Recently, special attention at implementation of the necessary level of information security is given to wireless technologies. Their use contributes to the growing demand for video information services. This is accompanied by an increase in the intensity of video streams and an increase in the processing time of video information, resulting in them far beyond the bandwidth of networks. Consequently, there is a contradiction that is caused: on the one hand, the growth of requirements for the quality of video information; on the other hand, difficulties in providing services of the given quality using wireless technologies. The article deals with issues related to the speed of the video stream of video information, depending on the quality of video data required, from spatial resolution and frame rate. The article concludes that with the trend of increasing the amount of video information in the complexes of the Hellenic Republic - it is necessary to improve the coding methods. In order to increase the efficiency of management and operational activities, it is proposed to improve the existing methods of encoding dynamic video streaming object with algorithms for motion compensation for video conferencing in the system of troop control. As a result, the article proposes a six-point algorithm for search, which can increase the efficiency and reduce the processing time of video information between subscribers. This approach, in the future, by improving the existing methods for encoding dynamic video streaming objects with algorithms of motion compensation, will improve the efficiency of using videoconferencing, for example, in the control system of troops.

The article is devoted to the topical issue of finding new effective and improving existing widespread compression methods in order to reduce computational complexity and improve the quality of image-renewable image compression images, is important for the introduction of cloud technologies. The article presents a problem To increase the efficiency of cloud storage, it is necessary to determine methods for reducing the information redundancy of digital images by fractal compression of video content, to make recommendations on the possibilities of applying these methods to solve various practical problems. The necessity of storing high-quality video information in new HDTV formats 2k, 4k, 8k in cloud storage to meet the existing needs of users has been substantiated. It is shown that when processing and transmitting high quality video information there is a problem of reducing the redundancy of video data (image compression) provided that the desired image quality is preserved, restored by the user. It has been shown that in cloud storage the emergence of such a problem is historically due to the contradiction between consumer requirements for image quality and the necessary volumes and ways to reduce redundancy of video data, which are transmitted over communication channels and processed in data center servers. The solution to this problem is traditionally rooted in the search for effective technologies for compressing, archiving and compressing video information. An analysis of video compression methods and digital video compression technology has been performed, which reduces the amount of data used to represent the video stream. Approaches to image compression in cloud storage under conditions of preservation or a slight reduction in the amount of data that provide the user with the specified quality of the restored image are shown. Classification of special compression methods without loss and with information loss is provided. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that it is advisable to use special methods of compression with loss of information to store high quality video information in the new formats HDTV 2k, 4k, 8k in cloud storage. The application of video image processing and their encoding and compression on the basis of fractal image compression is substantiated. Recommendations for the implementation of these methods are given.

The article considers the problem of ensuring the availability and integrity of wireless subscribers in cellular and other wireless corporate networks. The article aims to determine the threshold values for the moment of failure of video transmission, quantitative parameters, artifacts, and the number of errors for the image. Show the dependence of the integrity of data transmitted in real-time on the characteristics of the environment. Two approaches were used to assess the quality of video information: qualitative (image recognition assessment) and quantitative (error measurement). Because the research program was written in the Kotlin programming language, a library written in Java or Kotlin was required. After searching the library, it turned out that only three libraries meet such parameters as reliability, relevance, and availability of documentation: Jaffree, Xuggler, and VLCJ. After gathering information, it was found that the most common screen extensions for desktops are 1366 × 768 and for phones—360 × 640. An error occurred that RTP did not support more than one connection. Also, the RTSP protocol could not pass the experiment on codecs other than MP4V. The experiment stopped earlier than necessary without error. Judging by the indicators, this was a very high CPU load. All other protocols were successfully tested, and results were obtained. During the experiments, we encountered various video anomalies. The worst was the video playback problem with the MJPG codec. Other anomalies were also identified: frame delay, incorrect frame rendering, white noise, and white noise mixed with frames. It is clear how up to 128 kbps experiments are successful and then begin to stop the video stream without error information. According to the results of experiments, the H.264 codec performs best.

The paper presents the results of simulation of the process of video data transmission from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to a ground station using the IEEE 802.11 family standards (802.11n, 802.11ac and 802.11ax), with the ability to change modulation indices, coding schemes and data transfer rate in a network simulator NS-3. The aim of the work is to analyze the characteristics of the quality of video data transmission in the UAV network for various Wi-Fi standards, which allows determining the most suitable standard for the transmission of video data in the UAV network, depending on the distances between nodes and the required frequency band. A scenario is considered in which an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) hovering in the air was transmitting a video stream to a ground station, while the distance between nodes increased, and the transmission rate was maintained at the same level close to the transmission rate of the real video stream. The simulation was carried out in several stages for a more detailed study of the dependence of the packet loss of the transmitted data on the change in modulation indices, coding schemes and other parameters. Based on the simulation results, the characteristics of the video data transmission quality were obtained as a relation between the Packet delivery rate (PDR) and distance between nodes for different transmission parameters for each considered standard of the IEEE 802.11 family. Based on the results obtained, conclusions were drawn about the influence of transmission parameters on the quality of service characteristics. The study was carried out in an open-source network simulator NS-3, which implements build-in libraries that are necessary for high-quality simulation of data streaming transmission and allows you to set a wide range of parameters to obtain realistic results. The results of the work may be of interest to UAV manufacturers when planning missions in which the choice of Wi-Fi standard used as a channel for transmitting video data is crucial.

We developed and implemented an annual online survey to administer to residents exiting residency training in order to (1) assess the quality of the residency experience and (2) identify areas of strength and areas requiring improvement. Long-term goals include program planning, policy-making and maintenance of quality control. Survey content was developed from an environmental scan, pre-existing survey instruments, examination of training criteria established by the CFPC and the CanMEDS criteria established by the RCPSC. The survey included evaluation benchmarks and satisfaction ratings of program director and faculty, preparation for certification and practice, quality of life, quality of education, and work environment. The response rate was 28%. Seventy-five percent of respondents were exiting from Royal College training programs. Results of descriptive statistics determined that the overall educational experience was rated highly, with 98.9% of respondents satisfied or very satisfied with their overall patient care experience. Ninety-six percent of respondents were satisfied or very satisfied with the overall quality of teaching. Preparation for practice was identified as needing improvement, with 26% and 34% of respondents giving an unsatisfactory rating to career guidance and assistance with finding employment, respectively. Although 80% of respondents reported receiving ongoing feedback and 84% discussed their evaluations with their supervisors, only 38% of evaluations were completed by the end of the rotation. The results indicate that residents are generally satisfied with their experiences during residency training, especially with their overall educational experience. Areas of improvement include preparation for practice and timeliness of evaluations. Further iterations of this survey are needed to refine the instrument, identify data trends and maintain quality control in residency training programs. Frank JR (ed.).
