China’s mine enterprises have gradually advanced towards the direction of collectivize and large-scale development, which requires continuous improvement and innovation on safety management. Based on the actual situation of safety management in China’s mine enterprises, this paper gave a general analysis of three principles in mine enterprises as material-oriented safety management, humanistic safety management and heart-oriented safety management and their adaptation in practice, as well as their limitations, and at last, it put forward a scientific implementation method. In addition, this paper discussed a model of Tri-intrinsic safety management which integrates three ideological principals of material-oriented safety management, humanistic safety management and heart-oriented safety management into mine enterprises. Based on Marxism theory on law of social and human development, Tri-intrinsic safety management is devoted to achieve the unification of safety values of employees and enterprises, the unification of people’s health and safety, as well as ego-development and production efficiency. Meanwhile, this model complied with the development trend of safety management in China’s mine enterprises, which can promote safety management of mine enterprises to a new level of development.

The hidden danger is the direct cause of coal mine accidents, and the number of hidden dangers in a certain area not only reflects the current safety situation, but also determines the development trend of safety production in this area to a large extent. By analyzing the formation and development law of the hidden dangers and hidden danger accident-induced mechanism in coal mines, it is concluded that there are some objective laws in the process of occurrence, development, weakening, and even stabilization of hidden dangers in a certain area. The development of the number of hidden dangers for a coal mine generally presents the law of similar normal distribution curve, with a certain degree of partial symmetry. Many years of hidden danger elimination in coal mines will accumulate large-scale hidden danger data. In this paper, by using the average value of hidden danger quantity in consecutive months to weaken the oscillation of hidden danger quantity sequence, and combining with gray model (1,1) and the neural network of extreme learning machine, and employing big data of hidden dangers available, a hidden danger quantity prediction model based on the gray neural network was established, and the experimental analysis and verification carried out. The results show that the model can achieve good prediction effect on the number of hidden dangers in a coal mine, which not only reflects the complex gray system behavior of hidden dangers of a coal mine, but also can predict dynamically. The safety management efficiency and emergency capacity of the coal mine enterprise will be greatly improved.

Traditionally site safety is a concern for the Architectural, Engineering & Construction (AEC) industry. In view of government of Hong Kong initiating a number of large scale AEC projects and a relative high number of serious accidents continue to occur, site safety will remain an issue for the local AEC. Recently, Building Information Modeling (BIM) or digital simulation and data management software have been attracting much attention both in Hong Kong and in the international sector. It is a notable question to ask “Is it possible to use BIM to improve site safety in Hong Kong?” For over ten years now, the concept of Safety Management System (SMS) has been adopted in Hong Kong as the strategy for site safety management systems. It is commonly accepted in Hong Kong the drive to establish, implement and monitor SMS comes from registered safety officer (RSO) and registered safety auditor (RSA). Thus, in theory views of safety auditors on the use of BIM for safety can reflect whether or not BIM is effective tool to improve site safety. In this paper, the SMS regulation in Hong Kong will be briefly outlined and then results of a survey of members of the Society of Accredited Safety Auditor (SASA) in Hong Kong will be presented. It is concluded that 78% of the respondents to this study believe there is benefit for using BIM for SMS and commonly respondents refer to using BIM for visualization of construction sequences and planning of hazard controls. This study provides the background to a wider investigation of the linkage between BIM and Health and Safety Management.

During the development of pre-made and conditioned foods, the corresponding recipes and process requirements should be met, large-scale production work should be performed in the central kitchen, and then distributed to the terminal stores, so that the conditioned foods become more popular. Based on previous work experience, this paper summarizes the research status of key technologies for preserving and sterilizing pre-processed foods. At the same time, this article discusses the key technical application content of pre-conditioned food processing quality and sterilization from four aspects: the application of ultra-high pressure technology, the prevention and control of common microorganisms, the application of tea polyphenols, and the development trend of pre-conditioned food.

In recent years, following with the development trend of large-scale and complexity in engineering, project management has been more and more difficult, both in China and abroad. Virtual Construction Mode (VCM), the modification and optimization of traditional project management mode, meets the needs for the current large-scale engineering management. With the strong support of Virtual Organization (VO) and Vitrual Technology (VT), VCM has the capacity to promote multi-party coordination, resource conservation, as well as scheme prioritization and so on.

Quality Management as a Sound Basis of Integrated Management Various management function-specific systems, such as for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety are described in widely applied international standards and guidelines. These documents are of obvious benefit to practising management. The implementation of a robust and effective integrated management system will support the achievement of high levels of safety performance and the enhancement and improvement of the safety culture in all types of industry. This paper has two main objectives. The first one is to address the key issues in theory and practice of integrated management systems, the second one is to illustrate the importance of an integrated (in particular safety) management system with examples from different organisations in the nuclear field.

With the rapid growth of international container transportation and the development trend of large-scale ships, there are deficiencies in ship utilization and transportation economy. More and more liner companies are actively building and optimizing container shipping network to improve service efficiency and reduce unit operating cost. The optimization model of container shipping network is established. Taking the minimum total cost of container shipping network as the objective, considering the constraints of shipping network, the immune algorithm is applied to solve the model, to determine the optimal container transportation network. Finally, two schemes are designed, and the simulation analysis results can select an optimal scheme, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.
