This study aims to determine the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that influence students' motivation to complete their thesis by using self-efficacy variables, the need for achievement, campus environment, and lecturer learning methods to the motivation to complete their thesis at the Indonesian College of Economics. This research method is a questionnaire survey method. The population in this study were morning regular students and evening regular students of the Indonesian College of Economics who graduated in 2019 by 311 people and the study sample was 164 people. The analysis used is SEM- PLS and SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study indicate 3 variables that affect regular morning students: (1) Self-efficacy affects the motivation to complete a thesis of 29.1%. (2) The need for achievement influences the motivation to complete the thesis by 31.9%. (3) Campus environment towards motivation to complete the thesis is 37.5%. And there are 2 variables that affect regular night students: (1) The need for achievement influences the motivation to complete the thesis by 55.5%. (2) The campus environment influences the motivation to complete the thesis by 40.3%.

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the factors that influence entrepreneurial intentions among college student. The five independent variables was used include need for achievement, locus of control, self-efficacy, instrumental readiness, entrepreneurship experience. Sample in this research is students on Pattimura University totaling 160 people. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to measure this study. The results of this study indicate that need for achievement, locus of control, entrepreneurship experience have no effect on the intentions of entrepreneurial among students. Whereas instrumental readiness and self-efficacy variable has positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention between students of Pattimura University. Exigency, discipline and academic rigor: the teacher challenge today.Resumen Ante las abrumadoras demandas que se hacen en la actualidad al ejercicio docente y la poca correspondencia por parte de los estudiantes en relación a la exigencia académica que se les demanda, se hace necesario problematizar las nuevas tendencias en educación y la manera como éstas posiblemente pueden estar incidiendo en la desestimulación del desarrollo de habilidades memorísticas y argumentativas en los jóvenes, esta reflexión orienta su análisis no sólo hacia los factores que pueden estar limitando el rol del profesor, sino también a algunos factores intrínsecos de la juventud actual, que en suma, favorecen la disminución considerable de los niveles de exigencia, disciplina y rigor académico. En la primera sección se hace un comparativo generacional con relación a las algunas prácticas y métodos utilizados. En un segundo momento se analizan los factores intrínsecos y extrínsecos incidentes en el ejercicio docente y en la problemática que se convoca. En la tercer y última parte se abstraen algunos factores del lado del estudiante que se suman a la reflexión. Palabras clave: educación, profesor, estudiante, argumentación, memoria, planeación estratégica. AbstractConfronting the overwhelming demands that currently are claimed to the teaching practice and the low response from students to the required academic endeavor they are proposed, it is mandatory to formulate questions about new tendencies in education and the way they might be affecting the stimulation of the development of memory skills and argumentative reasoning in young people, this observation analyzes not only the factors probably limiting the roll of the teacher, but also some intrinsic elements of the current youth, factors that, briefly, favor the considerable decrease of the discipline and academic thoroughness levels. In the first section, a generational comparison integrating some practices and methodologies is developed. In a second moment, some intrinsic and extrinsic factors affecting the teaching process and the formulated proposals are analyzed. Finally, some factors taken from the student are contemplated to complete the analysis.Key words: education, teacher, student, argumentation, memory.

Abstrak:Profesi keguruan (pendidik) merupakan profesi yang banyak diminati oleh sebagian masyarakat kita di tengah tuntutan terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan guru (pendidik). Hal itu juga berimplikasi terhadap efikasi diri mahasiswa dalam mempersiapkan diri untuk memilih profesi keguruan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana pengaruh efikasi diri mahasiswa terhadap motivasi mahasiswa dalam memilih profesi keguruan pada mahasiswa PGSD semester akhir FIP-UMJ. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survai dengan pendekatan regresi-korelasi. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa PGSD semester akhir FIP UMJ dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh efikasi diri mahasiswa terhadap motivasi mahasiswa menjadi guru dengan nilai korelasi 0,525 dan determinasi 27,5% yang artinya kontribusi efikasi diri terhadap motivasimahasiswa menjadi guru dapat dijelaskan sebesar 27,5% sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.Kata Kunci: Efikasi diri, motivasi mahasiswa, profesi guru.Abstract: Teaching profession (educators) is a profession that is highly demanded by a part of community whilst the demands on improving teachers’ welfare (educators). It also has implications for self-efficacy in preparing students to choose the teaching profession. This study aims to examining the extent of students self-efficacy influence to student motivation in choosing teaching profession at the end of the semester students PGSD FIP-UMJ. The method used is a survey method with regression-correlation approach. The research population is the entire student population at PGSD final semester FIP UMJ by using simple random sampling technique. The results showed that there is an influence of student self-efficacy on the motivation of students in being teachers with a value of 0.525 and determination correlation 27.5% which means that the contribution of self-efficacy to motivate students to be teachers can be explained by 27.5% while the rests are influenced by other variables.Keywords: Self-efficacy, student motivation , professional teacher.
