This paper mainly studies the application of intelligent lighting control system in different sports events in large sports competition venues. We take the Xiantao Stadium, a largescale sports competition venue in Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province as an example, to study its intelligent lighting control system. In this paper, the PID (proportion – integral – derivative) incremental control model and the Karatsuba multiplication model are used, and the intelligent lighting control system is designed and implemented by multilevel fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model. Finally, the paper evaluates the actual effect of the intelligent lighting control system. The research shows that the intelligent lighting control system designed in this paper can accurately control the lighting of different sports in large stadiums. The research in this paper has important practical significance for the planning and design of largescale sports competition venues.

AbstractThe use of LED lights in smart street lighting to save energy is efficient and very common in many developed cities. However, such a system results in higher initial costs, which may discourage smaller towns and villages from its purchasing. This paper therefore deals with the design and development of a smart street lighting control system for smaller cities and villages. Such a system is required to be economical from the perspective of development and production. Considering other requirements such as platform independence, high availability and broad support, we proposed to build a system as a web application using a custom light control service component. The result is a web application that consists of a user interface served by a web server and an application server used to communicate with light control service. In addition, the system is designed as a geographical information system to be easy to use for managing street lights in groups or individually, while displaying them on the map. The system allows automatic sensor-based light intensity modulation by default with the possibility of manual adjustment or override of the illumination. It also includes a device error notification system with a tool to navigate faulty devices. The presented system is a low-cost solution for intelligent street lighting control designed for smaller cities or villages. They can apply the designed architecture of the system and the specific technologies suitable because of their low-cost implementation.

Currently, energy saving requires the development of simple and efficient street lighting control systems. In order to create such a control system, it is necessary to develop an original principle of its operation. They considered the advantages of electronic starting devices in street lighting control systems. They performed the analysis of the existing state of street lighting means, their shortcomings and solutions have been determined, and they developed the method of lighting device automatic control. They performed the assessment of the economic effect from loss reduction associated with reactive power and due to power reduction during deep night. They presented the example of economic effect achievement from the use of an electronic starting device with automatic power reduction.

Spectrum today is regulated based on fixed licensees. In the past radio operators have been allocated a frequency band for exclusive use. This has become problem for new users and the modern explosion in wireless services that, having arrived late find there is a scarcity in the remaining available spectrum. Cognitive radio (CR) presents a solution. CRs combine intelligence, spectrum sensing and software reconfigurable radio capabilities. This allows them to opportunistically transmit among several licensed bands for seamless communications, switching to another channel when a licensee is sensed in the original band without causing interference. Enabling this is an intelligent dynamic channel selection strategy capable of finding the best quality channel to transmit on that suffers from the least licensee interruption. This thesis evaluates a Q-learning channel selection scheme using an experimental approach. A cognitive radio deploying the scheme is implemented on GNU Radio and its performance is measured among channels with different utilizations in terms of its packet transmission success rate, goodput and interference caused. We derive similar analytical expressions in the general case of large-scale networks. Our results show that using the Q-learning scheme for channel selection significantly improves the goodput and packet transmission success rate of the system.
