As the development and applying of real-time multimedia such as VoIP, video conferencing and so on, the Internet is required to provide a better QoS support. However, current IP network can only provide ‘Best Effort’ service and can not satisfy different network multimedia traffic quality requirements. Based on the analysis DiffServ architecture and studies its control mechanism, the OPNET simulation design different ToS value in IP header of VoIP traffic, and apply WFQ scheduling algorithm on the bottleneck link. The simulation results compare jitter, delay, delay variation of different ToS value of VoIP traffic, and analyze relationship of QoS and ToS value in the IP network.

VoIP stands for voice over internet protocol. It is one of the most widely used technologies. It enables users to send and transmit media over IP network. The transition from IPv4 to IPv6 provides many benefits for internet IPv6 is more efficient than IPv4. This paper presents a performance analysis of VoIP over WLAN using IPv4 and IPv6 and OPNET software program to simulate the protocols and to investigate the QoS parameters such as jitter, delay variation, packet send, and packet received and throughputs for IP4 and IP6 and compare between them.

Internet growth in recent years has encouraged many new applications to be provided for the end user. However, providing and maintaining high quality of service for these new applications is a challenging matter that is getting the attention of many many researchers nowadays. The QoS challenge is emanating from the diversity of these applications, in term of bandwidth requirements and high sensitivity to delay and delay variation. Three main architectures were proposed by IETF in an effort to make the IP QoS a reality. They are integrated services (Intserv), differentiated services (DiffServ) and multiprotocol label switching (MPLS). Sometimes perceived as competitor, these architectures are in fact complementary developments that approach the QoS challenge from different network perspectives. Thus these approaches can work together in a manner that provides a global QoS within Heterogeneous network. This paper aims to propose and discusses an improved admission control mechanism in order to achieve a global QoS in the HN Network. The proposed mechanism uses MPLS-TE tunnels at the core of Heterogeneous networks to maintain QoS for inter-domain flows and applications.

According to the characteristics of assembly scheduling, an assembly scheduling model for complex machine product was defined in this paper. The assembly relationship of a complex machine product is expressed by a job assembly graph. A job assembly graph is translated into an assembly process graph. The assembly process graph is a tree-form. There is a partial order between each child node and its parent in the assembly process graph. Then an assembly scheduling algorithm for complex machine product is given. The goal of the algorithm is minimizing total assembling time. The algorithm could always gain a good assembly schedule through minimizing the waiting time of all assembling operations. The feasibility and efficiency of the algorithm was verified through an example.

This article examines the interfaith relation of Muslims and Christians in the process of establishment of churches in Perumahan Non-Dinas TNI Angkatan Laut in Driyorejo Gresik. The article concludes that the real inter-religious relation in Driyorejo is very good. It is characterized by a relationship of mutual respect and tolerance in order to implement the teachings of their respective religions in the area. This relationship functionally indicates that the process of adaptation is very good. The harmony of inter-religious relation contributes to the creation of an orderly and safe society. Social-religious elements can be integrated together to create a solid and unified society. The harmony can be achieved because their religious and cultural values of society emphasize the accommodation and tolerant attitude. The social problems associated with the establishment of churches in the Perumahan indeed could lead to social unrest. Borrowing structural-functionalist theory, it can be stated that systemic balance is likely to change because of the influence of extra system. The public unrest indicates that the system is experiencing instability. However, the social system has an internal control mechanism that can stabilize the system after disorder. In the case of the establishment of churches, the community tend to choose legal approach as a means of controlling or resolving conflict.

In this work, we introduce the simulation design and microfabrication of a class of magnetic metamaterials with critical dimension of 2–6 microns and lattice constant of 30–50 microns. These metamaterials will exhibit magnetic response at 0.5–2THz. To optimize the design variables, we conducted a series of Taguchi experiments and a quasi-linear relationship of resonant frequency is established upon each design parameter. We are currently characterizing the first generation of the fabricated magnetic metamaterials using Fourier Transformed Infrared spectroscopy.
