Purpose: This research focused on the influence of top management support on procurement regulatory compliance level in public universities in Kenya.  Methodology: The study used Ex-post facto design, the research design was chosen because the study aimed at investigating the causal relationship on variables, which cannot be controlled by the researcher. The researcher applied the census sampling technique to select the sample size of 31 public universities and 333 respondents. The study was informed by the Principal-Agent Theory. Primary data was collected through the use of questionnaires issued to the procurement staffs in the sampled universities. This study undertook a census because the sample size was small. Data collected from the field was coded and cleaned to remove outliers or missing values and categorized manually according to the questionnaire items using frequency distribution tables and percentages. The researcher used both descriptive and inferential statistics with the help of statistical package of Social Science (SPSS) version 24 to analyze the data.Findings: Top management was found to be satisfactory significant in contribution as a factor to procurement regulatory compliance level. The p value 0.000 was less than the conventional probability of 0.05 at a testing at 95% level of significance. Motivation and rewards to staff can be used as a strategy to combat the personal interest that arise in preference to fulfill their duties and assignments. Management acts as the framework to the functionality of the procurement department and activities thereof. Top management making efforts on motivating the staff individually leads to an exemplary performance.Unique contribution to theory, policy and practice: Deficient checking and assessment of the functioning in an organization is connected to the non-attendance to a controllable situation. The existing hindrances from the top management for the staffs to engage and enhance adoption and application of total quality management in procurement should be eradicated. Disciplinary steps should be taken on staff with unbecoming behaviors in effort to uphold ethical practice. There should be freedom of staff to discharge their duties as assigned to them by the top management

This study is to identify the extent of interest and convinced top management of hotels and application levels of Total Quality Management, as well as prepare and accept the application of Total Quality Management, and indicate the top management support for the application of Total Quality Management And applying this to a sample of employees in high level management for a group of first-class hotels operating in the city of Riyadh, the study finds that the hotels surveyed apply total quality management in all its dimensions and a high level As results indicated when asked the sample of what considerations affecting about their conviction and willingness applying total quality management results were approved college about the need for a system of incentives appropriately lead to improved process quality tourism, and improve the competitive position of the hotels. When asked the sample over the impact of work teams the answers are as follows It is considered The study also concluded a set of recommendations and which ones need to find the appropriate information system will provide hotel management and Forums all the supporting data and information to activate the principle of making decisions based on facts and correct information that the formation of a team work helps to solve various problems.

As a result of increasing competition, organizations have realised the importance of its human capital in bringing about continuous improvement in quality in order to secure increased customer satisfaction and loyalty as well as sustainable development. Strategic approaches frequently, though not always successfully, adopted in a TQM environment include teamwork, management support and training. Hence, this study aims to assess managerial perceptions of the importance of teamwork, continuous top management support and training in bringing about TQM. Biographical influences on these managerial perceptions are also assessed. A sample of 202 managers (middle, senior, top) was drawn using a stratified random sampling technique. Data was collected using a pre-coded, selfdeveloped questionnaire whose psychometric properties were assessed using Factor Analysis and Cronbach’s Coefficient Alpha respectively. Data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings reflect that in this organization, the focus in bringing about total quality management is on continuous top management support, followed by continuous training and learning and lastly, teams and teamwork. These dimensions also significantly inter-correlate with each other. Biographical influences were also noted in terms of position, qualifications and gender. Based on the results, recommendations are presented for enhancing team performance, managerial support and training in efforts to bring about TQM.

This study aims to learn the effect of the Total Quality Management dimensions, Top Management Support, Customer Focus, Process Management, Employees Participation, Employees' Empowerment, and Continuous Improvement, on financial performance by moderating organizational culture. The study population includes nine transport companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange until the end of 2019. Alia Company and Royal Jordanian Airlines were excluded since its financial data formed extreme values when compared with the values of the rest of the companies. The study uses Multiple Linear Regression to test the hypotheses. The study found a statistically significant effect at the level of significance (α < 0.05) for both top management support, customer focus, employees’ participation and empowerment, by moderating the organizational culture on financial performance measured by return on asset for the Jordanian transport companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange. In light of the statistical results, the study presented several recommendations, the most important of which was to increase the top management interest in cultivating a profound organizational culture towards learning, development, mastering performance and improving the quality of its services to attract customers, and distinguish the organization from other organizations, in a way that reflects positively on developing its financial performance.

The use of Accounting Information System (AIS) is very helpful in accommodating all the information needed to make an accurate decision. Indicators in determining the good and bad performance of an information system can be seen through AIS user satisfaction and usage. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of top management support, system quality and information quality on AIS user satisfaction. The sample selection method used was purposive sampling. The research sample was 147 people consisting of administrators, loan officers and savings at 29 Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD) in Ubud Subdistrict. The data in this study is primary data which is the answer from the questionnaire. The regression results show that all variables have a significance of 0,000. It shows that top management support, system quality and information quality have positive influences on Accounting Information System user satisfaction.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have become vital strategic tools in today’s competitive business environment. Implementation of ERP systems is a highly complex process which is influenced not only by technical, but also by other factors. The purpose of this research to find out factors influencing the success of ERP implementations in companies in Jabodetabek. In this research three factors of success implementation ERP were selected on the bases of previous research that includes top management support, project management and user involvement. The results indicate that top management support and project management are key factors affecting the success of ERP implementations, while user involvement does not affect the success of ERP implementations. Top management support, project management and user involvement affect the success rate of 72.7% of ERP implementations. While the rest equal to 27.3% influenced by other variables not included in this research model. Keywords: Enterprise Resource Planning, Top management support, project management, user involvement

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyze e-procurement in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and its relationship with top management support, IT obstacles and strategic purchasing and the effect of e-procurement on performance (procurement performance and business performance). Design/methodology/approach The hypotheses were tested using a sample of 199 managers from SMEs in manufacturing. Findings The results indicated a significant relationship between e-procurement in SMEs and top management support, IT obstacles and strategic purchasing. Similarly, the authors found a positive relationship between e-procurement and procurement process performance and business performance. Practical implications The findings stress to SME managers, the need to pay attention to top management support, IT obstacles and strategic purchasing when implementing e-procurement. Similarly, it provides evidence of the benefits of e-procurement on procurement process performance and business performance. Originality/value This study fills a gap in the literature regarding e-procurement in SMEs and its impact on performance. SMEs constitute a significant part of today’s economies and e-procurement can significantly impact the performance of these organizations.

This study examines the determinants of the effectiveness of internal auditors at the Office of the Inspectorate of North Maluku. Specifically, this study tests; influence of professional expertise, quality of work, independence, perceived career path and top management influence of internal auditor on the effectiveness of internal audit. Analysis was conducted by using multiple regression analysis from 43 respondents. The results showed that; Professional expertise, quality of work, independence and career path affect the effectiveness of internal audit while top management support does not influence the effectiveness of internal audit.
