This study aims to investigate the mixing time of the side-entry mixer tank and the influence of the propeller's rotational speed on mixing time by the Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) method. The tank's model is a flat-bottom cylinder tank whose diameter is 40 cm with a 6 cm propeller contains three blades. The tracer, HCL 37%, was injected on the water's surface while the propeller's rotation speed is varied 100 rpm, 200 rpm, 300 rpm, and 400 rpm. The simulation process is examined using CFD FLUENT 17.1, with a turbulence model is k-ɛ RNG. Its conditions are single-phase then proceeded using species transport. Furthermore, the monitoring point's simulation is identical to the experimental data monitoring probe, which is used to inspect the mass fraction at each point. After all, this simulation contains three processes: pre-processing, solving, and post-processing. as a result, the propeller's higher rotational speed makes the mixing time shorter in the CFD method, which has a good agreement with the experimental method. Moreover, this study also examines the impact of the grid's type and the geometric size for the mixing process in the side-entry mixer tank.

Vehicle Routing Problem with Drone (VRPD) is a problem of determining the number of routes for delivery of goods from the depot to a number of customers using trucks and drones. Drones are an alternative delivery tool besides trucks, each truck can be equipped with a support drone. Drones can be used to make a delivery while the truck is making others. By combining a truck and a drone, the truck can act as a tool for drone launch and landing so that the drones can reach long distances from the depot. The purpose of this problem is to minimize the cost of sending goods by trucks and drones. In this study, the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and the Simulated Annealing (SA) are proposed to solve these problems. The Route Drone algorithm are used to help change the structure of the PSO and SA solutions into a VRPD solution. The proposed algorithm has been applied to 24 different scenarios ranging from 6 customers to 100 customers. The PSO and SA algorithms are able to find solutions that are close to optimal. The SA is able to find a better solution than the PSO.

In advance, the lean concept was used and applicated for big manufacturing industry. However, the lean concept used widely for all kinds of industry in the world. The improvement practice as lean and JIT also used for small industry (SMEs) in any countries which have implemented lean. The SMEs which have implemented lean showed any improvement, as the increasing of efficiency and flexibility, clear of communication and close with the Customers so the response and feedback are quicker and the costs are lower. The lean assessment tools used to value the effectiveness and the efficiency from lean implementation in the certain industry. The development of lean assessment tool for SMEs done by considering the difference between SMEs characteristic with industry a big scale. Have been many studies development of lean assessment to measure lean implementation in manufacturing industry and service generally without considered the size of his industry. However there are just a few development of lean assessment tools study that specific to measure the implementation lean manufacturing on SMEs. Therefore, this study aims to collect and compare the dimensions and indicators of the Lean Assessment Tool from several countries that are suitable for use in manufacture SMEs in Indonesia.

Food traceability has an important role in maintaining the sustainability of the food supply chain. Every player in a food supply chain must be able to create an internal and external traceability so that the chain traceability can be formed. However, building a suitable food traceability system is not an easy task. The development of a food traceability system has been identified as a complex problem due to the difficulty of accommodating the varied characteristics of each stage in the food supply chain and the interdependence between stages in the food supply chain. Therefore, to solve these complex problems a multimethodology approach is proposed. The multimethodology approach is believed to be able to solve complex multidimensional problems. This article describes a framework for multimethodology in the development of a food traceability system that involves the integration of the Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory and Interpretive Structural Modeling (DEMATEL-ISM) and System Dynamics (SD). The vegetable oil industry which manages its products in bulk is an interesting case study for the development of a food traceability system because the upstream is in the commodity focused chain and the downstream is in the consumer driven value chain. Ultimately, the multi-methodological framework proved effective in answering the research question of "How to develop a suitable traceability system for the bulk vegetable oil industry?"

In the industrial environment, there are more and more rooms that are rented out for workers and families, and the cupboard is one of the products that is often needed is a cupboard. Storage aids should be designed for safe, comfortable, ergonomic, and aesthetic use. Multi-functional wardrobes are an important aspect of storage and space-saving work. Multi-functional wardrobe designs have developed, both in terms of form and function. However, along with the development of the times, there are demands for additional functions from existing multi-functional cabinets. Based on this background, this study aims to design and manufacture multi-functional wardrobe products according to consumers' requirements. For this research's success, the Kano method and the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) are used. The results obtained show 18 attributes (customer requirements) and 18 attributes (technical response) technical parameters implemented in a multi-functional wardrobe product design. The addition of functions to this multi-functional wardrobe product is a wardrobe with 2 (two) functions and 1 (accessories) additional in one product, which can be used as a cupboard, table, and table along with a chair. In operation, it is effortless because it has a knock-down system (can be folded). When used as a table, there are chairs on the right and left sides of the cabinet door that can be removed.

PT. Z is a company engaged in the plastic bag industry. The company produces plastic bags, one of which is a type of ATP 12 x 24 that is often used as plastic wrapping meatballs, sugar and others. A company is certainly required to provide the best quality on its products. To meet the needs and expectations of consumers for the quality of products, the company must improve the quality of existing products. Six sigma is a quality tool that can be used to analyze and process data to maintain or improve the quality of a product based on the process. One of the shorts used in the six sigma method is Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control ( DMAIC). This research focuses on the results of product defects produced for 5 months in 2019. Because of the process analyzed there is data of proportions that are out of control in july and november. So that the data is omitted so that the data can be controlled. The sigma production level of ATP 12 x 24 is currently at the level of 4 sigma so it is necessary to improve to reach the level of 6 sigma. Pareto diagrams and fishbone diagrams can be used as tools to analyze significant factors causing product defects. And it can be known that the causative factor that can be done repair is deflated.

Raw material inventory control is used to place orders and ensure that shrimp raw materials arrive in a timely manner in accordance with consumer demand. This will expedite the course of the production process. This research was conducted at PT. Grahamakmur Ciptapratama Sidoarjo with the aim of knowing and analyzing the control of raw red ginger in frozen shrimp products. The method used is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) Method with the Lot For Lot (LFL) Technique. In addition, safety stock analysis, Maximum Inventory, warehouse capacity and Reorder Point analysis were carried out. The results of the study showed that inventory costs using the EOQ technique were lower than the company method or using the LFL technique. The EOQ technique produces an inventory cost of IDR 292,591.00 in 2017 with an order frequency of 105 times and in 2018 of IDR 289,750.00 with a booking frequency of 116 times. In the LFL technique inventory costs are more expensive, but the planning technique in the LFL method can be applied by companies in anticipation of raw material inventory if there is a small inventory. If the company applies the EOQ method, the company purchases raw materials in a larger amount, but the warehouse capacity in the company can still be met, this can be seen from the calculation of Maximum Inventory and warehouse capacity.

Factors that influence the amount of material handling costs are the distance of material movement, methods, and tools (equipment) used. The distance of material movement is strongly influenced by the layout of the production facility. The new layout design using the SLP method is expected to reduce the distance of material or product movement in PT. A B C. From the analysis results obtained the total distance of material transfer at the initial layout of the production process at PT. ABC of 1761 meters / month with material handling costs of Rp. 315,390,000.00 / month. Then an analysis of the use of material transport equipment results in the replacement of a crane with a sloping plane to connect the production machine. So the cost of material handling using the inclined plane becomes Rp. 0. The use of sloping fields can only be used on certain production machines. By using the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method, there are 3 alternative layouts produced. The most optimal alternative layout is alternative layout 3 with monthly material handling cost savings of Rp. 68,100,000.00 or 21% of the initial material handling layout cost.
