The modeling of BLDC motor and performance analysis under diverse operating speed settings has been presented in this paper. BLDC motors gaining more & more attention from different Industrial and domestic appliance manufacturers due to its compact size, high efficiency and robust structure. Voluminous research and developments in the domains of material science and power electronics led to substantial increase in applications of BLDC motor to electric drives. This paper deals with the modeling of BLDC motor drive system along with a comparative study of modified queens bee evolution based GA tuned & manually tuned control schemes using MATLAB /SIMULINK. In order to evaluate the performance of proposed drive, simulation is carried out at different Mechanical load & speed conditions. Test outcomes thus achieved show that the model performance is satisfactory.

This paper presents a general integrated procedure of fabricating a Hybrid Electric Motorcycle (HEM). Firstly, a simple model designed and simulated using ADVISOR2002 and the proposed model is exported to MATLAB/SIMULINK. Secondly, the controller schematic and its optimized control strategy are described. In addition, the ratings of the components including the batteries, electric motor, and internal combustion engine (ICE) are calculated based on the design. A 125 cc ICE motorcycle is selected for conversion to HEM. A brushless DC (BLDC) motor assembled in front wheel as accessory propellant. The nominal powers are 8.2 kW at 8500 rpm and 500 W for the ICE and BLDC respectively. The original motorcycle has a Continues Variable Transmission (CVT) that is the best choice for the HEM power transmission because it can operate in automatic handling mode and has high efficiency. Moreover, by using CVT the ICE can be started while it is running at 15 km/h. Finally, the three operating modes of the HEM, the servo motors, and the LCD panel were explained.

The main objective of this research work is to design the electronically communtated brushless direct current (BLDC) motor and analysis its performance in MATLAB environment. The use of BLDC engine is expanding daily, the performance analysis is progressively significant and the consumer loyalty is significant. In light of the ranking and requirements, the BLDC engine is planned. The BLDC motor is widely used in a variety of fields. Low ripple input supply and a suitable speed controller are needed to achieve desired motor output. The output of BLDC motors, such as torque, voltage, and speed response, is examined in this paper. The controller parameters have been fine-tuned to improve motor speed. It has been discovered that a three phase voltage source inverter (VSI) fed BLDC motor with a fractional-order proportional-integral-derivative (FOPID) controller provides superior BLDC motor response. The outcomes are broke down utilizing the MATLAB programming.

PurposeThe principal intention behind the activity is to regulate the speed, current and commutation of the brushless DC (BLDC) motor. Thereby, the authors can control the torque.Design/methodology/approachIn order to regulate the current and speed of the motor, the Multi-resolution PID (MRPID) controller is proposed. The altered Landsman converter is utilized in this proposed suppression circuit, and the obligation cycle is acclimated to acquire the ideal DC-bus voltage dependent on the speed of the BLDC motor. The adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system-elephant herding optimization (ANFIS-EHO) calculation mirrors the conduct of the procreant framework in families.FindingsBrushless DC motor's dynamic properties are created, noticed and examined by MATLAB/Simulink model. The performance will be compared with existing genetic algorithms.Originality/valueThe presented approach and performance will be compared with existing genetic algorithms and optimization of different structure of BLDC motor.

Because of the advantage of high efficiency and high density, interest in brushless DC motors and drives is increasing. Unlike DC motors, the brushless DC (BLDC) motors require inverter circuit and position detector. In this paper, we deal with the optimization of the BLDC motor, the inverter, and the position detector. The inverter is optimized to be mounted on the BLDC motor. This paper deals primarily with the design and implementation aspects of the BLDC motor and the integrated drive circuit. Experimental results for the prototype of the BLDC motor with integrated dirve circuit in the laboratory are presented to validate the feasibility.</span>
