In recent years, sustainable development has become a focal point for various fields of engineering design. A relatively novel concept of green architecture and eco-friendly interior design presents a new approach which is in accordance with the environmental safety concerns. This concept offers a starting point in search for adequate sollutions for a number of sustainability issues that contemporary communities are facing today. Key words: sustainable architecture, sustainable interior design, eco-design, eco-friendly architecture, environmental safety.

The article deals with the environmental consciousness emerged from the 1970's onwards, and with subsequent change in the ideology of city planning. The focus is on the development of urban conservation methods and on the maintenance of the built environment, which have marked a decisive shift away from the CIAM theses that dominated urban thinking during half-a-century. The decision to take the existing built environment as the starting point for all actions of city planning and design has been a radical stand for a new approach, corresponding to and paralleling the idea of sustainable development that crystallized in the 1980's up to the 1992 UN Conference. Grassroots-level strategies are considered important for all actions towards a sustainable way of life. The case of Finland is studied in some detail, with the conservation atlas of the historic milieu as an example of teaching a sustainable approach to environmental planning and design.

The objective of the undertaken study is to investigate the sustainability of creative economy and present a case study providing the main findings on the linkages between creative economy and sustainable development. The in-depth literature review of the creative economy and sustainable development offered the main insights in the development of the case study hypotheses. A case study on the biggest music festival that was organised in Lithuania is provided. The findings confirm that creative economy can be environmentally sustainable, and the customers identified their clear preferences for sustainability criteria in music festivals; however, not all these preferences are properly addressed by the organisers of cultural events, as it was revealed by this case study. The results of a quantitative study show that the festival participants are increasingly expressing the need for sustainable music festivals, but organisers have not yet taken the necessary actions to address this need. It is likely that, in the near future, the festival organisers in Lithuania will have to start applying various sustainability criteria during the festivals in order to attract more visitors and generate more income from such events as well to ensure environmental safety. The practical implications of conducted study are equally important for all stakeholders, such as the community, policymakers, companies, and regulatory agencies that are concerned with the implementation of sustainable development practices.

This exploration paper centers around the idea of green technology that has risen up out of the purpose of trouble created because of biological lopsidedness. Along these lines, environmental insurance has become a key concern around the world. It is brought about by the predominant biological troubles. The scope of concentrates that have been incorporated into green technology is to configuration, alter, and change items towards sustainable development. This likewise incorporates adjustment in the generation strategy, bundling process, and limited time movement to make environmental cognizance among purchasers. Today, the focal point of our general public is to achieve sustainable development in all perspectives. The examination paper audits the writing dependent on the green technology mediation approach and sustainable development for unraveling environmental issues in the present situation. This includes biological prosperity by temperance of financial needs through condition benevolent item and techniques for the present and future age. It endeavors for interlinking green technology with sustainable development for environmental safety.

Today, sustainable architecture is not just a trend but an architectural style that has become a "revolution." The lack of interior focus in the process of sustainable architectural development has created a gap between architects, interior designers, clients, or those wishing to live in a responsible construction environment. Responsibility for nature and people. Although environmentally sustainable interior design (ESID) has become a major issue in interior design practice, the frequency with which interior designers make sustainable choices in real practice is still limited, especially when choosing materials. Among these materials, this study wants to emphasize bamboo materials in sustainable furniture design in Vietnam. Indeed, this is a common material in sustainable design in Vietnam, and there are also many studies on the use of bamboo materials in housing construction. However, the paper raises main issues: role of bamboo material in interior design in Vietnam, the better access to a basic knowledge of sustainability, and more up-to-date information about sustainable materials will play a critical role in promoting sustainable practicing in Viet Nam.

Ensuring the sustainable development of agroecosystems requires research into the justification of the impact of environmental factors on the formation of territorial agroecosystems and identifies ways to take them into account in order to justify management decisions and ensure environmental safety. The main goal of the research within the article is to identify the most significant environmental factors in predicting the formation of agroecosystems. Provisions are devoted to the study of the laws governing the functioning of agroecosystems in order to increase their stability. The methods of comparative analysis, generalization, abstraction, logical analysis are applied. A number of provisions are formulated regarding ways to account for the influence of factors on the formation of key elements of agroecosystems.
