This study aims to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance which consists of the Audit Committee Size as Variable on the Company's Financial Performance which is calculated using Return On Assets. This study was conducted on Agricultural Sub Sektor companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. The number of samples is 9 companies with 5 years of financial reports. The method of analysis used in this study is a simple linear regression method. The results of this study indicate that Good Corporate Governance (Audit Committee Size) has a significant effect on Company Financial Performance (ROA) with value of tcount is 2.194 and ttable is 2.016, for sig. 0.034. And the value of R Square Good Corporate Governance on the Company's Financial Performance is 10.1% while 89.9% is influenced by other variables which are not discussed in this study.

This study aims to examine the effect of implementing good corporate governance as measured by an independent board of commissioners, board of directors, and audit committee on financial performance measured using Return of Equity (ROE). This research uses quantitative research. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in the basic and chemical industry sectors that consistently publish financial reports on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2018. Based on the purposive sampling method, a sample of 11 companies is obtained each year to obtain 33 observational data. The data in this study use warpPLS 6.0 software. The results of this study indicate that the independent board of commissioners, the board of directors affect the financial performance, while the audit committee has no effect on financial performance.

This study aims to examine the effect of good corporate governance mechanism on the financial performance of banking companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange 2012-2016 period. The corporate governance mechanism is proxied by the size of the board of directors, the size of the board of commissioners, audit committee size, the board of director's education, and the board of commissioner’s education. The company's financial performance is proxied by return on assets (ROA). Samples were taken by using purposive sampling. The total number of samples used in this study amounted to 180 research samples. This study was tested with SPSS 20 program. Data analysis technique used in this research is simple regression analysis.  The results showed that the size of the board of directors, the size of the board of commissioners, and audit comitee size have a significant effect on return on assets. These three factors have a significant effect on return on assets, while the board of commissioners education and the board of director's education have no significant effect on return on assets.

Financial performance as a benchmark for the success of the company's work in a certain period. Financial performance is also used as a basis for determining the company's strategy in the future. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of good corporate governance (board size), leverage (DER) and company size on financial performance (ROA). This study uses a population of 120 data from SOE companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2018. And produced a sample of 78 company data. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The research instrument in the form of documentation (taking company financial statements). Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression method. The results showed that the size of the board of directors had a positive effect on financial performance. The leverage variable has a negative effect on financial performance. While the size of the company has no effect on financial performance. The benefits of this study are as a reference for further research. Besides that, it can be used as a management guideline in analyzing the company's financial performance.

This study aims to examine the effect of Good Corporate Governance on Financial Performance at Islamic Banks. The independent variable in this study is Good Corporate Governance as measured by the board of directors, the independent board of commissioners, the islamic supervisory board and the audit committee. The population in this study were 11 Islamic commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research data was obtained from the annual report for 2015-2019. The results showed that the audit committee has an effect on financial performance as measured by return on assets, while the board of directors, independent commissioners, and islamic supervisory board has no effect on financial performance as measured by return on assets. Together the board of directors, independent commissioners, islamic supervisory board and audit committee have an effect on return on asset.

This study was conducted to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on Financial Performance and Company Value in State-Owned Corporation in Indonesia in the era of 4.0 and society 5.0. Research subjects are state-owned corporation listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2013-2017 period. The samples taken are 10 State-Owned Corporation (BUMN) that are included in the criteria. The method used to analyze the relationship between variables in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis test results show that the Independent Board of Commissioners and Audit Committee have an effect on the Return on Assets (ROA) with a significance value of 0.012. The results of testing the second hypothesis Independent commissioners and audit committees have no simultaneous effect on Company Values with a significance value of 0.082. Partially the independent Board of Commissioners has an effect on Return On Assets (ROA) and company value. While the second variable of the Audit Committee does not affect the Return on Assets (ROA) and company value.

The research aims to prove empirically the influence of Non-Performing Loans, Loans to Deposit Ratio, Good Corporate Governance, Net Interest Margin, and Capital Adequacy Ratio on financial performance of banking companies listed on the IDX. Agency theory and Productive theory of credit are the theories used in this study. The study population is all Banking Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2018 totaling 45 companies. The research sample of 30 companies with non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The research results obtained by Non Performing Loans are considered negative, Loan to Deposit Ratio and Good Corporate Governance are not approved and are significant, Net Interest Margin and Capital Adequacy Ratio have positive and significant effect on financial performance. ABSTRACT This reseach amied at knowing the influence of audit quality, propotion of independent commissioner, audit committe, firm size, managerial ownership and leverage. It used purposive sampling technique or choosing samples based on certain criteria. The sample of this research was 25 companies of banking industry in indonesia stock exchange period 2008-2012. Descriptive analysis, classical test, as well as multiple linear regression by examining the hypothesis using SPSS 20.0 were used to analyzed the data. The result shows that (1) all independent variables simultaneously hasinfluence on earnings management; (2) however partially audit committee, audit quality, managerial ownership and leverage do not affect significantly to earnings management; (3) only firm size and independent commissioner that affect significantly to earning management. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of the risk-based bank rating component as measured by non-performing loans, loan to deposit ratio, good corporate governance, return on assets and capital adequacy ratio on the value of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) Year 2013-2017. The research sample was selected using the nonprobability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique and obtained as many as 6 banking companies, so that the number of observations with a study period of 5 years was 30 observations. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that non-performing loans and loan to deposit ratios have a negative effect on the value of banking companies. Return on assets and capital adequacy ratio have a positive effect on the value of banking companies and good corporate governance does not affect the value of banking companies. This research aimed to determine whether the environmental performance and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) mechanisms, such as managerial ownership, institutional ownership, the proportion of independent commissioners had effects of the audit committee on measured financial performance by using Return on Equity (ROE). This research population was manufacturing company listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange that participated in PROPER 2012/2013 and 2013/2014. Based on the multiple regression analysis, audit committee partially had a significant effect on financial performance, while the others did not. Meanwhile, the analysis result shows that environmental performance and all GCG mechanisms simultaneously have significant effects on financial performance.

This study aims to analyze and examine the effect of fim’s characteristics, financial performance, and corporate governance on sustainability reporting. The research method uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study are State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014-2019 period. This study uses purposive sampling method and obtained 13 state-owned companies with 78 research samples for six years of observation. The data were tested using multiple linear regression method. The results of this study indicate that the variables of firm’s characteristics proxied by leverage, and corporate governance as proxied by independent commissioners and directors have a significant effect on sustainability reporting. While the variables of firm’s characteristics which are proxied by firm size and liquidity, financial performance variables which are proxied by profitability, and corporate governance variables which are proxied by institutional share ownership, and the audit committee have no significant effect on sustainability reporting. The results of this study can be used for decision making of various parties.
