How to train embedded software development talents that can meet the demands of embedded system companies is a very important task to the computer majors of colleges and universities. Some efficacious measures are given in this paper. These measures include infiltrating embedded software developing ideas and knowledge to existed related computer major courses such as computer operation system, data structure and the principles of computer composition, offering specialized embedded software developing course, studying and researching open source embedded operating system software, and introducing students to participate in embedded software developing course design and application project. Our practical teaching results proved they are very helpful to improve students’ embedded software design ability.

The current product of fingerprint attendance systems offer minimal, nonflexible and costly system. With an increasing awareness of efficiency of fingerprint attendance system, the implementation of portable fingerprint attendance system has gain interest. The implementation is achieved using a combination of hardware and software development. A Motorola handphone model Atrix 4G is being used as a hardware device while software development is based on the Android operating system. Software called Eclipse is used for the development of android application which based on the Java script language. In this paper, the result of the system were shown sequentially, demonstrating that the system able to run safely and efficient in any real-time conditions.

A complete set of RFID system is composed of two parts by Reader and Transponder grounds of the action principle Reader launch of unlimited radio waves of a specific frequency energy to Transponder, to drive Transponder circuit ID Code sent internally. Part of the embedded system software is including the operating system software (requires real-time and multi-tasking operation) and application programming. The operating system controls the application programming and hardware interaction, and the application to control the operation and behavior of the system. The paper presents the application of RFID technology in development embedded systems. The experiment shows RFID is superior to ARM in building embedded system.

Perangkat lunak komputer merupakan sebuah program komputer yang menjembatani pengguna komputer dan perangkat keras yang digunakannya. Dengan kata lain perangkat lunak merupakan penerjemah antara manusia sebagai orang yang memberi instruksi dan komputer sebagai pihak yang menerima instruksi. Perangkat lunak memang tidak tampak secara fisik dan tidak berwujud benda namun bisa untuk dioperasikan. Perangkat lunak secara garis besar software atau perangkat lunak dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga bagian yaitu, perangkat lunak sistem operasi, perangkat lunak sistem aplikasi dan bahasa pemograman.Kata kunci : Perangkat Lunak KomputerAbstractComputer software is a computer program that bridges computer users and the hardware they use. In other words software is a translator between humans as the person who gives instructions and the computer as the party who receives instructions. The software does not appear physically and is not tangible but can be operated. Software outline software or software can be classified into three parts, namely, operating system software, application system software and programming languages.
