The paper is devoted to history of childrens home 25 established in 1946 on the territory of the Kuibyshev Region. Children of Russian emigrants living in Austria were accommodated there. These children were transferred to representatives of the Soviet authorities by the American administration. Under the terms of the agreements between the USSR, the USA and Great Britain signed at the Yalta conference (1945) people with the Soviet nationality were transferred to the Soviet Union. Children of Russian emigrants born in Austria didnt belong to this category but despite it they were transferred to the Soviet Union. Local authorities didnt know what to do with repatriated children. That is why the childrens home was established in a remote rural area; life and material conditions of its inhabitants were heavy: there was no necessary furniture or school supplies. Its tutors and staff were in a more difficult situation. Some of them lost their jobs. Some children were returned to parents. Unfortunately, available documents do not allow tracking the future of the children from this childrens home.

Since its foundation in 1799, the Royal Institution of Great Britain has attracted talent and witnessed memorable events in science. The records of many of these events, as well as of the day to day institutional happenings have been preserved. The archives, manuscripts comprising note books, papers and correspondence, as well as the pictorial records, the scientific apparatus and the personal relics of the people who have worked and lived here together with an extensive library all provide a valuable resource for the historian of science.

Rudolf Wolf (1816-1893): Astronomer;, Research Organizer, Historian of Sciences Rudolf Wolf is remembered by the scientific comm unity above all as a pion eer of sun spots research. On the centennial anniversary of his death it is appropriate to review his other achievements, which have been wrongly neglected. Wolf organized various astronomical, geodetic and meteorological projects. For example, it ivas on his initiative that the Federal Observatory in Zurich, designed by the famous architect Gottfried Semper, was built. He taught at academic institutions m Berne and Zurich and developed the library of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, from its beginnings. His contributions to the history of science are still of interest today: Biographien zur Kulturgeschichte der Schweiz (4 vol., 1858-1862) ; Geschichte der Astronomie (Munich 1877, reprint 1965) ; Geschichte der Vermessungen in der Schweiz (1879) ; Handbuch der Astronomie, ihrer Geschichte und Literatur (2 vol., 1890—1893; reprints 1973).

Due to the fact that in 2020 the whole world celebrates the 175th anniversary of the birth of I.I. Mechnikov, in order to preserve and promote the spiritual culture of Slobozhanshchina and to create a chronicle of unknown pages of the history of our region that is the small motherland of the great scientist, a number of events have been held. At the initiative of Dvorichna Children and Youth Creativity Center in 2015 the museum “Our great countryman I.I. Mechnikov — the Citizen of the World “ was established and a strategic plan for its development was developed. In the process of researches a fund of museum objects and museum collections of historical and cultural content was created in accordance with the tasks set for the museum. The museum has almost 400 exhibits of the main fund. The museum offers tours for visitors of all ages. In recent years we have intensified cooperation with many higher education establishments. We are supported by scientists-followers of I.I. Mechnikov from Israel, the USA, France, Great Britain, Latvia by holding international Internet conferences. It has become a tradition to hold annual Mechnikov readings.

History of science (HoS), nature of science (NoS), and philosophy of science (PoS) are three fundamental concepts in science and physics education. Specifically, this research explored ten years of research of HoS based on the Scopus database through a bibliometric study. The findings indicated some points: the number of articles in 2011-2020 tended to be stable. Sears dominated research on HoS as the top author. Meanwhile, Isis, Science & Education, and Nature were the top sources of research. The USA was a dominant country in researching HoS, followed by UK and Germany. Paper from Tewksbury et al. in the Journal of Bioscience has gained the most citations. Researchers on the world produced four clusters: historian along centuries, HoS in relating to philosophy and nature of science, HoS in connecting with timeline each country along years, and HoS in relating to university and relevant project. The researchers have also offered an advanced research model related to HoS.
