BACKGROUND Although the elderly have more time and exercise opportunities compared to other age groups, they tend to be inactive and passive towards exercise, resulting in low actual exercise rates. Furthermore, simple repetitive exercise programs fail to engage the elderly to continuously exercise because these programs do not induce their interest or meet their expectations. Meanwhile, information and communication technology (ICT)-based training devices for elderly care related to dementia are being developed to enhance the cognitive functions of elder adults. For elder adults who require bicycle training devices can not only improve muscle strength and balance of lower limbs by continuously contracting and relaxing lower-limb muscles but also improve cognitive function to help prevent dementia. OBJECTIVE This study was conducted to investigate the effects of an information and communication technology (ICT)-based multi-cognition program on body composition and cognitive function in elder adults. METHODS In a randomized controlled intervention test on 20 people over the age of 60 (exercise group: n = 10; control: n = 10), the multi-cognition program was applied on the exercise group twice per week, once per day for 12 weeks, at 30 min per session, whereas the control group was advised to maintain their usual daily activities. RESULTS A comparison of changes in body composition and cognitive function before and after intervention exhibited statistically significant differences in skeletal muscle mass (P=.01) and modified Alzheimer’s disease assessment scale–cognitive score (P=.01) between the two groups. CONCLUSIONS It can be difficult to be engaged in a simple repetitive exercise program. Therefore, to meet the interest and expectations of elder adults, a customized ICT-based multi-cognition program, which can improve body composition and cognitive function in elder adults and is believed to be helpful in the prevention of dementia, is recommended. The development of information and communication technology (ICT) is making daily life more convenient by allowing access to information at anytime and anywhere and by improving the efficiency of organizations. Unfortunately, malicious code is also proliferating and becoming increasingly complex and sophisticated. In fact, even novices can now easily create it using hacking tools, which is causing it to increase and spread exponentially. It has become difficult for humans to respond to such a surge. As a result, many studies have pursued methods to automatically analyze and classify malicious code. There are currently two methods for analyzing it: a dynamic analysis method that executes the program directly and confirms the execution result, and a static analysis method that analyzes the program without executing it. This paper proposes a static analysis automation technique for malicious code that uses machine learning. This classification system was designed by combining a method for classifying malicious code using a portable executable (PE) structure and a method for classifying it using a PE structure. The system has 98.77% accuracy when classifying normal and malicious files. The proposed system can be used to classify various types of malware from PE files to shell code.

AbstractSituations like the COVID-19 pandemic urgently require the implementation of eHealth for vulnerable patient populations. Here we quantitatively evaluate use and potential of modern information and communication technology (ICT) in solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients. We conducted a structured, questionnaire-based, cross-sectional study that was addressed to patients after kidney, liver, pancreas, or combined transplantation. We focused on: sociodemographic data, present use of digital technologies in daily life and for health reasons, patients’ eHealth literacy, and their overall attitude towards eHealth. A total of 234 patients completed the questionnaire. Most of the patients (90%) have a web-enabled computer, 78.2% have a smartphone, and 71.8% regularly search the internet for health-related information. Sixty-eight percent would like to receive discharge summaries online, and 54% would like to chat online with their physicians. Even though ICT use in daily life was age-related, no significant difference could be shown for health reasons or the type of transplanted organ. Modern ICT use is predominantly accepted for health reasons by SOT recipients. Regardless of the transplanted organ, a deeper integration of eHealth has potential for improving cross-sectoral care. To successfully implement eHealth technologies in cross-sectoral care future research should include online physician–patient communication, data security, data safety, and the aspects of quality and safety of care.

The use of technologies is more common in daily life; working with technologies might be associated with positive experiences such as flow. However, there is little empirical research on flow experiences in technology settings. The main aim of this study was to confirm the three-dimensional construct of flow, i.e., absorption, enjoyment, and intrinsic interest, among 517 Information and Communication Technology users [234 students whose mean age was 23 yr. ( SD = 3.8)] from different areas of study, mainly Law, Public Administration, Chemistry, and Psychology, and 283 employees [whose mean age was 33 yr. ( SD = 7.8)] of 21 different companies from various sectors of production, namely, public administration, industrial production, and services. Analysis showed, as expected, flow is a three-dimensional psychological construct and invariant among samples of technology users. Practical and theoretical implications as well as further research are discussed.

Abstract The development of information and communication technology (ICT) at this time cannot be avoided by various parties. This development has positive and negative impacts on human life. However, these impacts can be managed by humans themselves such as by studying and utilizing these developments in daily life, there will be many positive impacts felt, one of which facilitates the search and dissemination of information, as well as accelerating and facilitating work. However, in reality, utilizing ICT in daily life in accordance with the work of each individual has not been fully implemented. Therefore, this research was carried out with the aim to find out the profile of the use of ICT by Menelik in the Cimahi city education department. The instrument used was a questionnaire that was developed in accordance with ICT literacy level indicators. The results of his research show that the use of ICT by the Penilik in the Cimahi city education office is in the medium category or can be interpreted quite wellKeywords:  penilik, literacy, ICT  Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) pada saat ini tidak dapat dihindari oleh berbagai pihak.
