Today, new energy vehicles as low-power and clean means of transportation have been rapid development. Along with the people’s growing requirement for comfort, they should have a comfortable environment under different driving conditions. Therefore, the air conditioning system of high efficiency and energy saving is essential for new energy vehicles. This paper mainly introduces the present status and development trend of air conditioning system on new energy vehicles.

Under the background of energy conservation and emission reduction advocated by the state, the sales volume of new energy vehicles increased rapidly and reached new highs in 2021. However, many domestic new energy vehicles still face the problems of serious homogenization and low market share. In view of this situation, we mine and capture the data of online consumers and potential consumers, analyze consumers' preferences in combination with the knowledge learned, take Shenzhen BYD Co., Ltd. as an example, analyze its competitive environment, and finally put forward feasible suggestions.

Energy saving of buildings is a necessary development trend. Air conditioning system as a large important part of building energy consumption has a huge energy-saving potential. Presently, the performance of the air-conditioner or the air-conditioning system is usually valued based on some performance indices. However, it is deficient to evaluate the performance of the air-conditioning system which uses the new energy or renewable energy only based on the indices mentioned above. According to the defects and based on the works of the solar application, a new index defined PVI is put forward to evaluate the performance of the solar air-conditioning system rationally, which is significant to the new energy or renewable energy application.

New energy vehicles have bright prospect in the near future. In new energy vehicles some parts which are driven by engine through transmission will be replaced by electric drive, such as refrigeration compressor used for air conditioning and air compressor used for air brake system. Because of advantages, such as high efficiency, low friction, compact structure, and so on, linear compressor is suitable to solve above problems. In this paper a novel electric linear compressor is presented. Research work, such as simulation, structure design, control design, has been done. Further experiments are being done by my research team. We believe that electric linear compressor is worthy of being researched to popularize new energy vehicles.

As coal, oil, natural gas and other non-renewable energy consumption and increasing energy demand, the utilization of solar energy as a new energy is greatly enhanced. In this work, a grid connected photovoltaic solar air conditioning system is designed, mainly comprised of solar panel, controller, inverter, room air conditioner and other parts. Air conditioning systems rely mainly on solar photovoltaic power; achieve the effect of energy conservation and environmental protection. The experimental result indicates that the system can achieve stable operation and the utilization of solar energy driving air conditioning system to save electricity. This air conditioning system is compared with the ordinary air conditioning system, SEER can increase 10.6 ~ 29.4%, HSPF can increase 6.25 ~ 18.5%.

With the rapid development of modern society, the measurement and control requirements of key variables of air conditioning test technology are also increasing. When the parameters of HVAC system are measured and controlled, there are a large number of sensors and instruments used. When sensor failure or measurement error distortion occurs, the air conditioning system cannot operate normally and automatically. At the same time, some variables in the test parameters cannot be directly collected by the sensor. In order to solve these problems, researchers have focused on soft measurement technology in recent years, which provides a good breakthrough for the measurement and control of air conditioning system test parameters. This paper expounds the application of soft measurement technology in HVAC system.

With the rapid development of new energy vehicles (NEVs) industry in China, the reusing of retired power batteries is becoming increasingly urgent. In this paper, the critical issues for power batteries reusing in China are systematically studied. First, the strategic value of power batteries reusing, and the main modes of battery reusing are analyzed. Second, the economic benefit models of power batteries echelon utilization and recycling are constructed. Finally, the economic benefits of lithium iron phosphate (LIP) battery and ternary lithium (TL) battery under different reusing modes are analyzed based on the economic benefit models. The results show that when the industrial chain is fully coordinated, LIP battery echelon utilization is profitable based on a reasonable scenario scheme. However, the multi-level echelon utilization is only practical under an ideal scenario, and more attention should be paid to the first level echelon utilization. Besides, the performance matching of different types of batteries has a great impact on the echelon utilization income. Thus, considering the huge potentials of China’s energy storage market, the design of automobile power batteries in the future should give due consideration to the performance requirements of energy storage batteries. Moreover, the TL battery could only be recycled directly, while the LIP has the feasibility of echelon utilization at present. At the same time, it will strengthen the cost advantage of the LIP battery, which deserves special attention.
