Culinary industry competition getting tougher to make some employers continue to innovate at a restaurant for some things like menu, places, atmosphere and service that became the mainstay of the restaurant. In so doing, it needs one innovation ability of human resources quality and competence in their field. Innovation will be a reminder for consumers who feel the restaurant services and in turn will increase the revenue thus achieved profit restaurant that is optimal. The selected researchers research object was 3rd Restaurant Oriental cuisine i.e. Kapin, X O Cuisine and Paradise Dynasty which respectively have 3 and 2 branches of the restaurant. This research uses the concept of job characteristics expressed by Hackman and Oldham (1976), which are further subdivided into 5 independent variables namely a diversity of tasks, task identity, task meaningful, autonomy and feedback as well as the dependent variable turnover intention, while the analysis on research using multiple linear regression with the respondent an amount of 120 people that consists of all the employees of the restaurant. Data processing results shows that the diversity of the variable assignments and most influential task ID with a value of beta X1  0,676 and the beta X 2 of 0,538 so that these two variables have a positive and significant impact on the turnover intention because the variable is greater than 0.05 alpha. While the 3 other variables i.e  tasks meaningful, autonomy and feedback does not affect significantly to turnover intention. Keywords: Job Characteristics, Turnover intention.

Understanding nurse leader fatigue and its relationship with turnover intention is essential for maintaining a viable leadership workforce. This secondary analysis of a national survey of nurse leaders explored the relationships of organizational and individual factors with nurse leader fatigue and turnover intention. A nurse leader’s membership in individual and organizational classes is associated with differences in acute and chronic fatigue levels. There were significant relationships between acute and chronic fatigue states and turnover intention. Acute fatigue was a mediating factor between individual and organizational classes and turnover intention. Future interventions to decrease nurse leader turnover intention could be tailored for different types of organizations, individual classes and fatigue type.

Purpose Integrating the job demands-resources theory and the conservation of resources theory, the purpose of this paper is to develop and test a moderated-mediation model examining the relationships between motivating job characteristics, work engagement, conscientiousness and managers’ turnover intentions. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected using a survey questionnaire from 1,302 managers working in eight Indian private sector organizations. Structural equation modeling and hierarchical regression analysis were used to test the hypothesized relationships between the study variables. Findings The study found evidence of the mediating role of work engagement for the relationship between motivating job characteristics and managers’ turnover intentions. Conscientiousness moderated the relationship between work engagement and turnover intention. The total and indirect effects of motivating job characteristics on turnover intention were moderated by conscientiousness. Research limitations/implications The study was cross-sectional, so inferences about causality are limited. Practical implications The findings of this study reaffirm the crucial role of job characteristics in influencing work engagement and turnover intention. By examining work engagement as a mediator for the job characteristics-turnover intention relationship, this study explores the process through which job characteristics are associated with turnover intention. The findings of the moderating influence of contentiousness on the relationship of direct and indirect effects of job characteristics suggests that individual personality can influence social exchanges as well as managerial attitudes and behaviors in multiple ways. Originality/value The study provides an insight into the underlying process through which job characteristics are related to managers’ turnover intentions. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, such a study is the first of its kind.

Introduction: The most critical problem faced by the health care system is the shortage of workers. This phenomenon is due to the release of employees. The number of turnover rate in private hospital is high due to which hospitals management face problems in the field of nursing.Aim: To determine turnover intention and factors behind turnover intention among private hospital’s nurses who worked in Jakarta, Indonesia. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted from March to September 2018 in two private hospitals in Jakarta, Indonesia, involved 97 nurses. Data were collected by employing a set of self-administered structured questionnaires and were analysed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (SEM-PLS technique). Results: The results showed that there was a significant negative influence on organisational commitment to turnover intentions (-0.496). The higher the nurse’s organisational commitment, the lower was the nurse turnover intention. The better the job characteristics of nurses, the lower was the nurse turnover intention (-0.213). There was a significantly positive influence of job characteristics on job satisfaction (0.499). The higher the job satisfaction of nurses, the higher was the organisational commitment (0.374). Conclusion: The findings show that the influence of nurses’ work commitment has the greatest direct influence in influencing the turnover intention. Hospital need to increase nurses’ organisational commitment through their job satisfaction.
