The COVID-19 problem has not gone away with the passing of the seasons. Although most countries have achieved remarkable results in fighting against epidemic diseases and controlling viruses, the general public is still far from understanding the new crown virus and lack imagination on its transmission law. Location-based games (LBGs) have been challenged during the on-going pandemic. No research has shown that LBGs can be used to help prevent COVID-19 infection. Therefore, we designed the game MeetDurian, which integrates entertainment, sports, and education. For investigating factors influencing intention to play the MeetDurian, we proposed some comparative evaluation. Data were gathered from participants who participated in capturing virtual durians and completed questionnaires about immersion into the game, workload assessment, user’s emotions, learning outcomes, and personal hygiene. These results proved the acceptability and usability of the mobile game-based MeetDurian for preventing the infection and severity of the COVID-19 pandemic.

SacreBLEU, by incorporating a text normalizing step in the pipeline, has been well-received as an automatic evaluation metric in recent years. With agglutinative languages such as Korean, however, the metric cannot provide a conceivable result without the help of customized pre-tokenization. In this regard, this paper endeavors to examine the influence of diversified pre-tokenization schemes –word, morpheme, character, and subword– on the aforementioned metric by performing a meta-evaluation with manually-constructed into-Korean human evaluation data. Our empirical study demonstrates that the correlation of SacreBLEU (to human judgment) fluctuates consistently by the token type. The reliability of the metric even deteriorates due to some tokenization, and MeCab is not an exception. Guiding through the proper usage of tokenizer for each metric, we stress the significance of a character level and the insignificance of a Jamo level in MT evaluation.

How to choose suppliers scientifically is an important part of strategic decision-making management of enterprises. Expert evaluation is subjective and uncontrollable; sometimes, there exists biased evaluation, which will lead to controversial or unfair results in supplier selection. To tackle this problem, this paper proposes a novel method that employs machine learning to learn the credibility of expert from historical data, which is converted to weights in evaluation process. We first use the Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier to classify the historical evaluation data of experts and calculate the experts’ evaluation credibility, then determine the weights of the evaluation experts, finally assemble the weighted evaluation results, and get a preference order of choosing suppliers. The main contribution of this method is that it overcomes the shortcomings of multiple conversions and large loss on evaluation information, maintains the initial evaluation information to the maximum extent, and improves the credibility of evaluation results and the fairness and scientificity of supplier selection. The results show that it is feasible to classify the past evaluation data of the evaluation experts by the SVM classification model, and the expert weights determined on the basis of the evaluation credibility of experts are adjustable.

It is universally known that, through the process of colorization, one aims at converting a monochrome image into one of color, usually because it was taken by the limited technology of previous decades. Our work introduces the problem, summarizes the general deep learning solutions, and discusses the experimental results obtained from open-source repositories. Although the surveyed methods can be applied to other fields, solely the content of photography is being considered. Our contribution stands in the analysis of colorization in photography by examining used datasets and methodologies for evaluation, data processing activities, and the infrastructure demanded by these systems. We curated some of the most promising papers, published between 2016 and 2021, and centered our observations around software reliability, and key advancements in solutions employing Generative Adversarial Networks and Neural Networ

Abstract One of the major factors in the well plug and abandonment (P&A) process is to provide a proper isolation in aging wells which requires effective placement of the cement plug in the most suitable location in the well. Identifying cement placement is usually achieved by running cement evaluation logging to define the quality of cement and top of cement depth behind and in between the casing annuli. However, this comes with significant costs due to tubulars or casings removal requirement prior to logging run in order to conduct a proper evaluation. This is necessary since acoustic and ultrasonic based cement evaluation technologies will not be able to determine cement quality behind several casing layers if the job is done through tubing. The cost involved is substantial especially in offshore operation in which the daily operating rate is significantly higher compared to an onshore operation. A new approach to cement evaluation has been tested during the well P&A campaign in one of the aging oil fields in offshore, Peninsular Malaysia. A nuclear based technology comprised of Gamma-Gamma, Neutron-Neutron and Neutron-Gamma measurements were utilized to evaluate cement integrity behind production casing and between production casing as well as intermediate casing while logging run was deployed through tubing in memory mode. Log data was compared with acoustic and ultrasonic based cement evaluation technology that was deployed after the tubing was pulled out in one of the wells. Results had shown a consistent finding with the conventional ultrasonic based cement evaluation data. Based on the logging results, cement placement design and depth was finalized and the cement plug was successfully tested as outlined in the well P&A guideline. Findings from this logging run had provided useful insight to the operator to validate the nuclear based thru tubing cement evaluation technology for wells P&A application. Huge cost saving could be captured through this application as a result of eliminating total rig days via offline cement evaluation logging and based on the results obtained planning for the exact well P&A design requirement prior to the rig arrival. This paper will outline the method, tools used to acquire the cement evaluation data and its operational advantages. Acquired data will be presented and discussed along with the methodology used to determine cement volume and top of cement depth behind and in between the casings.

Abstract In the new century, China has attached great importance to informatization work. Based on the development of education and teaching, the necessary infrastructure for informatization must be gradually improved. At the same time, we should make reasonable and effective use of information technology in the analysis of educational evaluation data, so that informatization teaching becomes an indispensable part of education. The purpose of this article is to study the application of data mining algorithms in data analysis of information education evaluation. This article will give full play to the interactive, dynamic and open advantages of the teaching resources of the network platform, combined with the ability of teachers to use information technology, rationally optimize the education evaluation data analysis system, use existing information technology to build an evaluation system, and evaluate the participating teachers. Ensure that the evaluation results are objective and effective. According to the overall framework and demand analysis of the system, the teacher information technology application ability assessment system is divided into different functional modules, each module is analyzed in detail according to user needs, and the corresponding database is designed. The evaluation system has an intuitive user interface, easy operation, and stable operation. It is suitable for first-line teachers and school administrators in primary and secondary schools to make a fair assessment of the teaching of teachers. Through the evaluation and analysis report, teachers can optimize and comprehensively understand their own teaching situation, see the problems in their teaching, and change the teaching method in time; appropriately summarize and analyze to improve the teaching level. Understand the teaching work of teachers, and realize the in-depth integration of informatization and teaching. Experimental investigations have shown that students have a great lack of experimental ability. The other four abilities are not far apart, all of which are above 70%. They are in the upper middle and upper reaches. Among them, the analysis and application tools are about 5% higher than the grade level. In general, the experimental ability must be strengthened to enhance. Let students achieve all-round development. Through the evaluation and analysis report, teachers can find their own shortcomings in teaching more clearly based on their optimization, and change the teaching methods in time; appropriately summarize and analyze to improve the teaching level.
