As the main consumption equipment, the air-conditioning system of large-sized public buildings in Xi'an consumes 30%~¬60% of the total energy. Combining with the survey data and related norms, the paper analyses the energy consumption from the following aspects: basic situation of building, index of building energy consumption, ratio of energy consumption of air-conditioning system, load of air-conditioning and indoor environment. Thus, it will give a rational and scientific understanding to energy-efficiency of air-conditioning system of large-scale public buildings in Xi'an for the purpose of providing an efficient assistance to improving the energy consumption of air-conditioning system.

Large-scale public buildings have high energy density, which take big part of the gross energy consumption in buildings in China. It is still in attempting stage about the strategy of energy conservation in air conditioning systems. The objective of this study is to investigate that how to appropriately divide central air conditioning system zoning by using simulation software to calculate the basis dynamic temperature and load in typical large-scale public buildings. Effects of weather conditions, building envelope conditions and building structure on large-scale public building energy consumption were analyzed in this simulation. The results show that the building load is the fundamental factor involved in air conditioning system zoning. Surplus heat recovery in inner zone is also recommended to maintain inner zone comfort and energy conservation. This work provides the theoretical and technological basis for study on central air conditioning system zoning and thermal comfort for large-scale public building.

This paper briefly analyzes the structure and conservation approaches of building energy consumption, analyzes the forming reason and influence factors of heating and air-conditioning energy consumption and proposes the passive energy conservation designing strategies of low energy consumption building. Through the passive methods of building design, envelop enclosure and planning landscape, the goal of last year building low energy conservation can be achieved.

How to reduce the energy consumption of the central air-conditioning is important for the building energy efficiency. The energy efficiency reconstruction of the central air-conditioning system on one library in Guangzhou is completed with the network control system self-developed. The operational control and operational management is integrated in the network control system. The energy consumption before and after reconstruction about the air-conditioning system of the library is detected and analyzed in the paper. The result shows the mode that operational control and operational management integrated has better energy efficiency.

LoRaWAN is one of the leading Low power wide area network (LPWAN) LPWAN technologies that compete for the formation of big scale Internet of Things (IoT). It uses LoRa protocol to achieve long range, low bit rate and low power communication. Large scale LoRaWAN based IoT deployments can consist of battery powered sensor nodes. Therefore, the energy consumption and efficiency of these nodes are crucial factors that can influence the lifetime of the network. However, there is no coherent experimental based research which identifies the factors that influence the LoRa energy efficiency at various nodes density. In this paper, results on measuring the packet delivery ratio, packet loss, data rate and energy consumption ratio ECR to gauge the energy efficiency of LoRa devices at various nodes density are presented. It is shown that the ECR of LoRa is inversely proportional to the nodes density and that the ECR of the network is smaller at higher traffic indicating better network energy efficiency. It is also demonstrated that at high node density, spreading factor SF of 7 and 9 can improve the energy efficiency of the network by 5 and 3 times, respectively, compare to SF 11.
