An integrated evaluation of the modern main battle tank based on Topsis method is discussed in this article. The method is a technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution which can avoid the difficulty in traditional evaluations that regard the multi-evaluation parameters as a single efficiency evaluating value. The results show that this mode1 features convenient calculations, high distinguish efficiency and high stability. The article supplies a new system to the comprehensive evaluation of the modern main battle tank.

Environmental issues have been receiving an increasing amount of attention. However, evaluating sustainable products is a challenging task. A comprehensive approach to evaluate sustainable products based on life cycle assessment strategy is proposed in this study. The evaluation procedure is based on the combination of analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and the technique for order preference by similarity to the ideal solution (TOPSIS) method. A sample evaluation for disposable coffee cups is provided to illustrate the comprehensive evaluation of sustainable products.

The aim of this study is to compare the economic performance of Turkish Republics in Central Asia with Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods. Turkish Republics have been experiencing a transition from a centrally planned economy towards a market economy since their independence. In this study important macroeconomic indicators are used to determine economic performance. Economic performance evaluation of the country is an important issue for economic management, investors, creditors and stock investors. Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method outranks the countries according to the proximity of the positive ideal solution and distance of the negative ideal solution. Economic Performance of Turkish Republics in Central Asia (Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan) are compared with TOPSIS method. İnvestigated with TOPSIS method countries best and worst economic performance years are detected during mentioned period and results are analyzed.

This paper proposes the indicator systems and integrated desirability framework for comprehensive evaluation towards the operating speeds of high-speed railway (HSR). Speed is a crucial piece in the characterization of the HSR system. The debate about what is the most appropriate operating speed continues. The established indicator systems and integrated desirability framework can comprehensively evaluate the HSR operating speeds from stand points of the economic efficiency, operational efficiency, track capacity, operational security, and environment impact. Moreover, the integrated desirability framework, which is a combination of entropy-analytical hierarchy procedure (EAHP) and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS), can output some references for selecting the most suitable speed regimes of HSR. The application of the desirability framework to the case of China high-speed railway (CHSR) is demonstrated concretely. Based on the case study of CHSR, the comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of the indicator systems on HSR operating speeds is carried out. The case study shows that the proposed indicator systems and integrated desirability framework can be used to evaluate comprehensively the HSR operating speeds under various conditions.

Batam is one of the existing city in Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. The amount of tourism potential and strategic location for tourists to come to Batam. But what is being searched is the difficulty of finding a tourist attraction based on certain parameters. To overcome these problems, it takes a technology that provides tourist recommendation map information. This research develops this application to give recommendation of tourism based on certain parameters as needed by using TOPSIS method in Batam City web based. The results of development, the application can run functionally (online), can store the tour data and criteria. It can also do the calculation of attractions based on TOPSIS decision. Users can fill the weight of some parameters of distance, time and cost. In order to provide ease in location visualization, the final result of decision calculation is able to provide tourist information in the form of object location of Google Maps API and a brief description of the tour.

Keywords: location, tourist attraction, decision, TOPSIS

The choice of business location will affect the risks and benefits of the company as a whole. This condition occurs because the location greatly affects the fixed costs and variable costs, both in the medium term and long term. The location of the business should be taken into account at the time of planning, so that the business to be run can be organized implementation in the future. Online Bicycle Indonesia is a startup engaged in goods and food delivery services by using online-based bike, will open branches in several cities and districts in Tangerang Raya area so that the result of choosing the right branch location, required a dynamic decision support system that can later be used as consideration of managers in the process of selecting branch locations. Problems in selecting branch of this company can be used Decision Support System using AHP-TOPSIS method. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method has advantages based on pair comparison matrix and perform consistency analysis, while Technique For Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method can solve practical decision making, because the concept is simple and easy to understand, and have the ability to measure the relative performance of decision alternatives. The results of the study show Kota Tangerang Selatan is superior to the weight of 0.824, the two Kota Tangerang with a weight of 0.732 and three Kabupaten Tangerang with a weight of 0.0, The decision taken can be accounted for by the calculation of AHP-TOPSIS as a model in the decision support system

Car is one of the means of transportation that is growing rapidly in the country of Indonesia, because of its comfort and safety. However, problems arise when buyers will buy a car vehicle often faced with a variety of choices of years, types, prices and various other criteria offered. Of the many criteria, buyers have difficulty comparing criteria with other criteria. So, a decision support system was built using the TOPSIS method to rank each alternatif cars based on criteria. The purpose of this study is to build a system of car purchase decision support applications using the TOPSIS method that can provide car recommendations in accordance with the wishes of the buyer. The research method used includes data collection methods and system design methods. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to make car purchasing decisions at Kelip Motor Karanganyar applying the TOPSIS method and how to build an application system for car purchasing decisions by applying the TOPSIS method at Kelip Motor Karanganyar. The result of this research is to build an application system for car purchasing decisions in Kelip Motor Karanganyar using the TOPSIS method.

The selection of vendors to work on a project is an activity that must be carried out effectively and precisely so that the project is carried out in accordance with business needs and does not suffer losses. To get the best vendor ranking, you can use the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) calculation method. TOPSIS method is a method that generates rankings by calculating the distance between the best solution and the worst solution. The steps to calculate using TOPSIS are identification of alternatives and their values, create a decision matrix, normalize the matrix, calculate the normalization matrix, look for positive and negative solutions, calculate the distance between positive and negative solutions, and calculate relative closeness and sort preferences. In this study using 8 criteria and 5 alternative vendors. Research method using research and development. This method will produce a prototype. The results of the calculation of TOPSIS obtained vendor c who gets the highest score and vendor b with the lowest rank
