The process of disordered urbanization was reduced drastically as the natural areas, which formerly was necessary, the current times of occurrence of empty spaces, which was not different in the City of Recife, but not the District of Dois Irmãos. With the purpose of protecting a fragment of the Atlantic Forest and reducing the pressure on the environment, a state conservation unit was created called Dois Irmãos State Park (PEDI). In this perspective, the study had an objective of surveying the species of shrubs and the analysis of the phytosanitary present in the arborization of the zoological sector of the State Park of Dois Irmãos. With the objective of subsidizing the promotion and development of activities related to environmental education. The survey of plants was made from new census models. In this inventory 369 arboreal individuals were present at the PEDI Zoo, belonging to 25 botanical families, 48 genera and 60 species. Among these are the species, two were of gender level and one was classified as indeterminate. Of the species studied, 70% are natural, 25% exotic and 5% remain unclassified. Regarding plant health, 81.57% of the population is in good condition, 3.52% regular and 14.9% bad. From the DAP and the DAP, it is possible to infer that the data is compiled by processes in the adult phase. It is hoped that this is a game of the child by the Park, in order to promote and disseminate the knowledge of the species inserted in it, thus seeking to raise awareness of the benefits generated by them.

Local extinction of native Atlantic Forest flora species occurs mainly due to habitat fragmentation. Reforestation and natural regeneration can mitigate these factors. The present study attempts to understand whether floristic composition and dispersal processes are being reestablished in an area of lowland Atlantic Forest, eight years after its reforestation. The study area was an old pasture set between two urban fragments in the city of Recife that was reforested in 2011. Melastomataceae species were collected in this area and the morphology of their fruits was compared with the species of the family recorded in the adjacent fragments. Miconia prasina, M. albicans, M. affinis, Clidemia hirta, and C. capitellata have been found in the reforested area. Although there are species with larger fruits in the adjacent fragments, there was no statistically significant difference between the means of the two areas. The fruit morphology indicates that the species found in the area are dispersed by birds and small mammals. It is possible to conclude that the reforested area already presents the expected ecological processes for a corridor between two fragments. Thus, the two adjacent areas serve as vectors for the colonization of native Atlantic Forest species in the reforested area.

Ecotourism, Environment and the Sierra State Park of the Pirineus in the perception of visitors and residents of Pirenópolis (GO, Brazil) ABSTRACT Pirenópolis is a historic town in the state of Goiás, Brazil, with great tourism potential. It is located at the base of “Serra dos Pirineus”, an area that encompasses the Pirineus State Park , a fully protected conservation area, due to its large diversity of fauna and flora typical of the “Cerrado”. Whereas all forms of tourism comprises two poles of interest, the tourist who goes to certain place, than not your work or residence, and the resident receiver (PEREIRA, 2003) aimed to evaluate the environmental and ecotourism perception of the visitors of PESP and the residents of the city of Pirenópolis as weel as detect the profile of these visitors. A questinary was elaborated with data tabulated in the Microsoft Office Excel program and the analysis was based on the frequency and result of the non–parametric statistic test. The region has great potential ecotourism due to concern proven from visitors regarding environmental conservation and its role as a tourist. Regarding the residents, they feel valued, respected and involved with ecotourism activities. However, this potential it is not explored because the Park necessitates to develop activities of environmental education, for way that if disclose and clarify the concept of Ecotourism, individuals inserting within the environment to feel the middle part. <p>The Atlantic Forest presents great biological complexity and high richness and endemism levels, but it is one of the most threatened phytogeographic domain on the planet. Brazil is one of the Rubiaceae diversity centers in the Neotropics. The relevance and representativeness of the Rubiaceae family in the Atlantic Forest is highlighted in floristic composition studies and tropical forest community structures. However, despite the urban expansion in the state of Rio de Janeiro, we still find large areas of continuous vegetation with high connectivity degree. Recently, Rubiaceae flora and floristic surveys were conducted in <em>Restinga</em> and forest areas of Rio de Janeiro state protected by Conservation Units. New Rubiaceae species also have been described in the fluminense flora and they showed localized distributions and small populations. The current paper analyzes the floristic composition of the Rubiaceae in eight Atlantic Forest remnants in the State of Rio de Janeiro - Área de Proteção Ambiental de Grumari, Área de Proteção Ambiental Palmares, Parque Estadual da Serra da Tiririca, Parque Nacional do Itatiaia, Parque Nacional de Jurubatiba, Reserva Biológica de Poço das Antas, Reserva Biológica do Tinguá e Reserva Ecológica de Macaé de Cima - using the PAST software ("<em>Paleontological Statistics</em>") with Sørensen coefficient. Low similarity levels were found due to the habitats’ heterogeneity. <em>Restinga</em> and forest remnants formed distinct groups. The dendrogram showed the formation of three groups, but only Área de Proteção Ambiental de Grumari and Parque Nacional de Jurubatiba (<em>Restinga</em> areas) showed strong bootstrap support (98%). The current study pointed out 19 micro endemic species from the Atlantic Forest, thus conservation strategies were herein discussed. Discrepancies between the Catalogue of Flora of Rio de Janeiro and the Red Book of Brazilian Flora (two of the main reference catalogs of Brazilian flora) have been identified. We also highlight the need for recollecting microendemic species from the Atlantic Forest. We have suggested developing the Red Book of Endangered Species Plant of the State of Rio de Janeiro and launching research projects based on the phylogeographic approach and on conservation biology to faster broadcast information about species that face restricted distribution in the Atlantic Forest.</p>

Diversity of Climbers of the Ubajara National Park, Ceará, BrazilA B S T R A C TLianas and vines are important components of forestry units, especially in tropical regions, which are differentiated mainly by the degree of woodiness in their stem. These groups contribute notably to the richness of species from different ecosystems, bringing benefits to flora and fauna. However, they constitute the least studied component, generating a gap in knowledge about floristic-structural, regenerative aspects, and factors that influence these groups in the different vegetation formations. This study aimed to survey the species of lianas and vines recorded in the National Park of Ubajara (PARNA Ubajara), in the state of Ceará. The information about the species was obtained through consultation with the digital databases Flora do Brasil 2020 and Reference Center for Environmental Information - CRIA. Based on this information, a list of species and an identification key for the registered botanical families were prepared. In PARNA Ubajara, 60 species were listed, distributed in 42 genera and 20 families of lianas and vines, with emphasis on Fabaceae (25%), Bignoniaceae (8.3%) and Convolvulaceae (8.3%), corresponding to 41.6 % of total taxa. Such families were represented in other remnants of the Atlantic Forest, showing a floristic similarity between these areas. Floristic inventories are important to these groups of plants, which can serve as a subsidy for the creation of species conservation programs, especially for those that are in the category of little concern, according to the red book on flora in Brazil, and that were recorded in the study area.Key words: Floristic, Atlantic forest, Northeast of Brazil, Conservation unit.

Proposal for an Interpretative Trail in The Particular Reservation of The Natural Heritage State Mo'ã, Itaara (RS, Brazil) ABSTRACT The present work aims to propose a strategy of reading the landscape by means of an interpretative trail in the RPPN Estadual MO'Ã, which is located in the municipality of Itaara (RS, Brazil). Through this proposal, it is intended to highlight the valuation and preservation of the natural heritage present in the RPPN, through the Environmental Interpretation, whose main objective is the translation of information related to nature starting from direct contact with the environment. Established on June 15, 2015, the State MOH RPPN seeks to promote the protection of environmental resources and the conservation of biological diversity, allowing for visitation and activities that involve Environmental Education. Thus, the presence of a Conservation Unit in the municipality of Itaara opens up space for Environmental Interpretation (IA) practices, which allow a closer relationship between society and nature. For this, we tried to use the systemic methodology, because in order to have AI we have to understand all the elements and their relationships with each other, to translate them to the visitor. Therefore, the results obtained after three field trips allowed the selection of the riparian forest, located south of the property, due to its peculiar dynamics, transforming the landscape into periods of high rainfall. It was decided to approach the theme about the importance of the riparian forest, as well as the energy of the river. Six points were listed from the IAPI method for a self-guided trail of 1.5Km in the vicinity of the river that makes the boundary of the State RPPN MO'Ã with another property. The interpretive medium chosen was the folder and a practical guide, in order to give the visitor autonomy in choosing the points of their interest and possibility to store the information and interpret them. KEYWORDS: Environmental Interpretation; State RPPN MO'Ã; Interpretive Trail; Natural Patrimony.

Ras a1 Khaimah is the most northerly of the seven states comprising the United Arab Emirates and its Ruler, H. H. Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammad al-Qasimi, is keenly interested in the history of the state and its people. Survey carried out there jointly with Dr D. B. Doe in 1968 had focused attention on the site of JuIfar which lies just north of the present town of Ras a1 Khaimah (de Cardi, 1971, 230-2). Julfar was in existence in Abbasid times and its importance as an entrep6t during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries-the Portuguese Period-is reflected by the quantity and variety of imported wares to be found among the ruins of the city. Most of the sites discovered during the survey dated from that period but a group of cairns near Ghalilah and some long gabled graves in the Shimal area to the north-east of the date-groves behind Ras a1 Khaimah (map, FIG. I) clearly represented a more distant past.
