The purpose of this study is to explore the types of instructional communication between general teacher (GT) and ADHD students (SwADHD) during activities of the: pre-instructional, instructional process, and instructional evaluation. Data collection was carried out by observation and interviews. The data analysis used was thematic analysis. The results showed that the types of instructional communication between GT and SwADHD were: verbal, non-verbal, and verbal-non-verbal. The three types of instructional communication aim to: improve the socio-emotional relationship between GT and SwADHDs, reduce negative behavior that often appears in SwADHDs in the classroom, and improve quality of instruction; to achieve quality educational goals according to their characteristics and needs. The type of communication used between GT and SwADHDs has a significant impact on teachers in developing individual education programs. These result in a more humane experience for SwADHDs both academically and non-academically.

This study aims to analyze and understand the training and development program carried out by SMP YAMIS Jakarta in improving the quality of its human resources. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The data collection technique is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is done through data presentation, data reduction, and concluding. The results showed that the training and development program carried out by SMP YAMIS Jakarta in improving the quality of its human resources was through the Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP) activities which were carried out periodically by the existing schedule, involving teachers in seminars on learning methods that creative, innovative and fun, holding independent training in schools by inviting resource persons who are experts in the field, and programmed supervision carried out by school principals to employees regarding the achievement of planned educational goals.

Receiving a ‘W’ for a class withdrawal differs from earning a grade of ‘D’ or ‘F,’ yet studies typically combine these elements. This study focuses on the ‘W’: 1) to urge teacher-scholars to investigate its importance and 2) scholarly teachers to engage in methods that may avert student withdrawals as well as to facilitate students to make more informed decisions before taking a ‘W.’ The article addresses the scant literature on the ‘W’ to re-contextualize a student’s decision to withdraw from a course in the broader student success literature. Studies of retention, persistence, and completion of higher educational goals widely recognize both academic and non-cognitive influences that may move a student to withdraw from college. Results of the authors’ case study presented here suggest parallels in student decisions to withdraw from a course, hoping to raise awareness within the scholarship of teaching community of the need to probe this topic, in view of in their wisdom for teaching and learning their passion to educate students for a better quality of life and work.

<pre>Simultaneous bilingual education of a child is a dynamic process. Construction of linguistic competences undeniably depends on the conditions of the linguistic environment of the child. This education in a monolingual family, requires the practice of parenting tactics to increase the frequency of the language use in minority, during which, code-switching prevents child from keeping the monolingual rhythm in the minority language. This case-study focuses on a 41 month-old girl whose only interactive source for the second language, i.e., French, is her non-native mother, since birth; Persian is the dominant social language. Seeking to promote language acquisition by offering several opportunities for the weaker language, “animation”, accessible in every house, is introduced as an audio-visual educational tool. This paper experiments the application of a parental method to see if this passive tool can be used to create interaction and communication, how effective can such a document be on child language development while limiting code-switching and minimal level of expression and thus analyzing language learning of a child being exposed to two languages in a monolingual social environment. This research aims to prove the effectiveness of cartoon as an educational tool in improving the quality of a minority language acquisition by designing age-adapted activities that have been tested earlier to educational goals by the mother-researcher on primary school children. All sessions of this experiment were subjected to an audio recording which allows meticulous observation and data evaluation.</pre>

The main focus which discus in this research is how thesupervision is carried out by the principal as a supervisor. The principal’sleadership function is to carry out school management and guidancethrough administration, management and leadership activities that arehighly dependent on their abilities. The method used is a case study becauseit is to maintain the integrity of the system in a routine program. Thepurpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the principal’sleadership as a supervisor in supervising teacher performance. Based onthe analysis conducted concluded as follows. (1) The principal’s supervisionof teachers in primary schools has a very strategic role in determiningpolicies and improving the quality of learning processes towards achievingthe expected goals. (2) The principal is the school leader who regulates anddetermines administrative functions including the supervision function(supervision) individually or in groups, (3) In addition to the principal, theteacher also has a very decisive role in achieving the educational goals

The article is devoted to the substantiation of the methodology for studying the conditions for the formation of students ‘ subjectivity and the development of its qualitative characteristics in various forms of organization of project activities in the educational space of the University. The problem of substantiating the methodology for studying the conditions for the formation and development of the quality of student subjectivity in the educational space of the University is revealed through the formulation and resolution of research questions caused by: – activity bases for determining subjectivity, conditions for its manifestation and development; – using methods of psychological research of subjectivity based on reflection by subjects of various aspects of personal participation in activities (motives, values, activity, etc.); – differences in educational goals, content, results and forms of project activity in education (educational, social, entrepreneurial, innovative projects; projects for organizing educational activities, training programs for project activities, project competitions). The research methods used are: modeling of project activities, organization of expertise and reflection of design competencies and signs of subjectivity of students, diagnostics of the quality of their subject position in education. Of exceptional importance were the procedures and methods of humanitarian research of educational innovations (Prozumentova, 2007): phenomenological description of design precedents in innovative educational practices, textualization, analytical commentary, analytical generalization, typologization, conceptualization. We also used methods of qualitative analysis: the case study method, focused and research interviews, and the organization of focus groups. The study identified characteristics of psychological and educational space of the University; revealed the psychological and pedagogical conditions of formation of subjectest and subjective position of a man in his education, and thus, a justified way of solving the problem of the study of quality of subjectivity of students through the analysis of existing forms of organization of project activities in the educational space of the University.

Purpose Misophonia is a sound tolerance disorder condition in certain sounds that trigger intense emotional or physiological responses. While some persons may experience misophonia, a few patients suffer from misophonia. However, there is a dearth of literature on audiological assessment and management of persons with misophonia. The purpose of this report is to discuss the assessment of misophonia and highlight the management option that helped a patient with misophonia. Method A case study of a 26-year-old woman with the complaint of decreased tolerance to specific sounds affecting quality of life is reported. Audiological assessment differentiated misophonia from hyperacusis. Management included retraining counseling as well as desensitization and habituation therapy based on the principles described by P. J. Jastreboff and Jastreboff (2014). A misophonia questionnaire was administered at regular intervals to monitor the effectiveness of therapy. Results A detailed case history and audiological evaluations including pure-tone audiogram and Johnson Hyperacusis Index revealed the presence of misophonia. The patient benefitted from intervention, and the scores of the misophonia questionnaire indicated a decrease in the severity of the problem. Conclusions It is important to differentially diagnose misophonia and hyperacusis in persons with sound tolerance disorders. Retraining counseling as well as desensitization and habituation therapy can help patients who suffer from misophonia.

This paper presents a successful behavioral case study in treatment of chronic refractory cough in a 60-year-old adult female. The efficacy for speech-language pathology treating chronic cough is discussed along with description of treatment regime. Discussion focuses on therapy approaches used and the patient's report of changes in quality of life and frequency, duration, and severity reduction of her cough after treatment.

So far, in implementing school strategies, they tend not to utilize Information and Communication Technology (ICT), despite the availability of ICT resources available. Stages of strategic management are needed to generate the vision, mission, objectives, policy, program, budget, and procedures as well as control and evaluation process as an effort to utilize ICT to improve school quality. Based on the interpretation and the results of the study, it is concluded that schools have organized stages in strategic management that enable schools to have a quality profile. The impact of effective utilization of ICTs for schools is the achievement of effective school management, as per the National Education Standards, which is characterized by effective planning, implementation, control, and evaluation of school ICTs.The purpose of this study is to get a general description, describe, and reveal the Strategic Management of Information and Communication Technology Utilization to Improve the Quality of School Learning in Ciledug Al Musaddadiyah Vocational High School and Garut 1 Vocational High School, both on environmental analysis, strategic formulation, implementation and strategic evaluation. The research method used in this research is the case study method, because the problems studied occur in the place and situation of Ciledug Al Musaddadiyah Vocational School and Vocational High School 1 Garut. The use of case study models in this study is based on the consideration that to provide an overview of the strategic management activities of the use of ICTs carried out at vocational high schools with the ultimate goal of being able to improve the quality of school learning. Based on observations in the field of SMK 1 Garut and SMK Al Musaddadiyah Ciledug Garut is one of the public schools and private schools that have these advantages.

In this article, we evaluate the effectiveness of Cone Beam Computed Tomography, through a case study, in assessing the complication of intracranial bleeding during an endovascular treatment of brain arteriovenous malformation when compared to Multislice-Detector Computed Tomography performed immediately after the procedure. The image quality of Cone Beam Computed Tomography has enough diagnostic value in differentiating between haemorrhage, embolic materials and the arteriovenous malformation nidus to facilitate physicians to decide for further management of the patient.
