In the consumer purchase decisions as the starting point, as China and Kazakhstan reached agreement on the implementation of the "Belt and Road" strategy, a large number of fashionable consumer goods in China entered Kazakhstan and enriched the consumer market in Kazakhstan, also changed people's consumption concept in Kazakhstan. In order to obtain a comprehensive and effective research results, the data obtained through the market research were analyzed by using the software of SPSS 20.0 to evaluate the reliability and validity of the data and the fitting degree of the model. Through the confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis of the model, the relationship between the latent variables in the model is obtained, And the results of the investigation and the theoretical analysis are analyzed and studied in detail so as to put forward a positive research proposal to better promote the long-term prosperity of the consumer market of fashion goods in Kazakhstan under the new situation.

Although the chocolate market has become increasingly larger and more competitive, no diagnostic measures were found to evaluate relationship marketing from customer perspectives in this very attractive market in the B2C context. Thus, the main purpose of this paper is to obtain validity evidence for the Chocolate Brands Relationship Scale (CBR Scale), a scientific instrument that enables the identification and measurement of the prime aspects perceived by chocolate brands’ customers as relevant in their relationship with such brands. Additionally, we tested the influence of the relationship, evaluated from the validated CBR Scale, with the chocolate consumers’ satisfaction. We conducted a survey with 523 Brazilian consumers, and data were analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The CBR Scale is composed of 21 items divided into three factors: Brand Trust, Shopping Experience and Perceived Quality. As theoretical implications, we produce a valid and reliable operational measure, offering a useful starting point from which further theoretical and empirical research of customer relationship management, branding strategies, brand loyalty, and brand experience in the chocolate market can be built. Managerially, the CBR Scale is a valid instrument for practitioners and managers in the chocolate sector to access customers, establishing and developing long-term relationships with them.

Abstract In this study, fast fashion concept is investigated in order to understand the motivations of the consumers that make them adopt these products because of their willingness for the innovativeness. The relationship between the motivational factors which were named as “Social or status image” and “Uniqueness” as expressions of individuality, “Conformity” and the willingness for “Innovativeness” is analyzed using a conceptual model. Exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were used to analyze and validate the model. The data used for the study was obtained from 244 people living in Turkey. The findings showed that the motivational factors “Social or status image” and “Uniqueness” as expressions of individuality are influential on the consumers’ willingness for “Innovativeness”.

This paper presents the Nursing Motives for Helping Scale (N-MHS), an instrument designed for the evaluation of three of the four motives for helping derived from Batson's helping pathway theory. Dimensionality was analyzed by means of principal component analysis (n = 113), followed by confirmatory factor analysis. A 3-factor structure (corresponding to Batson's differentiation among altruistic motivation, reward-seeking motivation, and punishment-avoidance motivation, respectively), with 9 items distributed in three latent variables, revealed an acceptable fit to the data. Alpha values (.60 - .74) showed that internal consistency was acceptable for a newly developed subscale with a small number of items. Convergence validity was evaluated with correlations between N-MHS subscales scores and scores on the Professional Expectations Scale (Garrosa, Moreno-Jiménez, Rodríguez-Carvajal, & Morante, 2005). The three resulting subscales are a promising instrument for the evaluation of three nursing motives for helping that can contribute to reduce the potential risks and to improve the potential benefits both for the nurse and the patient.

Development of a reliable and valid measure of outcome expectations for exercise for older adults will help establish the relationship between outcome expectations and exercise and facilitate the development of interventions to increase physical activity in older adults. The purpose of this study was to test the reliability and validity of the Outcome Expectations for Exercise-2 Scale (OEE-2), a 13-item measure with two subscales: positive OEE (POEE) and negative OEE (NOEE). The OEE-2 scale was given to 161 residents in a continuing-care retirement community. There was some evidence of validity based on confirmatory factor analysis, Rasch-analysis INFIT and OUTFIT statistics, and convergent validity and test criterion relationships. There was some evidence for reliability of the OEE-2 based on alpha coefficients, person- and item-separation reliability indexes, and R2 values. Based on analyses, suggested revisions are provided for future use of the OEE-2. Although ongoing reliability and validity testing are needed, the OEE-2 scale can be used to identify older adults with low outcome expectations for exercise, and interventions can then be implemented to strengthen these expectations and improve exercise behavior.

This paper addresses the role that communities of practice (CoP) can have within the healthcare environment when facing uncertainty and highly emotionally impactful situations, such as the current COVID-19 pandemic. The starting point is the recognition that CoPs can contribute to build resilience among their members, and particularly moral resilience. Among others, this is due to the fact that they share a reflective space from which shared knowledge is generated, which can be a source of strength and trust within the healthcare team. Specifically, in extreme situations, the CoPs can contribute to coping with moral distress, which will be crucially important not only to facing crisis situations, but to prevent the long-term adverse consequences of working in conditions of great uncertainty. The purpose of this paper is to analyze how CoP can support healthcare professionals when building moral resilience. To support that goal, we will first define CoP and describe the main characteristics of communities of practice in healthcare. Subsequently, we will clarify the concept of moral resilience, and establish the relationship between CoP and moral resilience in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Finally, we analyze different group experiences that we can consider as CoP which emerged in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic to navigate moral problems that arose.

Relationship science has proliferated in the last few years. However, most of these studies have remained focused on western culture. An important reason for the lack of relationship studies in the non-western, particularly Indian context, is the lack of culturally validated scales. The present study was aimed at assessing the psychometric properties of the relationship structure (ECR-RS) scale. ECR-RS is a nine-item questionnaire used to measure attachment patterns for different relationships. It has been translated and modified in multiple languages. The study (N = 223, undergraduate students, 32.7% females) evaluated the Hindi version of ECR-RS scale’s psychometric properties for mother, father, close friend, and global attachment. The confirmatory factor analysis supports the presence of the two-factor model as originally theorized in ECR-RS. The findings support the reliability and validity of Hindi ECR-RS. The study contributes methodologically by providing an instrument of attachment styles, which could be a valuable resource for practitioners and researchers in the Indian context.

Online games have become increasingly popular computer applications, raising the question of who plays them. Thus, the present study investigates the relationship between gamer personality and online game use as well as the potential links between online game use and gamer demographic variables. The sample consisted of 1633 Taiwanese online gamers. This study used confirmatory factor analysis to assess measurement reliability and validity. The hypotheses were tested using regression analyses. Analytical results indicated that online game use is positively related to gamer openness and agreeableness but negatively related to gamer conscientiousness and emotional stability. Moreover, being male and having a high income were associated with higher levels of online game use. The results increase the knowledge on the link between personality and online gaming behaviour.

This study examines the relationship beween employment and psychosocial working conditions and well-being of native and migrant workers in the working population of Spain. Data from the 7th Spanish Survey of Working Conditions was used to conduct a confirmatory factor analysis (n = 8508) to identify the main latent variables that influenced well-being. Using structural equation modeling and multivariate analysis, we found different patterns and perceptions of well-being and working conditions in these two groups. We discuss the reasons for these differences and suggest directions for further research in this area.

In educational policy and practical school discourse, cooperation between parents and schools is generally considered important in promoting more equal-opportunity education, but is also described as difficult in terms of implementation. The relationship between schools and parents with a so-called migration background (Migrationshintergrund) is the subject of a great deal of discussion, and these parents are frequently assigned responsibility of a lack in cooperation. In this contribution, I will show that the classification of an entire group of parents as bildungsfern (literally “far from education”) is part of the problem. (This problematic term is currently used in Germany to designate those population groups that in Anglo-American discourse are labelled “educationally disadvantaged”.) Classical forms of participation such as parents’ associations are insufficient and do not live up to parental diversity. The concept of democratic school-development (Schütze & Hildebrandt 2006) tries to engage all the parents in a school to minimize exclusion and institutional hierarchies. The starting point of this study, presented here in sections, is whether this can succeed over the long term. Democratic processes of school development offer great potential to approach diversity constructively and to make schools more democratic. But such processes, it seems, can never be considered completed, but need to be seen as an ongoing development in which all participants need to be involved in ever new ways and where the aims require constant renegotiation.

The aim of this study is to identify the factors of employee development (ED) and to validate those identified set of factors using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Data were collected personally from employees of manufacturing industries. Factor analysis was carried out to explore the factors and CFA was carried out to check the reliability, validity and the model fitness. The scale had a high degree of reliability and validity and ensured the presence of both convergent and discriminant validity. The scale developed in this study is based on only four factors of ED as identified by different authors. In future, other factors, such as knowledge management and management development programmes, can also be included in the study. The instrument developed in the study for ED provides a basis for most of the academicians and the researchers to empirically test the relationship between ED, individual performance and organizational effectiveness, which has become an important area of interest among the researchers in recent years. The study is based on identifying the measures/factors of ED and validate those factors.
