Condition of TT&C equipment is very complex, and there are many state parameters. It is a significant issue to be solved in limited bandwidth. SNMP has been successfully applied to monitor equipment condition in many industrial fields, but has not been applied to monitor TT&C equipments at present. Using virtual instrument as software development platform, a method based on SNMP protocol is presented for Remote Monitoring System of TT&C equipment. Then the system is verified. It was concluded that parameters and status of TT&C equipment could be retrieved using SNMP protocol no matter which communication method the equipment supports.

This paper covers the current situation of remote monitoring system, combined with the basic features and running environment of GoAhead web server, Put forward the solution to integrate GoAhead web server, Internet, embedded development platform and Linux operation system, design a remote monitoring system. By which the user can monitor voltage and control the stepper motor’s running in real time. The application results show that GoAhead web server reacts rapidly manipulates data quickly. It’s feasible to put into place and to achieve satisfied effect for the management and control of the embedded product.

This paper proposes a remote monitoring system that consists of three clients and servers. A web server is adopted to supply a remote visiting interface for browsers from Internet. A video server is installed to capture the live streaming video, and broadcast it to video clients that are embedded in browsers. More ever, a TCP DAQ (Data Acquisition) server is designed to acquire data from sensors, and then transmit them to VI (Virtual Instrument) clients that are also embedded in browsers. To support VI clients that are designed by different languages, such as C++, Flex or HTML5, multiple protocols are integrated in the TCP DAQ server. Through identifying the type of virtual instrument client that is connected to it, the TCP DAQ server can select a protocol automatically.

The remote monitoring system for fault diagnosis based on B/S model is established using ActiveX control and virtual instrument (VI) techniques. The system consists of clients, network communications and remote fault diagnosis center. Remote panel technology based on B/S model using LabVIEW is constructed to realize the real-time display the results of remote monitoring. The remote fault diagnosis is achieved based on expert system. The temperate monitoring example shows the effective of this system.

To improve the efficiency of the remote monitoring system for logistics transportation, we proposed a remote monitoring system based on wireless sensor network and GPRS communication. The system can collect information from the wireless sensor network and transmit the information to the ZigBee interpreter. The monitoring system mainly includes the following parts: Car terminal, GPRS transmission network and monitoring center. Car terminal mainly consists by the Zigbee microcontroller and peripherals, wireless sensor nodes, RFID reader, GPRS wireless communication module composed of a micro-wireless monitoring network. The information collected by the sensor communicates through the GPRS and the monitoring center on the network coordinator, sends the collected information to the monitoring center, and the monitoring center realizes the information of the logistics vehicle in real time. The system has high applicability, meets the design requirements in the real-time acquisition and information transmission of the information of the logistics transport vehicles and goods, and realizes the function of remote monitoring.
