In order to investigate the material and lubrication of the moving parts of a space probe, a sliding frication tester was developed under vacuum and cryogenic environment. The tester includes the following four parts: driving system, loading system, measuring system and refrigerating system. A computer program was also developed to acquire and record the experimental data. Friction coefficients of component pairs of material GCr15-GCr15 were tested in different environments on the tester. The results show that in terms of the friction coefficient and life of the friction pair under vacuum and low temperature environment, the pairs with vacuum grease are far better than that without grease. The tester meets the design requirements.

based on the analysis of the production technology and present status of online glass coating production, a non-contact measurement capacitance sensor, which is adaptive to the high temperature condition and enjoys a novel structure, is proposed in the paper. The online measurement of molten tin surface position in the CVD coating production process under the condition of 700°C can be realized with the sensor. The reliability and feasibility of the dynamic measuring system have been proved by the experiment. The dynamic accuracy is better than 0.1mm within the effective range of 25mm.

In this paper, an on-machine profile measuring system for aspheric ground surface was presented, which involved data processing with improved two-dimensional weighted mean filtering and free form surface fitting. To verify the reliability of this system, a calibration experiment was done by comparing the measuring results of Ф320mm mirror between the WYKO 24 inch interferometer and the on-machine measuring system. The experiment results show that the on-machine measurement is effective and it can provide foundation for compensation machining. By comparing the measurement experiment results of the Keyence LC2430 with the WYKO interferometer, it is demonstrated that the deviation of PV is better than 0.23μm and the deviation of RMS better than 0.08μm.

This work investigates the ink mileage of dry toners in electrophotography (EP). Four different substrates were printed on a dry-toner color production Xerox iGen3 EP press. The print layout contained patches with different cyan, magenta, yellow, and black tonal values from 10% to 100%. Toner amounts on cyan patches were measured using an analytical method. Printed patches and unprinted paper samples, as well as dry toners, were dissolved in concentrated nitric acid. The copper concentrations in the dissolved solutions were analyzed by a Zeeman graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometer. Analytical results were calculated to determine the toner amounts on paper for different tonal values. Their corresponding reflection densities were also measured. All data were plotted with OriginPro® 8 software, and four mathematical models were used for curve fitting. It was found that the C-S model fitted the experimental data of the two uncoated papers better than the other three models. None of the four models fitted the experimental data of the two coated papers, while the linear model was found to fit the data well. Linear fitting was the best in the practical density region for the two coated papers. Ink mileage curves obtained from curve fitting were used to estimate how much ink was required to achieve a target density for each paper; hence, the ink mileage was calculated. The highest ink mileage was 3.39 times the lowest ink mileage. The rougher the paper surface, the higher the requirement for ink film weight, and the lower ink mileage. No correlation was found between ink mileage and paper porosity.

This paper aims to study for accurate sheet trim shower position for paper making process. An accurate position is required in an automation system. A mathematical model of DC motor is used to obtain a transfer function between shaft position and applied voltage. PID controller with Ziegler-Nichols and Hang-tuning rule and Fuzzy logic controller for controlling position accuracy are required. The result reference explains it that the FLC is better than other methods and performance characteristics also improve the control of DC motor.

Isothermal vapour-liquid equilibrium data at 65, 73 and 80 °C and isobaric ones at 101.3 kPa were measured in the tetrachloromethane-sec-butyl alcohol system. A modified circulation still of the Gillespie type was used for the measurements. Under the conditions of measurement, the system exhibits positive deviations from Raoult's law and minimum boiling-point azeotropes. The experimental data were fitted to a number of correlation equations, the most suitable being the Wilson equation.

The performance of a pond–constructed wetland system in the treatment of municipal wastewater in Kiaochow city was studied; and comparison with oxidation ponds system was conducted. In the post-constructed wetland, the removal of COD, TN and TP is 24%, 58.5% and 24.8% respectively. The treated effluent from the constructed wetland can meet the Chinese National Agricultural and Irrigation Standard. The comparison between pond–constructed wetland system and oxidation pond system shows that total nitrogen removal in a constructed wetland is better than that in an oxidation pond and the TP removal is inferior. A possible reason is the low dissolved oxygen concentration in the wetland. Constructed wetlands can restrain the growth of algae effectively, and can produce obvious ecological and economical benefits.

Multi-motor wheel independent driving technology is an important direction of electric vehicle(EV). Based on the analysis of the features of existing independent driving system of electric vehicle, a new dual-motor independent driving system configuration was designed. Complete parameters matching and simulation analysis of the system include motor, reducer, and battery. Distributed control network architecture based on high-speed CAN bus was developed, and information scheduling was optimized and real-time predictability was analyzed based on the rate monotonic (RM) algorithm and jitter margin index. The vehicle lateral stability control was achieved based on coordinated electro-hydraulic active braking. Based on the new dual-motor independent driving system, a new battery electric car was designed and tested. The results show that the vehicle has excellent dynamic and economic performance.

A new test facility was designed and constructed to simulate flow in a horizontal well with a single perforation. A total of 635 tests were conducted with Reynolds numbers ranging from 5000 to 60,000 with influx to main rate ratios ranging from 1/5 to 1/100, and also for the no-influx case. The flow behavior in a single-perforation new friction expression for a single-perforation horizontal well was developed. A new simple correlation for the horizontal well friction factor was developed by applying experimental data to the general friction factor expression. The new friction factor correlation and experimental data were compared with the Asheim et al. (1992) data and model, and showed that the new correlation performed better than the Asheim et al. (1992) model.

At present, smooth blasting are widely used in urban subway excavation. To improve smooth blasting effect in the blasting excavation process of urban subway, this paper took the fourteen section of Qingdao subway as the background, confirmed the reasonable interval of surrounding holes by combining the theoretical calculation and the actual scene; improved the smooth blasting effect obviously by changing the charge structure of periphery holes. The results of the experiment showed that adopted air-deck divided decoupling charge, when interval of surrounding holes was 350mm, and the minimum burden was 500mm, the smooth blasting effect was better, and the half eye tracking rate was beyond 85%, which meet the design requirements. The experiments proved that when adopted air-deck divided decoupling charge, the blasting effect was better than adopted concentrated charge, so there will be some reference value to the later engineering.
