The Western view of the Amazon rainforest landscape has been for a long time (and partly still is) functional to the colonial ideology and aimed at its natural resources exploitation. Since the colonial penetration, a whole set of myths was created, which crystallised in two stereotyped and opposed images. On the one hand, the Amazonian landscape as ʻgreen hellʼ; on the other, the forest as the Garden of Eden. This paper will approach the theme of landscape and the relationship between human being and nature through the analysis of two Peruvian novels: Paiche, by César Calvo de Araújo and La virgen del Samiria by Róger Rumrrill, which outline a reflection on environmental problems.

How to integrate with the cultural industry and cultivate a new growth point of Harbin is a hot research area. Harbin culture and tourism industry has a good foundation, the development of industry integration accelerates and infrastructure is increasingly perfect. However, it also faces some practical problems, such as the lack of the depth of industrial resources exploitation and utilization efficiency, the low integration degree of ice-snow tourism and cultural industry chain, and the lack of cultural products of high-end music and painting leisure tourism. Build a coupling and coordination model and have a empirical analysis of the degree of coupling coordination between Harbin's ice-snow tourism and cultural industry integration, the conclusion is that the coupling coordination is low and the development of cultural industry lags behind.

This chapter traces United Nations Constitutional Assistance’s historical origins non-chronologically through Ralph Wilde’s family of Foreign Territorial Administration (FTA) policy institutions. It reveals that the following entities internationalized the Western liberal constitution: States, groups of state groups of state representatives, and the League of Nations (including the Permanent Mandates Commission. These predecessors of the UN did so to achieve four common ends: free markets, the rule of law, good governance (including natural resources’ exploitation), and civilized standards, aimed at emancipating women. This chapter establishes that the Constitution gives rise to, and works with each of Wilde’s FTA or international territorial administration, ITA institutions toward common ends. Wilde’s Family reflects the conceptual relations that Chapter 2 established. Wilde’s Family comprises symbiotic parent-child Policy Institutions: The Constitution’s internationalized making and FTA/ITA. On this basis, this chapter argues that Wilde’s Family must be reframed to admit the former: The Parent policy institution.
