Abstract This paper presents a price model of the Input-Output variety. This model computes the changes in the production costs and the prices of goods resulting from changes in the prices of primary factors and imports and changes in indirect taxes. It assumes that all such changes are transmitted in whole and without delay to the users of goods. It is very close in spirit to the price model developed by Statistics Canada but it offers more general possibilities than the latter.

This paper describes a simple cost-push price model which has been developed at the Structural Analysis Division of Statistics Canada. This price model is a traditional input/output cost-push model which has been adapted to utilize the rectangular industry by commodity input/output tables for Canada. It can be considered as the "dual" of the output model. Instead of analysing the propagation of demand through the economic system, the price model serves to analyse the propagation of factor prices throughout the system. The purpose of such a price formation model is to determine the impact on industry selling prices and domestic commodity prices arising from a change in impart commodity prices and primary input prices. This price model is of a static type; it accepts no substitutions and its structure is quite rigid. It is considered as being an annual model although it can be used for a different time period. This model is fully operational and is widely used by many government and private agencies.

This paper analyzes and evaluates the oil price change on effects of China’s general price level and economic sectors’ price level by adopting the input-output price model and input-output of China in 2007. In the case of oil price rise 100%: Compare with the results over the years show that oil price impact on the whole society increased year by year, and the rate of increase present accelerated tendency; Compare with the other energy sector, the impact of oil prices level is generally lower than the price of electricity and heat levels.

The aim of the article is to assess the sensitivity of the deflator of households consumption to changes in prices of imported agricultural products. In addition to assessing the scale of this sensitivity, its changes in time and spatial diversification were tracked. The research used the input – output price model. It is a macroeconomic model based on the cost formula, and therefore price sensitivity is described through the prism of flows of intermediate products, ignoring adjustment mechanisms. The statistical material for the period 2000–2014 was taken from world input – output database (WIOD) covering information about 43 countries of the world. The analysis carried out shows that changes in world prices of agricultural products have a rather small impact on the purchasing power of households. The observed changes in time are varied, however, the upward trend prevails. The results confirm the thesis that the sensitivity to price impulses flowing from abroad decreases along with the size of the country. Very clearly, especially in European countries, a breakdown in 2009 can be noticed, resulting from the financial crisis, which also moved to the real sphere.

The presented considerations are an attempt to verify the possibility of using input-output tables for modeling and, as a consequence, to forecast inflation. The study is a continuation of previous simulation experiments performed on a limited statistical material. The study uses input-output tables expressed in current and constant prices, describing the economy of Denmark. This is the richest available set of tables of this type. Thanks to these tables it was possible to trace long-term changes in the structure of production costs and their impact on the deflator of household consumption.

The enterprise is an organization that reconciles the workforce, real capital, techniques, information and knowledge to produce and service. The enterprise cannot control or have any impact on the environment that it`s surrounded by, only to adjust to it. Despite that, enterprises can be specialized in a special market segment, yet it will be subject to competitive pressure. Furniture Manufacturing Tefik Canga Design has taken over the use of natural and unnatural resources to promote the development and growth, or to solve financial and operational problems. With this research, we propose a growth model of a manufacturing enterprise in relation to the business environment. Implementation of the case is described and the profitability and productivity performance is analyzed using five years of historical data product. Therefore, by this study is expected to achieve results, that will improve the input-output relationship in order to increase the firm's productivity, increase the value of employees and create opportunities for development in order to cut production costs.
