Virtual enterprise or e-manufacturing is an advanced and effective manufacturing mode to modern manufacturing enterprises. In these modes, business process has been extended to outer enterprises, i.e. inter organization workflow. In order to achieve a efficient tool for workflow modeling with both simplicity and semantics, matter element is applied to construct a matter element digraph, in which a node is matter element. Then manufacturing service based workflow model can be dynamically changed or composed by matter element transformation. A case is studied to explain the approach presented in this paper.

Workflow management system is playing more and more significant role in business process management (BPM) and office automation (OA) of enterprises[. It can improve the efficiency and manageability of an enterprises daily teamwork, control as well as coordinate the processes[. Traditionally, it is not easy for the workflow modeling method to describe the complex business process clearly and intuitively. In this paper we improved the role based workflow model, and proposed a workflow modeling method based on multi-role playing. It is possible to make the modeling easier and simpler when we come to the complex business process modeling problems. Finally, an example of a B/S based Enterprise Financial Reimbursement Management System (EFRMS) is demonstrated to prove the convenience and feasibility about the method mentioned.

Workflow technique has been successfully used in many enterprises, and workflow modeling is one of the most important links, a successful application of workflow model can lay a solid foundation for realizing automation and monitoring of enterprise’s business process. This paper firstly points out the necessity of rationality validation in workflow model, then analyzes all kinds of existing validation algorithm of workflow model rationality, and emphatically describes a validation algorithm based on Petri net. At last this algorithm is improved, and the correctness of the algorithm is verified by an instance.

Workflow technology continues to be subjected to on-going development in its traditional application areas of business process modeling and business process coordination [ .It can improve the efficiency and manageability of an enterprises daily teamwork .Traditionally, it is not easy for the workflow modeling method to describe the complex business process clearly and intuitively [ .In this paper ,we improve the role based workflow model and introduces definition and enactment models to characterize workflows. In the way ,flexible modeling and enactment of business process is supported allowing changes even during execution. Finally,an example of Financial Reimbursement System is demonstrated to prove the convenience and feasibility about the method mentioned.

Abstract Machine tools (MTs) are the core manufacturing resources for discrete manufacturing enterprises. In the cloud manufacturing environment, MTs are massive, heterogeneous, widely dispersed and highly autonomous, which makes it difficult for cloud manufacturing mode to be deeply applied to support the networked collaboration operation among manufacturing enterprises. Realizing universal access and cloud application of various MTs is an essential prerequisite to solve the above problem. In this paper, an OSGi-based adaptation access method of MTs is proposed. First, the MTs information description model in the cloud manufacturing environment is built. Then, an OSGi-based adaptation access framework of MTs is constructed, and key enabling technologies, including machine tool information acquisition and processing, Bundle and Subsystem construction, are studied. Finally, an application case is conducted to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.

With the fiercer competition and more complex environment of manufacturing industry, the service-oriented manufacturing mode integrating manufacture and service has become an inevitable trend. Together with the producer services and product-service system, the development process of service-oriented manufacturing mode was summarized. Compared with the traditional manufacturing mode, a conceptual model of service-oriented manufacturing was proposed. Furthermore, the operational framework of service-oriented manufacturing mode was established based on its operating characteristics. The research paper could provide the manufacturing enterprises with some foundation for implementing the service-oriented manufacturing mode.

Green production mode is an advanced manufacturing mode. However, due to the environmental externality of green production, it is different for a pure market mechanism to promote the evolution of green operation mode of manufacturing enterprises. Government regulation is very important. This paper establishes an evolutionary game model of whether manufacturing enterprises choose to implement green production mode when the government implements two different mechanisms of reward and punishment. Considering the complexity of strategy selection of enterprises' green production behaviour under market competition, the method constructs the simulation analysis model of enterprises' green product production behaviour with multi-subject participation. We can simulate the influence of these factors on the strategic choice of both parties (enterprises and governments) by changing the different influence factors, and studying the evolutionary law of different government guidance and regulation strategies on the production behaviour of green products. These factors include government incentives, penalties, reputations, costs, differences in the cost of implementing green production on the corporate side, corporate reputation, and false rewards or penalties. By the computer implementation of multi-subject modelling, the results show that enterprises' green product production behaviour needs the government's guidance and regulation. When formulating relevant policies, the government should combine various guidance and regulation strategies and fully consider the influence of market competition.

Every day companies deal with internal problems in order to manage human resources during the execution of business processes. The ability to quickly identify and rapidly apply effective business practices to recurring problems becomes crucial in order to improve the efficiency of the organization. To seize the opportunity of adapting their business practices to emerging organizational forms (Extended Enterprise, Virtual Enterprise) and to reuse the expertise of knowledge workers – who are central to an organization's success – companies are required to face several challenges. This paper presents a set of business patterns useful in resolving emerging organizational issues to support the activities of knowledge workers, increase their productivity and their ability to find the information they need, and enable collaboration with colleagues without changing their habits. Also it describes a real case study and a software system that allows companies to introduce these business patterns in the workplace, adopting an Enterprise 2.0 approach.

Traditional enterprise information systems have many defects, so business process management (BPM) system was applied to the virtual enterprise and virtual enterprise process model is established based on BPM system. The dominant enterprise and the member enterprises used BPM system for their own information management system in the virtual enterprise. The BPM system model of the virtual enterprise was divided into the formation process and the operation process. The analysis method based on stochastic colored Petri net(SCPN) was also presented which can be used to model and analyze the process model in order to obtain the system performance analysis data. The virtual enterprise resources utilization rate can be seen. The model extends the application area of BPM system and provides a reference for the construction and management of virtual enterprise.

Through the analysis of the execution and dispatching principle of the Petri net, the business process management mode based on Petri net is proposed. We merge the place node and the transition node, and reside the token in the node. The only token in process instances and the sub-token in parallel process are introduced, which can avoid conflicts caused by multi-tokens. The business process model for the drawings design and approval is established, and it is verified by the workflow modeling system.
