Dynamic simulation study on Morse CVT input mechanism was established by using software Adams, and it can get curves of displacement, velocity and acceleration of each bar and the torque of input mechanisms output in order to research its dynamic characteristics. This method is suitable for dynamic simulation of connecting rod mechanism, meanwhile it is easy to do optimal design by amending corresponding simulation parameter.

The new type of pipeline-cleaning robot discussed in this paper is developed to clean pipelines within the diameter range 200mm-250mm, which is propelled by using screw locomotion. With the help of CATIA, the modeling & simulation software, the simulation model of the robot and its vibration analysis has been obtained. From the analysis, dynamic characteristics of pipeline robot vary with the output parameters of control module and the structures of robot joints. Stimulated vibration has very little influences on the whole machine. The stability and reliability of the robot have been proven. According to the experimental study of principle prototype and dynamic simulation study of the virtual prototype, dynamic characteristics can be improved by optimizing the structures of robot and the related output parameters of control module, which contributes to the improvement of its motion stability. Therefore, it is believed that the robot has great value in practical use.

The power bond graph of hydraulic system of power-slipway for combined machine tools was built on the basis of analysis on its hydraulic system and actual working cases. Dynamic model of hydraulic system of power-slipway was built. At the same time, making use of Simulink, dynamic simulation of hydraulic system of power-slipway was carried out. Influence law of primary technology parameters on dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic system of power-slipway was expounded. The simulation results will provide theory basis for performance analysis and optimal design of hydraulic system of power-slipway for combined machine tools.

The roller gear indexing cam has irreplaceable superiority in the high-accuracy and high-speed indexing motion, but it can not keep the system’s good dynamic characteristics to improve machining accuracy of cam only. This paper studies the dynamic simulation of the roller gear indexing cam by means of virtual prototype technology, rigid multi-body dynamics, and contact mechanics, and the influences of this system’s parameters on dynamic responds of the mechanism. These works are valuable for designers, makers and users to optimal design, test, and make the mechanism, and give a new method for studying dynamics of roller gear indexing cam.

Abstract Purpose Determining the safety conditions of a hot pepper harvester to mechanize harvesting. Methods The dynamic characteristics of a hot pepper harvester were analyzed with the dynamic simulation program RecurDyn. Results The pepper harvester can climb a maximal slope of 25° under full loading conditions; the maximal allowable height of an obstacle over which the harvester can drive is 450 mm; the minimal rotation radius during a spin turn is 870 mm. Conclusions Considering its dynamic characteristics, the harvester can be applied on over 95% of domestic upland fields. The safety accident rate can be decreased with the use of the spin turn method. In conclusion, the dynamic characteristics are sufficiently safe for the domestic upland fields.

Analytic model of electromagnetic linear actuator in the function of electric and geometric parameters is proposed and the effects of the design parameters on the dynamic characteristics are analyzed. To improve the dynamic characteristics, optimal design is conducted by applying sequential quadratic programming method to the analytic model. This optimal design method aims to minimize the response time and maximize force efficiency. By this procedure, electromagnetic linear actuator having high-speed characteristics is developed.
