It includes four aspects that development of science & technology industry promotes construction of ecological mining area: improving recovery ratio of mineral resources, improving resources comprehensive utilization, reducing discharge of wastes in mining area and reducing destruction to ecological environment. It includes five aspects that construction of ecological mining area promotes development of science & technology industry: providing financial support, providing technical support, providing market, providing test sites and production base, providing development direction. To synergetic development of science & technology industry and ecological mining area, the fundamental mechanism is the realization of benefits synergy, target and approach synergy and innovation synergy.

With the increasing amount of tailings, it has brought many serious problems like take up a lot of land, construction and maintenance tailings reservoirs must be consume a large amount of money. The stockpiled tailings is not only bring drawbacks, but also bring huge economic benefits for us. For example, recycling of useful components contained in the tailings, or use the tailings as a whole. This article introduction the tailings status, utilization and point out direction of future development of tailings utilization.

The development of mineral resources is accompanied by serious threats to the geological environment in China. In order to balance mining order, mine environmental protection and ecological restoration, this article examines a case study of Ningwu mining area and proposes an accurate method for mine dynamic monitoring in mining area based on remote sensing (RS), which is a series of technical processes with RS images selection, mine development situation and dynamic monitoring which includes areas change and types transfer. Findings indicate that the area of bauxite pit, bauxite and coal dump increased, the area of coal industrial square decreased, coal dump and industrial square mainly transferred into bauxite pit. The organization and storage model were discussed for results integrated management by spatial database engine (ArcSDE).The application of results retrieval was developed by GIS components. This method can be considered as an effective approach for a wide range of mine development monitoring in mining areas in China.

It is well known that the comprehensive utilization of salt lake resources can not only create a good economic benefit, but also effectively protect ecological environment of salt lake and achieve sustainable development. After potassium separating for potassium fertilizer from salt lakes, the rest of mother liquor brines are rich resources of magnesium and boron. Research on phase equilibria of salt-water systems containing magnesium and borate can provide reference data for comprehensive development and utilization of salt lake resources.

During the exploitation and utilization of the mineral resources, varieties of pollutants have been produced, which would impact the natural environment inevitably and bring many adverse effects to ecological environment and the human health. Its worth noting that the wastewater from copper mineral processing (WCMP) is one of the main source of mine environmental pollution. The WCMP is characterized by large quantity and containing large numbers of suspended solids, residual flotation reagents and heavy metals, etc. Wastewater can be discharged and realized reuse only after effective treatment. Recently, natural sedimentation, neutralization, flocculation, oxidation and other treatment techniques by wastes are the commonly used methods to treat the mineral processing wastewater.

Based on the investigation of the comprehensive utilization technology of tunnel slag in expressway, the author finds that combining with the characteristics of the project, planning scientific management content, formulating reasonable utilization principles, and implementing the measures and control of the tunnel slag gravel yard and the waste slag yard can improve the recycling utilization rate of tunnel slag, reduce the amount of tunnel slag waste, reduce the land occupation and damage the ecological environment.

In China countryside, the government policies encouraging individual farmers to construct biogas digester were strongly promoted to take clean biogas as the main household energy consumption, replacing the traditional way of biomass combustion energy. The construction and application situation of biogas digester since the new energy policies implementation was surveyed with the method of questionnaire survey, discussed and analyzed in detail with classification analysis method. The feedback of survey reports shows that three important factors including subsequent technical services, the shortage of financial support and insufficient fermentation raw material, have badly hampered the extensive construction of biogas digester and comprehensive utilization of biogas in different fields.
