The type of plastic packaging that is popular among the public is bottle packaging, plastic bottle packaging always has a bottle cap. Some people only know that the part of the bottle cap is only on the outer cap, even though the plastic bottle cap consists of two types, namely the outer cap (cap) and the inner cap (plug). The plastic material used to make the plug is Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), a telon oil plug is produced using an injection molding machine, by inserting plastic pellets into the hopper and then heating it by the barrel, plastic pellets that have melted will be injected into the mold ( print). In the process of making the telon oil plug, a defect was found. From the observation, it is known that several types of defects that occur during the LLDPE oil plug production process include black dot, flashing, and unmould / short shot. Defects that occur during the telon oil plug production process are caused by damage, contamination, and mismatches in the engine parameter settings. The purpose of this study is to determine the causes and solutions of defects that occur in LLDPE telon oil plugs with the HAITIAN 1600MA injection molding machine at PT X. Some solutions are made to reduce defects that occur in telon oil LLDPE plugs is to clean the material reservoir, repair or replace the mold, clean the hopper before loading the material, and set up the barrel parameter 180-230oC, inject pressure 60 bar, holding pressure 30 bar, speed 17.8 seconds.

Due to the problems of the traditional mixed injection molding production, such as unsatisfactory of the injection molding machine cylinder temperature control, the dispersed devices, the low automation degree and the lack of supervision for the whole production process, the production line of the mixed injection molding machine has been modified. The fuzzy self-adaptive PID control method is used to improve the temperature control accuracy and stability. Two sets of equipments of the injection molding machine have been communicated via the bus technology to realize automation production. And the computer monitoring system has been designed by VB technology to monitor the operating status and parameters of the entire production process. This transformation design can achieve to shorten production cycle, reduce labor costs and covering area, and also improve the production automation level and efficiency.

Quality is an important aspect in enhancing the competitiveness of the product. Quality's role is to give satisfaction to the customer and be able to compete with similar products. During of the production process there is a chance that the products are not produced in established standards. Products that not suitable with the specifications is a defect that would cause harm to the company. Trim Rear Quarter Right is a component of the APV Arena car which is each production of Trim Rear Quarter Right there are at least one or more defective products. This of course would lead to losses for the company. The method used in this case study is the six sigma method because this method has been proven effective. Defect in Trim Rear Quarter Right caused by five factors that is negligence of the operator in set up the machine, the age of the machine , the quality of the materials, the application of the method is not maximized and noisy environments. The set up process of injection molding machine is the most influential in causing the defect product with RPN (Risk Priority Number) value is 256.Keywords: Quality, Six Sigma,Trim Rear Quarter Right AbstrakKualitas merupakan aspek penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing produk. Perannya adalah memberikan kepuasan kepada pelanggan dan mampu bersaing dengan produk sejenis.Trim Rear Quarter Right merupakan komponen dari mobil APV Arena yangsetiap produksi Trim Rear Quarter Right ini setidaknya terdapat satu atau lebih produk cacat. Hal ini tentunya akan menyebabkan kerugian bagi perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi kasus ini yaitu metode six sigma karena metode ini sudah terbukti efektif. acat pada produk Trim Rear Quarter Right disebabkan oleh lima faktor yaitu: kelalaian operator dalam set up mesin , umur mesin, kualitas material, penerapan metode yang belum maksimal dan lingkungan yang berisik. Proses set up molding injection machine adalah proses paling berpengaruh dalam menyebabkan defect produk dengan nilai RPN (Risk Priority Number) sebesar 256.Kata kunci: Kualitas,Six Sigma, Trim Rear Quarter Right

Background: One of the most common manufacturing equipment for polymer product is injection molding machine. In order to ensure the precise, stable and continuous operation of the injection molding machine, the maintenance of the lubrication system must be done well. The stability, reliability, rationality and low noise performance of the lubrication system of injection molding machine directly affect the quality of injection products, dimensional accuracy, molding cycle, working environment and maintenance. Objective: The purpose of this study is to introduce the methods of choice, maintenance of lubricating oil for injection molding machine from many literatures and patents in the recent years, such as lubricating oil device, lubricating composite and structure. Methods: An example of the 260M5 automatic injection molding machine is introduced for the inspection and maintenance of the lubrication system including lubricating oil and lubricating grease. Results: To ensure the lubrication of the injection molding machine, it needs to strictly observe the lubrication time and modulus of the injection molding machine. It needs to strictly control the temperature rise of the lubricating oil and select the correct lubricating oil and grease to ensure the lubrication quality. Conclusion: In the operation of the injection molding machine, it is necessary to check that the lubricating oil is sufficient and the lubricating points are working properly. It ensures sufficient lubrication of the injection molding machine and strictly observes the lubrication time and modulus of the injection molding machine. The stored lubricating oil should be sealed well to prevent air pollution.

Abstract This paper presents a study of the characteristics of axial vibration of a screw in the filling process for a novel dynamic injection molding machine. By simplifying a generalized model of the injection screw, physical and mathematic models are established to describe the dynamic response of the axial vibration of a screw using the method of lumped-mass. The damping coefficient of the screw is calculated in the dynamic filling process. The amplitude-frequency characteristics are analyzed by the simulation and experimental test of polypropylene. The results show that the amplitude of a dynamic injection molding machine is not only is related to structure parameters of the screw and performance of the material, such as non-Newtonian index, but also depends on the processing parameters, such as vibration intensity and injection speed.

According to the all-electric injection molding machine control system requirements, the vector control applied to the permanent magnet synchronous motor control, we propose a fully electric injection molding machine control system design, through analysis and research that can further improve the program precise all-electric injection molding machine control, its stability, high reliability, to better meet the all-electric injection molding machine of precision and stability requirements.
