The supported [Bmim]6PMo9V3O40was synthesised by using the ion liquid [Bmim]Cl and heteropoly acid H6PMo9V3O40, and was supported on the active carbon fibre.The results of FT-IR showed that the structure of Ionic liquid cation and anion heteropoly acid on the active carbon fibre did not changed during the synthesising and supporting of the [Bmim]6PMo9V3O40. The catalysts performance of [Bmim]6PMo9V3O40/ACF on Flue Gas Desulfurization was investigated. The investigation was focused on the influence of the capacity of [Bmim]6PMo9V3O40, the oxygen centent, and reaction temperature on [Bmim]6PMo9V3O40/ACF for flue gas desulfurization. The experimental results showed that the desulfurization rate was up to 100%, lasting for 100 minutes,the sulfur capacity was as high as 400 mg/g in 4h, as desulfurization codition for the oxygen centent of 8% and the temperature of 60°C.

Sorbent of CuO loaded on complex carrier of attapulgite and activated carbon was prepared by incipient impregnation method for flue gas desulfurization. The effects of CuO loading, reaction temperature and components in flue gas on the desulfurization performance were investigated in a fixed-bed quartz reactor. The experimental results indicate that the sorbents of 20 wt% CuO loading has a high desulfurization activity under conditions of reaction temperatures 200-250 oC and 21000 h-1, and O2 is necessary for the high desulfurization activity of the sorbents.

In this paper, utilizing the purified flue gas desulfurization (FGD) gypsum as raw materials to prepare calcium sulfate whisker (CSW) by hydrothermal method, the effects of the dosage of crystal modifier, reaction temperature, pH, etc. on the crystal morphology of CSW were discussed. The results show that the purified FGD gypsum can replace high-quality natural gypsum for the preparation of the CSW with excellent quality. The dosage of crystal modifier (K2SO4) and reaction temperature have a significant effect on the morphology and aspect ratio of CSW, while pH and reaction time have a minor effect. When the dosage of K2SO4 is 3 wt%, pH is adjusted to 2 and the solution is reacted at 130 °C for 60 min, CSW with excellent quality can be obtained.

To date, limestone-gypsum has been the most widely used sintering flue gas desulfurization technology in China's steel industry. In order to demonstrate the application status, this paper stated the current desulfurization situation of Baosteel, Meishan Steel, Xiangtan Steel, Zhang steel. Process of limestone-gypsum obtained in these steel companies is playing an increasingly important role in sintering flue gas desulfurization, and a majority of these plants get a high desulfurization rate at more than 90%, which makes great contribution to the work of sulfur dioxide emissions. Besides, some problems of the desulfurization process in these plants are discussed and solutions are put forward to promote further development of the technology. For the prospects of the technology, it has been an inevitable trend to develop integration technology of desulfurization, denitrification and dioxin removal to meet requirements for energy saving work during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan. All these above presented in the paper will provide a basis in reality for the further development of this technology.

White mud is generally known as the residue of soda ash production by ammonia-soda process. The treatment of it has been one problem in soda ash industry due to the large amount of production, strong alkalinity and corrosiveness. In China, the treatment of white mud is stacking currently, which not only occupying land but also causing environment pollution. The main composition of it is the calcium carbonate. If white mud replaces the limestone as the desulfurization agent in wet Flue Gas Desulfurization (W-FGD) system, it can attain the goal of treating the waste with another, achieve the circular economy between enterprises, and reduce the desulfurization cost significantly. In this paper, the research of white mud in 660 MW Unit W-FGD systems was investigated. Study shows that the properties of white mud and limestone are significantly different. Because of smaller particle size and active MgO, the alkaline and reaction activity of white mud are better than that of limestone, results to higher desulfurization rate and lower running cost. However, the purity of white mud is lower because of CaSO4, Cl-, and other impurities, so the dewatering system of gypsum needs to increase output by about 17%; the output of the slurry feed system needs to be increased by about 30%; the discharge capacity of wastewater needs to be increased by about 23 t/h.

Abstract: A new solid catalyst was synthesized from an ionic liquid and heterogenised by changing anion reaction. The new heterogeneous acidic catalyst was characterized by SEM images, EDS analysis, AFM images, Ft-IR, HNMR, 13CNMR and Mass Spectroscopy. It was applied to synthesis of tri-arylmethanes throughout one-pot tri-component reactions among aromatic aldehydes, N,N-dimethylaniline and other carbonic nucleophiles such as anisole and indole. Hence, synthesis of convenient and inexpensive micro-heterogeneous catalyst was introduced, the efficiency of which was confirmed. Also, various useful products were synthesized throughout this simple and clean procedure.
