The pavement performance of asphalt mixture and its adaptability to features of application area, cost estimation and harmonic relationship between performance and cost were studied and analyzed in this paper, evaluation model of technical and economic performance of asphalt mixture was constructed, evaluating indicators of technical and economic performance of asphalt mixture as performance matching coefficient, cost conversion demarcation coefficient and harmonic factor of performance and cost and corresponding calculation methods were proposed. On this basis, discrimination function of performance and cost was built to provide theoretical basis and decision support for selecting a satisfactory asphalt mixture scheme which had the best pavement performance and economic performance under certain natural and constraint conditions, it can provide a reference for the development of assist decision function of managerial system of pavement maintenance as well.

Pavement performance evaluation is a reasonable safeguard for the conservation plan and an important basis for investment decisions. In order to obtain a precise and quantitative evaluation result, a general evaluation model based on Extension Theory is established, and a concrete index is raised to indicate the pavement real condition. Practical pavement detection data of Jing-hu highway in Jiangsu Province is used to validate this model. The result shows that the evaluation model based on Extension Theory gives an accurate evaluation on pavement performance, and reflects the pavement condition well. It could provide solid foundation for pavement maintenance orders, and may have a bright future.

Pavement management systems assist engineers in the analysis of road network pavement condition data and subsequently provide input to the planning and prioritization of road infrastructure works programs. The data also provide input to a variety of engineering and economic analyses that assist in determining the future road network condition for a range of infrastructure-funding scenarios. The fundamental calculation of future pavement condition is commonly based on a pavement age versus pavement roughness relationship. However, roughness–age relationships commonly do not take into account the pavement’s historical performance; rather, an “average” rate of roughness progression is assigned to each pavement based on its current age or current roughness measurement. Results of a research project are documented; the project involved a comprehensive evaluation of pavement performance by examining roughness progression over time with other related variables. A method of calculating and effectively displaying roughness progression and the effects of pavement maintenance was developed. The method provides a better understanding of pavement performance, which in turn led to a methodology of calculating and reporting road network performance for application to the pavement design and delivery system in Queensland, Australia. Means of using this information to improve the accuracy of roughness progression prediction were also investigated.

Asphalt-treated base (ATB-25) is a widely used flexible base material. The composition and gradation of mineral aggregate are important factors affecting pavement performance of asphalt treated base. In this study, two new methods were proposed to address the problems of existing aggregate proportion calculation for asphalt mixtures: (1) the combination of generalized inverse solution of the normal equation and spreadsheet trial and (2) quadratic programming. Both methods can calculate mass ratios of various aggregates in a quick and accurate manner. The orthogonal test was used to design nine aggregate gradations within the range of asphalt treated base (ATB-25) stated in the industrial standard. The aggregate proportion was calculated by two new methods. The Marshall test, water weight test, rutting test, and water-soaked Marshall test were carried out on the asphalt mixture specimens. The pavement performance test results were fuzzified using the fuzzy mathematics method, and the weights of pavement performance evaluation indexes were determined through the analytic hierarchy process. Taking the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation values as the objective function, test results were analyzed and evaluated. Finally, the optimal aggregate gradation was determined considering factors of compactness, high-temperature rutting resistance, and water stability.

The measurement performance of road vehicle automatic weighing instrument installed on highways is directly related to the safety of roads and bridges. The fuzzy number indicates that the uncertain quantization problem has obvious advantages. By analyzing the factors affecting the metrological performance of the road vehicle automatic weighing instrument, combined with the fuzzy mathematics theory, the weight evaluation model of the dynamic performance evaluation of the road vehicle automatic weighing instrument is proposed. The factors of measurement performance are summarized and calculated, and the comprehensive evaluation standard of the metering performance of the weighing equipment is obtained, so as to realize the quantifiable analysis and evaluation of the metering performance of the dynamic road vehicle automatic weighing instrument in use, and provide data reference for adopting a more scientific measurement supervision method.

To develop new wood cellulose resources and fast-growing pulpwood plantation fiber sources, it is very important to evaluate their pulping properties. A comprehensive multi-index pulping-suitability evaluation model is investigated in this paper by considering four fast-growing wood species. First, a new evaluation-index system for kraft pulp was developed based on traditional evaluation-index systems. Then, the membership degree of every index was analyzed to obtain a fuzzy matrix. The proportional contribution of each parameter to the main pulping properties could then be determined. Finally, a comprehensive evaluation model of kraft pulp properties was developed. The model is reliable compared with traditional assessment methods. The results confirmed the feasibility and rationality of developing new wood cellulose resources and fast-growing pulpwood plantations using fuzzy comprehensive evaluations.

This paper mainly studies the application of intelligent lighting control system in different sports events in large sports competition venues. We take the Xiantao Stadium, a largescale sports competition venue in Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province as an example, to study its intelligent lighting control system. In this paper, the PID (proportion – integral – derivative) incremental control model and the Karatsuba multiplication model are used, and the intelligent lighting control system is designed and implemented by multilevel fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model. Finally, the paper evaluates the actual effect of the intelligent lighting control system. The research shows that the intelligent lighting control system designed in this paper can accurately control the lighting of different sports in large stadiums. The research in this paper has important practical significance for the planning and design of largescale sports competition venues.

In the College, performance evaluation system is directly related to the harmonious development of the school. Taking into account the factors in the evaluation system is fuzzy, so this paper uses fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model. But the model is too subjective, so this paper combines neural network and data envelopment analysis method, which ensures that fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is reasonable and scientific, and good school development and teacher self-interest. The performance assessment process, not only enables the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, but also fair and reasonably reflect the achievements of teachers, while this method is easy to use, wide application, and can be well applied in practice.
