This study aims to analyze the ratio of the main dimensions of the vessel to see the performance of vessels with multipurpose gear. The research was conducted in February-March 2018 at the Karangsong Fish Landing Base (Ind: PPI), Indramayu. The object of research is the vessel used for fishing operations with multipurpose gear. The research method uses survey methods through the measurement of the main dimensions of fishing vessels, interviews and literature studies. The data obtained were then analyzed by comparative descriptive to compare the value of the ratio of the main dimensions of the vessel between Length and Breadth (L/B), the ratio between Length and Depth (L/D) and the ratio between Breadth and Depth (B/D). The calculation results of the ratio of the main dimensions of the vessel are then compared with the standard ratio values in Indonesia. Fishing vessels with multipurpose gear in Indramayu have good vessel motion characteristics but have an impact on slow speed, strong elongation strength of the vessel, and stability and ability to drive a good vessel. The dimension ratio of multipurpose gear vessels generally meets the criteria of the ratio of the main dimensions of vessels based on the method of operation in Indonesia. It should be noted that the L / B ratio tends to exceed the minimum standard criteria for the Indonesian dimension ratio, this results in slow speeds and will interfere with the setting and hauling fishing gear on seine boat and mini trawl fishing gear.

The utilization of fish resources by fishermen in the waters of Bone Bay uses different fishing gear and patterns as well as different utilization and management policies. This can affect the sustainability of existing fish resources, one of which is in the Bone Regency area. This study aims to analyze the technical aspects of purse seine and fishing gear used by fishermen in the waters of Bone Bay, especially in Bone Regency. Furthermore, the technical aspects of the vessel and fishing gear as a result of the calculation are compared with the provisions stipulated in the PERMEN-KP Number 71 of 2016 to determine the zone of the fishing area. This research was conducted in Panyula Village, which is the fishing base area of purse seine fishermen and the waters of Teluk Bone, starting from November 2016 to March 2017. This research uses a combination of survey methods and case studies. The type of data used consists of primary data and secondary data. Based on the technical aspects of purse seine vessels, ring trawl fishing gear and FAD fishing tools, purse seine units should be operated on Fishing Route II and Fishing Route III in accordance with Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation Number 71 of 2016.

Mid-water flowlines are a more efficient way of product transfer between floating facilities in deepwater, with flow assurance benefits compared to traditional risers and seabed flowlines. However, the design process for mid-water flowlines is complex as these flowlines are subjected to both environment and vessel loading. During the operational phase, changes in vessel offsets, fluid composition or uncertainties in environmental data and vessel motion characteristics may lead to increased loads and escalated risk of failure. Various mid-water flowline configurations have been considered and the design issues such as strength and fatigue are discussed for each configuration. This paper also outlines an integrity monitoring strategy for mid-water flowlines to track system performance and manage the risk. A case study of such a monitoring system deployed on a mid-water flowline is also presented. This paper also discusses the methodology through which certain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are obtained to effectively manage the inspection intervals, and enable pre-cognition to trigger repair or remedial measures. The benefits of using a combined approach of monitoring and inspection to ensure integrity, improve operational efficiency, and develop cost-effective inspection regimes for mid-water flowlines are also presented.

<p><em>The fishing vessel is the main vehicle of the fishermen to go to fishing ground and hauling purse seine especially fishing gear. Pinrang Regency ships traditionally built without calculation of naval architecture. Where the purse seine fishing gear in Pinrang Regency has length 330 m nets with a depth of 36 m. The purpose of this research was to examine the main dimension ratio in particular design and static stability of the vessel purse seine in Pinrang Regency. Method of using a case study on two types of vessels have different relative and analyzed by numerical simulation, calculate the ratio of the main dimensions and static stability. The results of this research are the vessels in Pinrang kasko model has the shape of a round bottom and slim body as well as the ratio of the dimensions of the vessels only L/D purse seine LOA 24 m more than the standard reference of vessels (encircling) in Indonesia and on the value of the static stability by the IMO, with a purse seine vessel Pinrang already has a good stability. Лов рыбы с применением кошельковых неводов является наиболее распространенным в мире после тралового лова. Процессы кошелькования невода, выборки улова могут существенно влиять на остойчивость рыболовного судна (сейнера). В данной работе рассматривается влияние на угол крена силы, действующие со стороны орудия лова. Приведен алгоритм расчета, учитывающий координаты точки приложения силы натяжения троса, идущего к орудию лова, углы наклона троса, величину силы. Составлены расчетные зависимости для процессов крена, получены выражения для угла наклона корпуса судна. Приведены примеры расчетов. В частности, рассмотрено изменение угла крена от тягового усилия, высоты подъема канифас-блока для промыслового судна. Проведенные расчеты свидетельствуют о достаточной для инженерных расчетов точности и возможности использовать приведенный алгоритм при оценочных расчетах на различных стадиях проектирования. Важно учитывать возможность одновременного наложения ветровых нагрузок, действия волн на корпус судна. В этих случаях крен и дифферент будут возрастать. Поэтому спецификой промысловых судов является необходимость учета поведения судна при проведении промысловых операций. Fishing with the use of purse seines is the most common in the world after trawl fishing. The processes of pursing and seine sampling can significantly affect the stability of a fishing vessel (seiner). In this paper, the influence of forces acting from the fishing gear on the roll angle is considered. The calculation algorithm is given, taking into account the coordinates of the point of application of the tension force of the cable going to the fishing gear, the angles of inclination of the cable, the magnitude of the force. Calculated dependences for roll processes are compiled, expressions for the angle of inclination of the vessel's hull are obtained. Examples of calculations are given. In particular, the change in the roll angle from the traction force, the lifting height of the snatch–block for a fishing vessel is considered. The calculations carried out indicate sufficient accuracy for engineering calculations and the possibility of using the above algorithm for evaluation calculations at various stages of design. It is important to take into account the possibility of simultaneous imposition of wind loads, the action of waves on the hull of the vessel. In these cases, the roll and trim will increase. Therefore, the specifics of fishing vessels is the need to take into account the behavior of the vessel during fishing operations.

This article aims at describing the obseroance of wasiat wajibah (compulsory bequeathment) in the Islamic court of Banten, analyzing the provision of the substitute heir and adopted children in the Compilation of  Islamic Law (KHI). In addition, the ideal laws to manage the innheritance rules in Indonesia. This article is library research by using doctrinal approach and using case study and survey methods. The data was, then, analyzed by using analytical descriptive and analytical correlative methods. The result showed that the observance of wasiat wajibah in the Islamic court of  Banten employed by judges is by using the Mawali Hazairin’s Doctrine. The criteria of the adoption of substitute heir and adopted children in the KHI is the attempts of Ulama and many judgees junst in giving legal justice and certainty to the society.   Key Words: Islamic Inheritance Law, Compilation of Islamic Law, Islamic court of  Banten

This study, conducted at the University of Sumatera Utara (USU) Library, aims to know the effect of service quality on customer trust and to determine student trust in library services based on levels of education. The research applied survey methods with quantitative approaches. Samples are determined using the Taro Yamane formula. The questionnaire covers 22 items of three LibQUAL dimensions. Data analysis techniques were performed using Structural Equation Modeling statistical analysis and path analysis by using the Lisrel version 8.5 application program. The results showed that service quality has a positive and significant effect on student trust. The level of trust in the library varies based on the levels of education. The dimensions of service quality with a positive and significant effect on student trust are the information control and the library as a place.

A number of UK Round Three offshore wind farms are located relatively far from the coast making crew transfer to the sites time consuming, more prone to interruption by weather conditions and increasingly costly. In order to optimize the functionality of a permanent accommodation vessel, Houlder has developed a dedicated Accommodation and Maintenance Wind Farm vessel based on an oil & gas work-over vessel that has been successfully deployed for many years. The Accommodation and Maintenance (A&M) Wind Farm vessel is designed to provide an infield base for Marine Wind Farm operation. The A&M vessel is designed for high operability when it comes to crew access and performance of maintenance and repair of wind turbine components in its workshops. Also general comfort on board is of high regard. As such, the seakeeping behavior of the unit is of great importance. In this publication, the seakeeping behavior is presented on the basis of numerical simulations using 3D diffraction software. The first design iteration is driven by achieving high maneuverability and good motion characteristics for operational up-time and personnel comfort on board the vessel. Model test data of the original work-over vessel has been used to validate and calibrate the numerical simulations. On this basis, parametric studies can be performed to fine-tune a potential new hull form. In turn, this could reduce the number of required physical model tests providing a potential financial benefit and optimized delivery schedule. The vessel motion behavior was tested against the acceptability criteria and crew comfort guidelines of motion behavior for a North Sea environment.

Aceh is a province located at the western tip of Indonesia. Aceh's territorial waters are very strategic waters. The dominant fishing gear used by fishermen in Aceh is the purse seine. The reason many fishermen use purse seines in Aceh is because the waters of Aceh have a lot of pelagic fish potential, where the target of purse seines is pelagic fish. The purpose of this research is to know and understand the construction of purse seines in KM Marwah Lampulo Aceh Utara; as well as knowing and understanding the operation of purse seine fishing gear in Lampulo, North Aceh. The type of purse seine used by KM Marwah is trapezoid. Ring seine construction with PE (Polyethylene) nets with mesh sizes of 1-3 inches. The upper ris rope is 600 m long and 10 mm in diameter, while the lower ris rope is 12 mm in diameter, with a length of 600 m. Selvedge is used for net protection so that it is not easily torn. PE (Polyethylene) rope with a length of 650 meters. PE (polyethylene) based weight rope. Ring strap with a diameter of 10 mm and made from PE (polyethylene). 6000 pieces of PVC-based buoys and 4800 lead-based weights. The operation of the purse seine consists of a setting, namely the process of preparing and lowering the trawl fishing gear into the water, after the catch is collected and the nets have formed a bowl, then proceed with hauling, which is the activity of raising fishing gear onto the ship.
