Because torque ripple disturbance can be created when the brushless dc motor is communicating, In this paper, from two aspects of energy feedback and the torque ripple, H/L - PWM - ON control strategy is analyzed .And a simulation system is set up. Through the trials, it shows that H/L - PWM - ON strategy can efficiently complete the energy feedback, has small torque ripple, and fully proves the feasibility and practicability of this control strategy.

Due to the good performance of brushless motor, its application is widespread. Brushless DC motor has following advantages that are low interference, low noise, high efficiency and so on, so it was widely used in industrial and control field. But DC motor has larger current commutation torque ripple, greatly reduce their reliability and stability. This design using direct torque control strategy to reduce torque ripple, and compares the control results of PI controller with direct torque control method. In the process of regulating motor’s speed ,When adopts PI controller here has great overshoot and start time of speed is long than direct torque control, current pulse obviously severe than direct torque control. The simulation results show that overall effect of direct torque control is superior than double closed loop control. It fully explains that the control strategy in this paper is effective.

In order to improve the controllability and safety of electric vehicle, the flexibility of the motor control system, and ensure the service life of the motor controller, a kind of brushless DC motor control system that used microcontroller with special integrated circuits is suggested in this paper. Introduced the control scheme and operational principle of the control system, given the main hardware circuit, and expounded the control strategy and software design of system. In this control system, the microcontroller is mainly used to control special integrated circuits, implement good man-machine conversation and control strategy, as well as the management of the lead-acid battery; Special integrated circuits main to control the motor, alleviate the pressure of microcontroller effectively, guarantee the microcontroller to complete other work better. The test result indicates that the control system have a simple structure, response quickly, good reliability.

First of all, this article creates the mathematical model of blushless DC Motor. Secondly, analysis the reduction theory of commutation torque ripple. Finally, put forward a strategy to reduce the commutation torque ripple from the low-speed level and high-speed level. This method guarantee equal between current decline rate of shutdown phase and current rising rate of opening phase during commutation, thus keep the current of un-commutation stable. Build a real brushless DC motor control platform for experimental verification, the proposed strategy of brushless DC motor commutation torque ripple is suppressed effectively.
