Proposal for an Interpretative Trail in The Particular Reservation of The Natural Heritage State Mo'ã, Itaara (RS, Brazil) ABSTRACT The present work aims to propose a strategy of reading the landscape by means of an interpretative trail in the RPPN Estadual MO'Ã, which is located in the municipality of Itaara (RS, Brazil). Through this proposal, it is intended to highlight the valuation and preservation of the natural heritage present in the RPPN, through the Environmental Interpretation, whose main objective is the translation of information related to nature starting from direct contact with the environment. Established on June 15, 2015, the State MOH RPPN seeks to promote the protection of environmental resources and the conservation of biological diversity, allowing for visitation and activities that involve Environmental Education. Thus, the presence of a Conservation Unit in the municipality of Itaara opens up space for Environmental Interpretation (IA) practices, which allow a closer relationship between society and nature. For this, we tried to use the systemic methodology, because in order to have AI we have to understand all the elements and their relationships with each other, to translate them to the visitor. Therefore, the results obtained after three field trips allowed the selection of the riparian forest, located south of the property, due to its peculiar dynamics, transforming the landscape into periods of high rainfall. It was decided to approach the theme about the importance of the riparian forest, as well as the energy of the river. Six points were listed from the IAPI method for a self-guided trail of 1.5Km in the vicinity of the river that makes the boundary of the State RPPN MO'Ã with another property. The interpretive medium chosen was the folder and a practical guide, in order to give the visitor autonomy in choosing the points of their interest and possibility to store the information and interpret them. KEYWORDS: Environmental Interpretation; State RPPN MO'Ã; Interpretive Trail; Natural Patrimony.

Environmental education is an essential instrument for the formation of a critical conscience in society as a whole. The formation of the agronomy course must be intrinsically linked to environmental issues, since the activities developed by the future professional have direct consequences to nature, so the decisions must have as pillars, the understanding of environmental issues and the promotion of the sustainability in agroescosystems. The present research had as aim to perform a diagnosis on the environmental perception of students and professors of the agronomy undergraduate course of the Agricultural Sciences Center of the Federal University of Alagoas (CECA – UFAL). This work was carried out through a qualitative research, where the data collection was based on a questionnaire, with a sample of 95 students and 15 teachers. Therefore, a deficient and inconsistent approach regarding environmental education in the agronomy course of the CECA-UFAL, thus it is recommended that more disciplines be inserted for environmental education, not only in the course of agronomy, but in all the course of the area of agrarian sciences.

Ecotourism, Environment and the Sierra State Park of the Pirineus in the perception of visitors and residents of Pirenópolis (GO, Brazil) ABSTRACT Pirenópolis is a historic town in the state of Goiás, Brazil, with great tourism potential. It is located at the base of “Serra dos Pirineus”, an area that encompasses the Pirineus State Park , a fully protected conservation area, due to its large diversity of fauna and flora typical of the “Cerrado”. Whereas all forms of tourism comprises two poles of interest, the tourist who goes to certain place, than not your work or residence, and the resident receiver (PEREIRA, 2003) aimed to evaluate the environmental and ecotourism perception of the visitors of PESP and the residents of the city of Pirenópolis as weel as detect the profile of these visitors. A questinary was elaborated with data tabulated in the Microsoft Office Excel program and the analysis was based on the frequency and result of the non–parametric statistic test. The region has great potential ecotourism due to concern proven from visitors regarding environmental conservation and its role as a tourist. Regarding the residents, they feel valued, respected and involved with ecotourism activities. However, this potential it is not explored because the Park necessitates to develop activities of environmental education, for way that if disclose and clarify the concept of Ecotourism, individuals inserting within the environment to feel the middle part. AbstractFor children, environmental issues have become part of their formal and informal educational lives. The merging of the terms environment and education in the 1970s has also witnessed an emerging degree of pessimism through bringing the plight of the environment to the educational arena of children. Much of the discourse surrounding sustainable development is premised on a negative outlook regarding the state of the environment. It is these types of negative messages on which this article focuses. This paper suggests that while attempting to educate future generations about environmental issues, environmentalism may have also assisted in developing a generation of children who have not only become apathetic to environmental issues but also lost in a confusing muddle of “learned hopelessness’.

The process of disordered urbanization was reduced drastically as the natural areas, which formerly was necessary, the current times of occurrence of empty spaces, which was not different in the City of Recife, but not the District of Dois Irmãos. With the purpose of protecting a fragment of the Atlantic Forest and reducing the pressure on the environment, a state conservation unit was created called Dois Irmãos State Park (PEDI). In this perspective, the study had an objective of surveying the species of shrubs and the analysis of the phytosanitary present in the arborization of the zoological sector of the State Park of Dois Irmãos. With the objective of subsidizing the promotion and development of activities related to environmental education. The survey of plants was made from new census models. In this inventory 369 arboreal individuals were present at the PEDI Zoo, belonging to 25 botanical families, 48 genera and 60 species. Among these are the species, two were of gender level and one was classified as indeterminate. Of the species studied, 70% are natural, 25% exotic and 5% remain unclassified. Regarding plant health, 81.57% of the population is in good condition, 3.52% regular and 14.9% bad. From the DAP and the DAP, it is possible to infer that the data is compiled by processes in the adult phase. It is hoped that this is a game of the child by the Park, in order to promote and disseminate the knowledge of the species inserted in it, thus seeking to raise awareness of the benefits generated by them.

ABSTRACT Environmental Education, which became Law in Brazil in 1999, seeks to reflect and raise awareness about social and environmental issues to transform students into "environmental citizens". Studies show that the level of environmental awareness of each individual is directly related to the degree of environmental perception and that this, directly reflects on the environmental behavior of the individual. For this reason, the present study aimed to evaluate the construction of the environmental perception of Brazilian university students. The current environmental education and research are scattered in different disciplines of studies, notably science, engineering, management, economics, politics, and law. This leads to some problems, such as the lack of sufficient understanding of other fields, narrow perspectives towards environmental issues and ill-informed decisions of different branches of the government, and the teaching of one field of the environmental studies based on a false, distorted, or outdated understanding of other fields. Restructuring course curriculum, multi-disciplinary research, and recruitment of college graduates from other fields of study are some of the suggestions.

AbstractEngaging and exciting students about the environment remains a challenge in contemporary society, even while objective measures show the rapid state of the world's environment declining. To illuminate the integration of drama and environmental education as a means of engaging students in environmental issues, the work of performance companies Evergreen Theatre, Leapfish and Eaton Gorge Theatre Company, the ecological oratorio Plague and the Moonflower, and a school-based trial of play-building were examined through survey data and participant observations. These case studies employed drama in different ways — theatre-in-education, play-building, and large-scale performance event. The four case studies provide quantitative and qualitative evidence for drama-based activities leading to an improvement in knowledge about the environment and understandings about the consequences of one's actions. In observing and participating in these case studies, we reflect that drama is a means of synthesising and presenting scientific research in ways that are creative and multi-layered, and which excite students, helping maintain their attention and facilitating their engagement.
