The paper deals with the mechatronical system, that are necessary during the implementation of the production processes in the companies. Mechatronics systems is a relatively new approach to product design and development, merging the principles of electrical, mechanical, computer and industrial engineering. Examples include robots, photocopiers, PC disk drives, sensors, automotive equipment sucha s anti-lock braking systems and many others. This paper focuses on robots and their possibilities of commissioning to the real production processes.

This paper describes a new approach to documenting media art which seeks to place in dialogue the artist's intentions and the audience's experience. It explicitly highlights the productive tension between the ideal, conceptual existence of the work, and its actual manifestation through different iterations and exhibitions in the real world. The paper describes how the approach was developed collaboratively during the production of a documentary collection for the artwork Giver of Names, by David Rokeby. It outlines the key features of the approach including artist's interview, audience interviews and data structure.

Concept selection is the most critical aspect of the entire product development process. However, many industries are not aware of this, or they might not possess essential knowledge about concept selection. Thus, this study aims to identify the concept selection method used by a series of particular areas within the manufacturing industry. In this study, the researcher conducted interviews with six managers from various production areas in the manufacturing industry. Then, the obtained data were analyzed qualitatively. The concept selection methods used for product design and development in the manufacturing industry were found to be based on various factors, including orders received, building and evaluating prototypes, discussion among executives, market demand, trial and error and the market’s standard deviation. This study serves as a guideline to help managers to evaluate concepts in a more practical way.

Product innovation design is challenging due to the complexity of the industrial environment, the changing needs of markets and customers, the effect of intense social competition, and the unpredictability of the future. This paper presents in a systematic analysis of reliability method on industrial product innovation design in order to illustrate what the real meaning of reliability method and how it works on the product innovation design. It also clarifies the relationship between reliability method and product innovation design, reflecting the function of reliability method on each work stage. It is concluded that a suitable thinking mode should be applied on the corresponding design, and it will enhance the effectiveness of innovative product design in general.
