Abstract. Aiming at the quality problems of the land cover classification data, such as missing update of changed spots, overrun of spot collection accuracy, incorrect spot classification, and inconsistencies between the filling of the change types of map spots and technical regulations, had been found during the quality inspection of the national geographic condition monitoring in China. This paper analyzed the key production factors, processes and causes that affect the process quality of the land cover classification data, and proposed the concept of the whole production quality control, and discussed the quality control measures to improve the land cover classification product. The research based on the new requirements of the whole-process quality control system in order to solve the quality problem-oriented production quality control method, could improve the quality of land cover classification product and provided reference for the quality control of the production process of related engineering projects in the future.

Moderate Heat Portland Cement is not only frequently-used cement for dam but also one of the largest amount of special cement as a main cementitious materials of concrete in hydraulic structure in China. Due to the high quality requirement and the complicated technology in the construction of dam, a series of measures are adopted to control the production quality of Moderate Heat Portland Cement used in the dam construction. In this paper, the measures of production quality control of the Moderate Heat Portland Cement are introduced, including controlling the raw materials such as the cement raw meal, fuel, clinker and gypsum, managing the discharge from the mill and the entrance test, which ensure that the various targets of physical and mechanical indexes are in accordance with the standard requirement. Moreover, the engineering quality of Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) for the dam is effectively guaranteed through the lower pot temperature and the less hydration heat. The construction experience is available for the like-kind engineering interiorly.

Third-generation sequencing using nanopores as biosensors has recently emerged as a strategy capable to overcome next-generation sequencing drawbacks and pitfalls. Assessing the quality of the data produced by nanopore sequencing platforms is essential to decide how useful these may be in making biological discoveries. Here, we briefly contextualized NanoR, a quality control method for nanopore sequencing data we developed, in the scenario of preexistent similar tools. We also illustrated 2 quality control pipelines, readily applicable to nanopore sequencing data, respectively, based on NanoR and PyPore, a second quality control method published by our group.

Abstract This study aims to propose a quality control method for digitized versions of manuscript documents that will be relevant for paleographical and codicological analysis. The methodology applied consisted of a systematic review of papers related to automated analysis of the physical characteristics of handwritings and document supports in the field of digital paleography, as well as of the numerous standards that have been emerging in the field of image engineering for quality assessment in digital image recordings. We also worked with a sample of 275 digital representations of pages or double pages of manuscript documentation dating to between the 12th and 17th centuries. As a result of this study, we propose a taxonomy of physical attributes of the handwritings and of their documentary supports that must be represented in the digital image with a high level of fidelity and without any distortions that could lead scholars to erroneous interpretations of the physical and formal characteristics of the original documents. On the basis of this taxonomy, we identified a set of typical distortions caused by digitization processes that can affect the recording quality of the physical attributes previously proposed, as well as a set of parameters and metrics for measuring quality that can be used to create a sufficiently exhaustive quality model. We also detected a series of limitations which, if not properly managed, can compromise the effectiveness of these types of controls.

Abstract. As one of the critical products National Geographic Conditions Monitoring Achievements (NGCMA), land cover dataset has great value for the practical needs of China natural resources investigation and monitoring. For providing This paper proposed a fuzzy-AHP synthesis model, for assessing the quality of land cover classification products, based on the current qualifications of inspection and acceptance as well the characteristics of the inspection process of this type of results. The model is practiced on a data set that is the inspection results from 27 surveying areas in northern China. By comparing the results to the results from minimum method (MinM) and weighted average methods (WAM), this study pay attention on giving the analysing of the reasonability and feasibility of this model on practical uses and to provide a technical reference for quality evaluation of the new-type of fundamental surveying and mapping products.

There are currently various algorithms with mass spectrometry in phosphorylation identification. Some quality control methods have also been proposed. However, a detailed comparative analysis among various methods has not been reported. In the paper, based on the theory of forward-reverse databases searching, we compare current major algorithms in database searching and identification i.e Mascot and Sequest, and compare various aspects and methods of algorithms in site assessment. We propose an effictive quality control method. Our result shows that this method can ensure the quality of identification and identify more phosphorylation sites.

According to the monitoring requirements of the national grid, geometry size detection program and detection methods of tower materials are determined, based on the demands of the engineering and field measurement. Digital Caliper and Portable Three-coordinate Measuring Machine are further chosen as the measuring equipment. By the research of quality control method, geometry size data of tower materials are analyzed by histogram and Xbar-R chart. Geometry size detection of tower materials and quality control system's framework and module are preliminarily designed. Ultimately, it can provide the theory basis for that the national grid to realize the monitoring and information system management of the purchase quality of tower materials.

With rapid development of science, technology and economy, requirements of production quality control were more and more stringent. A new method to solver the problem was given in this paper. First we made up the index system of production quality control. Second the steps of the DEA-Benchmark model which was derived from deviation DEA model were put forward. At last, applying the model, we measured the quality of ten varieties of production.

One of the keys to a company's success is quality control. PT Artha Food is a manufacturing industry engaged in the processing of cocoa powder trying to improve the quality of its products for customer satisfaction in accordance with the mission of the company, which is to become a world-class company focused on creating added value for consumers. But with the increase in company productivity, consumer complaints are also increasing. The biggest factor of consumer complaints is broken product when sent to the consumer. This resulted in increasing the return of products from consumers resulting in losses for the company because the rejeck product increases. The company will seek to minimize the return from consumers with existing resources so that consumer confidence increases and decreases the rejeck product. In this study, the method used in the quality control of product defects is the quality control circle used to analyze the damaged product. The method is integrated with quality loss fuction to know the producer loss factor By improving the quality with the quality control method circle the average broken product can be minimized from 295.45 kg / month before the improvement to 50 kg / month after the repair process.
