Education 4.0 is an education model aligned with future trends in order to develop and enhance individualized education that will eventually go on to define the manner in which youngsters of the future will work and live. Since youth are the main asset of any nation, education becomes the most powerful tool for social transformation. India's demographic structure is changing; while the world grows older, the Indian population is becoming younger, and by 2025, about two-third of Indians will be in its workforce. A few issues addressed in this study are to identify the drivers of Education 4.0, to identify and understand the role of disruptive technologies, to study the transition from Education 1.0 to Education 4.0 and its relevant impact on the higher education system.

The process of social transformation taking place in the world and in Russia, expressed in education reform programs, is changing the role of educational organizations in society and the economy and, probably, in culture as a whole. New players on the educational services market that has emerged in Russia (international IT corporations, etc.) in many ways initiate these changes or have a great impact on the structural and substantive restructuring of Russian higher education. The purpose of the article is to investigate what is happening with Russian higher education, the preconditions and trends of transformation of the domestic model of education are analyzed. Within the framework of the goal, the task to explore the components of this transformation is solved: digitalization and personalization (individualization) of the learning process. The source of the study was strategic documents on the development of national education and the practice of their implementation in individual educational institutions. Research methods – theoretical analysis and synthesis. The results of the research are set out below: the problems of educational institutions that arise in the implementation of the «request» for the personalization of education have been identified; some conceptual gaps in strategic documents are identified that make it difficult for performers to comprehend the goals of digitalization of education; some organizational reasons are indicated for which the implementation of the concept of individualization (personalization) of education for students in practice is difficult.

This study appraised my momentarily missing twelve years of formal education life (1990-2002) and thoughtful higher education life (2002 to onward). Through this appraisal, I explored how I have been experiencing transformative role of education since my school education life. In so doing, I applied auto ethnography methodology and narrative imagination method for interpreting narrative information. While exploring my experiences, I found I was worry to improve my economic condition in the beginning. Thereby, I applied vocational rehabilitation therapy and resiliency against my frustration and engaged in working life that implicitly encouraged me to embark in higher educational voyage. However, later wards, I started worrying with poor socio-cultural and economic structures of own society and nation. Even my involvement in higher education/training and academic journeys in ever changing environment made me more critical, reflective and transformative because of my resilient will and inner urges. I successfully transformed my identity from rural development graduate to educationist and academician. Finally, this study also revealed that I was/am an exceptional student because of my good educational achievement. Hence, my reflections on transformative role of education are equally important to the students, teachers and development stakeholders for plying institutional agentic role to mobilize rural development graduates in local levels.

If we want to convert our rural population into knowledge driven, progressive, self sufficient, self reliant, sustainable society, the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT’s) cannot be ignored. Timely availability information is considered as most important factor in Indian agriculture. At present ICT is the technology of this millennium. Transferring the developed technology to all end users is time-consuming and tiresome task and is often not completed due to paucity of resources and lack of manpower. In India, agriculture and rural development has gained significantly from ICT due to its widespread extension and adoption. In this era of internet, ICT is committed to provide real, timely accurate authentic information to the farmers and rural peoples.

A majority of the black community of Dullstroom-Emnotweni in the Mpumalanga highveld in the east of South Africa trace their descent back to the southern Ndebele of the so-called ‘Mapoch Gronden’, who lost their land in the 1880s to become farm workers on their own land. A hundred years later, in 1980, descendants of the ‘Mapoggers’ settled in the newly built ‘township’ of Dullstroom, called Sakhelwe, finding jobs on the railways or as domestic workers. Oral interviews with the inhabitants of Sakhelwe – a name eventually abandoned in favour of Dullstroom- Emnotweni – testify to histories of transition from landowner to farmworker to unskilled labourer. The stories also highlight cultural conflicts between people of Ndebele, Pedi and Swazi descent and the influence of decades of subordination on local identities. Research projects conducted in this and the wider area of the eMakhazeni Local Municipality reveal the struggle to maintain religious, gender and youth identities in the face of competing political interests. Service delivery, higher education, space for women and the role of faith-based organisations in particular seem to be sites of contestation. Churches and their role in development and transformation, where they compete with political parties and state institutions, are the special focus of this study. They attempt to remain free from party politics, but are nevertheless co-opted into contra-culturing the lack of service delivery, poor standards of higher education and inadequate space for women, which are outside their traditional role of sustaining an oppressed community.

This paper will grapple with notions of celebration, commemoration and leadership as narratives of memory in particular in the Ciskei Bantustan. It is to remember and reflect on our past to understand the present. It will also focus on the history of the Ciskei Homeland, leadership values, and role of traditional leaders, rural development, legislative imperatives, and system of separate development, coups, suppression, torture and killings that happened during this era between 1972 to 1994.

The article outlines the conceptual framework for adapting Ukrainian higher education to the Standards and Recommendations for Quality Assurance in the European higher education area. The role of the Bologna Declaration in ensuring the quality of higher education in Europe has been explained. The conceptual foundations and the essence of standards and recommendations on quality assurance in the European higher education area have been defined. The Ukrainian realities of the adaptation of higher education of Ukraine to the educational European standards of quality have been characterized.
