Influence of Acidic Impurities on Rheological Properties of Boron/Agglomerated Boron and HTPB Slurry

The rheological properties of HTPB mixed with boron (B) or agglomerated boron (TB) were investigated to explore the effect of the impurities of boron on the processing of propellant. The phase structure, morphology, and acidity of each sample were characterized by XRD, SEM and pH, respectively. The results show that rheological property of B/HTPB can be significantly improved by agglomerating boron with binder. Time has little effect on the viscosity of TB/HTPB while that of B/HTPB is a strong function of time. The viscosity of TB/HTPB decreases when the temperature increases from 303K to 343K, while that of B/HTPB decreases from 303K to 323K and then increases sharply after 323K. After agglomerating with binder, theTonsetof boron reduces from 1056K to 954K andTpdrops from 1076K to 998K. Compared with B2, the weight gain and oxidation degree of TB2 increases by 27% and 8.5%, respectively.

Sintesis nanofiber komposit Zn-PVDF kopolimer dengan metoda elektrospinning telah berhasil dilakukan. Proses pembuatan nanofiber komposit serta  morfologi yang terbentuk dipengaruhi oleh penambahan Zn-asetat dengan perubahan diameter rata-rata serat dari 357,13 nm menjadi 777,24 nm. Analisis FTIR menunjukkan bahwa struktur kristal nanofiber komposit Zn-PVDF kopolimer didominasi oleh strukturβ-phase, dengan bilangan gelombang 1190,08 cm-1 dan 487,99 cm-1 untuk struktur α-phase dan 1404,18 cm-1; 1280,73 cm-1; 1074,35 cm-1; 881,47 cm-1; dan 840,96 cm-1 untuk struktur β-phase.Kata kunci :nanofiber komposit, Zn-PVDF kopolimer komposit, elektrospinning,kristal struktur, morfologi, diameter fiber The fabrication of Zn-PVDF copolymer nanofiber composite has been investigated in this research study by using electrospinning method. The rheological property is the best method which can directly reflect the dispersion property of polymer surfactants. In this paper, the rheological properties in the systems of pure cement, cement/fly ash and cement/silica fume with polycarboxylate superplasticizers of different molecular structures were studied. The effect of molecular structure on shear sress, apparent viscosity and thixotropy in compound cementitious systems was expatiated. At last, the rules of mineral admixture to the system’ rheological property and the relations between adsorption amount and rheological properties were put forward.

In the restart process of pipeline containing waxy crude oil after shutdown, the rheological properties of oil, including viscosity, yield stress and thixotropy is studied. The entire restart process is decided by various factors; in this paper the effects of outlet temperature, shutdown and restart temperature as well as shutdown time duration to the rheological property are taken into the consideration. The measurements are employed using a controlled shearing rheometer to investigate rheological property based on different restart conditions. In addition, this paper has also researched affection of emulsion and blended samples mixing with two types of crude oil in various ratios. Finally comprehensive rheological evaluation to restartability is obtained.

The crystallization and rheological properties of PET were studied by using capillary remoter and plate remoter in the paper. The results showed that the addition of PEN could improve the rheological property of PEN/PET blends and the addition of PC could improve the toughness of PEN/PET blends. Besides, Nucleating agent could accelerate the crystallization rate and form crystal particles with small dense in order to improve the properties of impact resistance, tensile strength and transparency of products.
