This study aimed to determine the effect of rice husk ash on yield and growth of peanut plants. This research has been carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture of the Islamic University of Indragiri Tembilahan, Tembilahan Hulu District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The time of the study began from April to July 2017. This research was a field trial using the Randomized Block Design (RBD) method which consisted of 6 levels of treatment, they are; without rice husk ash, 1 ton/ha of rice husk ash, 2 tons/ha of rice husk ash, 3 tons/ha of rice husk, 4 tons/ha ash rice husk ash, and 5 tons/ha of rice husk ash. Each treatment was repeated three times to obtain 18 trial plots in the field. Data of this study were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the administration of rice husk ash with various treatment doses, had a significant influence on the growth and yield of peanut plants. The treatment that has the best effect on the growth and yield of peanut plants has been found, which is an average of 3 tons/ha and 5 tons/ha.

The increase in market demand red spinach (Amaranthus Gangeticus) makes the prospects very promising less than optimal for the growth of red spinach (Amaranthus Gangeticus) because soil fertility is low so that the provision of organic material can improve soil fertility through the improvement of the physical, chemical, and biological soil so that it can support the growth of red spinach. This study aims to determine the dose of manure, the dosage of rice husk ash as well as the interaction of dosage that is optimal for the growth and yield of red spinach.this research was conducted experimental farm of the faculty of science and technology with a height of 28 meters above sea level Labuhanbatu district in March to October 2020. Research design using group factorial consisting of two factors. The first factor, namely the granting of cow manure (L) with three levels, namely : L0 = 0 ton/ha (control) L1 = 2 ton/ha, equivalent to 200 g/m2 (the recommended dose), L2 = 4 ton/ha, equivalent to 400 g/m2, L3 = 6 ton/ha, equivalent to 600 g/m2. The second factor, rice husk ash (A) consists of 4 levels, namely : A0 = 0 ton/ha (control), A1 = 1 ton/ha equivalent to 50 g/m2 (the recommended dose), A2 = 1.5 tons/ha, equivalent to 75 g/m2.The Parameters measured were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), Weight per Plant Sample (g). The results showed that the administration of cow manure 4 ton/ha, equivalent to 400 g/m2 can increase plant height, leaf number, and weight per Plant of amaranth red. The provision of 1.5 tons/ha, equivalent to 75 g/m2 can increase plant height, the number of leaves plant red spinach (Amaranthus Gangeticus).Keywords: Rice Husk Ash, Red Spinach, Cow Manure, Plant Growth

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of rice husk ash dosage and eggshell on thegrowth and yield of red chili, and obtain a treatment that gives the best results on fruit red chili plant.The experiment was arranged with Group Random Design (RAK) with factorial design with twofactors and three replications, factor I is dose rice husk ash consists of three levels ie A0: 0 g /plant,A1: 25 gr / plant, A2: 50 g / plant, G3: 75gr / plant. The second factor is the dose eggshell consists of3 levels ie: C0: 0 g / plant, W1: 15 gr / plant and W2: 30 gr / plant. The experiment will have 9combination treatment from those 2 factors. The resutls showed that the provision of rice husk ashgive the significant effect on height plant growth and the number of leaves, the best dose is theprovision of rice husk ash 50 gr / plant. Provision of eggshell give real effect on plant yield of redpepper that is the number of productive branches, number of fruits per plant and fruit weight cropwith the best dosage is 30 gr / plant.

       Lebak wetland is potential for cultivation of various types of vegetables, especially cayenne pepper. The problem in the land is an increase in the solubility of Al, Fe, Mn, and Cu which can poison plants. To overcome this problem, the effort that can be done is to provide organic material. This study aims to (i) determine the effect of dosages of rice husk ash on the growth and yield of cayenne in swamp lebak, (ii) obtain the best dosage of rice husk ash for growth and yield of cayenne pepper in swampy swampy soil. The study was conducted in Palampitan Hilir Village, Amuntai Tengah District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, from March - May 2010, this study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD), with 5 treatments and 4 replications, so that 20 experimental units were obtained, and 4 treatments. The factors tested were doses of rice husk ash, namely: p0 = 0 g. polybag -1, p1 = 24 g. polybag -1, p2 = 48 g. polybag -1, p3 = 72 g. polybag-1, and p4 = 96 g. polybag -1. The results showed that the treatment had a very significant effect on all plant variables observed with the best dose of rice husk ash for vegetative growth was p2 and that generative growth was p3.

       Eggplant is one of the vegetables favored by the community. Lebak wetland has the potential for eggplant vegetable cultivation, but the problem with the soil is the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil that are less favorable. Husk serves to loosen the soil so that it can facilitate plant roots to absorb nutrients. This study aims (i) to determine the growth response and yield of eggplant to various doses of rice husk ash in lebak wetland, (ii) to obtain the best dosage of rice husk ash for growth and yield of eggplant on lebak land. This research was conducted in Hambuku Tengah Village, Sungai Pandan Subdistrict, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency from February - May 2010, this study used a single randomized block design (RBD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications so that 20 experimental units were obtained, each trial unit contained 4 plant. The factor tested was the dose of perpolibag rice husk ash is a0 = 0 or control, a1 = 100 g, a2 = 200 g, a3 = 300 g, and a4 = 400 g. The results showed that giving of rice husk did not affect all variables observed and did not obtain the best dose of dosing treatment for rice husk ash

[GROWTH AND LETTUCE YIELD (Lactuca sativa L.) BY GIVING MANURE AND RICE HUSK ASH IN INCEPTISOL].  Increasing market demand for lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) makes the prospect of developing lettuce very promising. Bengkulu Province is dominated by inceptisol soil types which have low soil fertility, making it less optimal for lettuce growth. Giving organic matter can increase soil fertility through improving soil physical, chemical and biological properties so that it can support the growth of lettuce. This study aims to determine the dosage of manure, the dose of rice husk ash and the optimal dose interaction for lettuce growth and yield. This research was conducted from May 2018 to July 2018 in Medan Baru, Muara Bangkahulu Subdistrict, Bengkulu City. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors and repeated 3 times. The first factor is the dosage of cow manure with three levels, namely: 0 tons/ha, 15 tons/ha, and 30 tons/ha. The second factor is the dose of rice husk ash which consists of three levels, namely 0 tons/ha, 3 tons/ha, and 6 tons/ha. Data from the observations were analyzed statistically by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) using the F test at the level of 5%. To determine the dosage of manure, the dose of rice husk ash and the optimal combination of doses for growth and yield of lettuce used the Polynomial Orthogonal method. The results showed that there was no interaction between cow manure and rice husk ash on the growth and yield of lettuce. The effect of cow manure has not shown the optimum dose for growth and yield of lettuce. The addition of manure doses up to 30 tons/ha was able to increase the value of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, and fresh weighted plant weight of 0.189, 0.038, 0.931 and 0.104 respectively. Giving rice husk ash up to a dose of 6 tons/ha did not have a significant effect on all observed variables.

Basil is a spice plant that is widely used as a culinary additive, fragrance, atractan, and anti-bacterial because it produces essential oils, basil oil. This research aimed to identifying the affect of adding rice husk ash on different basil’s cultivars on growth and yield of basil (Ocimum basilicum). This research use 4 x 2 factorial experiment pattern with Completely Randomized Design consisting of 5 replication. The first treatment was various type of basil’s cultivars such as Genovese cultivars (K1) and Dark Opal cultivars (K2). The second treatment was doses of rice husk ash such as control or without giving rice husk ash (M0), 30 g/pot (M1), 35 g/pot (M2), dan 40 g/pot (M3).  The observed parameters were soil bulk density and porosity, plant height, leaves total, roots length, and leaves simplisia. The results showed that the application of husk ash can affect the increase in physical properties of the soil, but has not directly affected the growth parameters and yield of leaf simplisia. Dark Opal cultivars on all growth parameters showed higher yields, but Genovese cultivars showed higher yields or simplisia.

Abstract The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of organic waste application on some soil physical properties, growth and yield of red rice between conventional and aerobic irrigation systems on permanent raised-beds. The experiment was carried out in May to August 2020, under Split Plot design with two factors namely techniques of rice cultivation (conventional, T1; aerobic irrigation system, T2) as main plots, and organic wastes (L0=without organic waste, L1=rice husk, L2=rice husk ash, L3=rice husk ash and cattle manure) as the subplots. Results indicated that both treatment factors affected some physical properties of the soil, growth, and yield of red rice. Some variables showed significant interaction namely soil bulk density, red-rice height, leaf number and dry straw weight. Changing rice cultivation technique from conventional to aerobic irrigation system significantly reduced soil bulk density, especially under application of rice husk ash together with cattle manure or without cattle manure, resulting in the highest red rice grain yield of 37.78 g/clump whereas under conventional without organic wastes, grain yield was only 21.27 g/clump. On average, changing from conventional technique to aerobic irrigation system could increase red rice grain yield by 40.13%.
