A year after the primary study that tested the impact of introducing blended learning and guided discovery to help teach computer application to business students, this paper looks into the continued success of using guided discovery and blended learning with learning management system in and out of classrooms to enhance student learning. Particularly, it looks at the successful adaptation and implementation of learning management system as an aid to learning and delivery of a computer application subject to a class that is majorly populated by business students with little or no IT background. This paper tests the continued success to establish whether the success recorded after the first implementation was sustainable or merely influenced by the Hawthorn effect of trialing an innovation. It concludes with final grade measure over a one-year period of implementation of the system, and student responses that strongly support the original approach used by the author.

This research aims to investigate faculty members' attitudes towards using learning management system "Desire2Learn" (D2L) at Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In addition, it examines the impact of some personal and organizational variables on the faculty members' attitudes. The paper aims as well to identify the principal obstacles that limit their use of eLearning platform (Desire2Learn). To achieve these aims, a descriptive analysis methodology was used in this research, and the research sample consists of 160 participants that were selected randomly from various faculties at the university. The sample participants are asked to complete a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire to gather the required data. Validity and reliability of the questionnaire were guaranteed. The research results revealed positive attitudes of the faculty members at UQU towards eLearning platform (D2L), although it has not activated enough yet. Results also indicated there are differences of statistical significance level (0.05) in the attitudes of faculty members towards using LMS "D2L" due to the colleges classification, whether they are humanities, scientific or medical colleges. However, there are significant statistically differences in faculty members' attitudes with respect to using D2L which are found in favor of males than females and the scientific colleges whose faculty members are more desire to use the learning management system than those in the humanities colleges. The results revealed that the most important obstacles are the administrative and academic obstacles which is ranked first, followed by the physical obstacles and the personal obstacles exist at the final. The research findings help stakeholders and decision makers at higher education to take into account the implication of designing more e-courses to fulfill the needs of faculty member and activate the LMS usage to increase the efficiency of eLearning. The contribution of this research is clarified to direct faculty members' practice in various learning activities environment that lead to a successful implementation of eLearning platform and afford the stakeholders better understanding to promote positive attitudes and effective use toward LMS.

In this chapter the impact of using a learning management system on pre-service and in-service teachers' evaluation of a teacher educator in a teacher training university was compared. Two groups of students participated in the study and for one semester experienced a blended learning where the extension of academic activities of the course Materials Evaluation and Syllabus Design was presented via a learning management system online. At the end of the course both groups' evaluation of the instructor's teaching was compared in two aspects: teaching style and student-teacher interaction. The result showed that there was a significant difference between two groups' evaluation of the educator. Pre-service teachers were found to have higher attitudes towards teaching effectiveness and they were more satisfied with both teachers' teaching style and social behavior.

This study aimed to develop and investigate the impact of the implementation of the Mobile-Learning Management System, which we call elektronik Bimbingan Baca al-Qur’an (e-BBQ, a word in the Indonesian Language), in fostering student’s worship. This research was conducted at Universitas Negeri Malang in the odd semester of the 2018-2019 academic year with ADDIE research design. The implementation stage was carried out with a one-group pretest-posttest design. As a result, the e-BBQ developed was in the form of applications and websites with some menus including Al-Qur'an learning, worship, training, and log in instructor. The evaluation by experts, as well as students and instructors showed that the products developed were suitable for use. e-BBQ has a positive effect; the quality of student’s worship increased significantly after participating in learning by utilizing e-BBQ. e-BBQ is considered to be an interesting medium for learning Islamic religion, able to make learning more enjoyable, and raise the student’s learning motivation

This paper presents the rationale behind the utilization of a Moodle Learning Management System for the facilitation of a blended learning approach in the Informatics department. The authors present and analyze the steps followed in order to replace the prior decentralized organizational structure of the courses, which consisted of a multitude of different and incompatible systems. The main goal was to implement a single system, which would be easy to operate, maintain, and update, and would cater to the variety of instructor and student needs. Furthermore, evaluation data of the new system is presented in detail. The analysis of the results serves to confirm the success of this department-wide migration.
