To study such occurrences; we have considered fluid dynamics of ocean coupled with atmospheric motion. In the present study we have considered the eye of the cyclonic system that consist of fluid dynamical source and fluid dynamical sink at a small distance apart, and thus, constitute the fluid dynamical doublet of the object system. Then the fluid dynamical doublet of the object system and its image system has been considered with respect to a firm wall (here the sea shore). The fluid dynamical equation of complex potential with respect to the object system, the image system and the stream velocity have been undertaken. The complex potential of the object doublet, image doublet and the stream velocity have been considered. The velocity vector, consequently the pressure has been retrieve with the help of Bernoulli’s equation of fluid motion. Then the minimum /maximum pressure on the wall that is on the sea shore has been calculated analytically. Thus, it is found that on the basis of some prevailing conditions existing wind and energy the cyclone or hurricane move towards the sea coast or to the right of its motion.

Human motion tracking is widely applied to rehabilitation tasks, and inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensors are a well-known approach for recording motion behavior. IMU sensors can provide accurate information regarding three-dimensional (3D) human motion. However, IMU sensors must be attached to the body, which can be inconvenient or uncomfortable for users. To alleviate this issue, a visual-based tracking system from two-dimensional (2D) RGB images has been studied extensively in recent years and proven to have a suitable performance for human motion tracking. However, the 2D image system has its limitations. Specifically, human motion consists of spatial changes, and the 3D motion features predicted from the 2D images have limitations. In this study, we propose a deep learning (DL) human motion tracking technology using 3D image features with a deep bidirectional long short-term memory (DBLSTM) mechanism model. The experimental results show that, compared with the traditional 2D image system, the proposed system provides improved human motion tracking ability with RMSE in acceleration less than 0.5 (m/s2) X, Y, and Z directions. These findings suggest that the proposed model is a viable approach for future human motion tracking applications.

Although hydrodynamic interactions and cooperative swimming of mammalian sperm are observed, the key factors that lead to attraction or repulsion in different confined geometries are not well understood. In this study, we simulate the 3-dimensional fluid-structure interaction of pairs of swimmers utilizing the Method of Regularized Stokeslets, accounting for a nearby wall via a regularized image system. To investigate emergent trajectories of swimmers, we look at different preferred beat forms, planar or quasi-planar (helical with unequal radii). We also explored different initializations of swimmers in either the same plane (co-planar) or with centerlines in parallel planes. In free space, swimmers with quasi-planar beat forms and those with planar beat forms that are co-planar exhibit stable attraction. The swimmers reach a maintained minimum distance apart that is smaller than their initial distance apart. In contrast, for swimmers initialized in parallel beat planes with a planar beat form, we observe alternating periods of attraction and repulsion. When the pairs of swimmers are perpendicular to a nearby wall, for all cases considered, they approach the wall and reach a constant distance between swimmers. Interestingly, we observe sperm rolling in the case of swimmers with preferred planar beat forms that are initialized in parallel beat planes and near a wall.

Abstract This work examines how a touchless interaction concept contributes to an efficient, direct, and sterile interaction workflow during CT-guided interventions. Two hand gesture sets were designed specifically under consideration of the clinical workflow and the hardware capabilities. These were used to change the position of an X-Ray tube and detector of a CT scanner without breaking sterility and are compared regarding usability and performance in a user study with 10 users. The user study revealed that it is possible to change the angle of the gantry within 10 seconds average in an experimental setup. A straight hand gesture showed higher acceptance than a pistol motivated gesture. Furthermore, the sequences were not optimal and confused the users. It turned out that it feels more natural to activate and confirm the system with the same gesture.

В статье исследуется вопрос о преемственных связях между В.М. Шукшиным и М.Е. Салтыковым-Щедриным. Последовательно рассматриваются особенности проблематики и поэтики сатирических произведений двух писателей. Делается вывод о типологической близости сатиры Шукшина и Щедрина, обусловленной тем, что писатели отображали единую российскую действительность и единый русский национальный характер, хотя и в различных исторических вариантах. Кроме того, можно говорить и о непосредственном влиянии сатиры Щедрина на Шукшина. Это проявляется в теме, идее, образной системе. Произведения Шукшина отличают лаконизм и сжатость, подлинный психологизм и тонкий лиризм, им свойственна близкая Щедрину драматизация, повышенная роль диалога. Отмечается близость художественного языка сатиры этих двух писателей в целом: гиперболизм образов, гротесковость ситуаций, использование литературной и языковой пародии, эзопов язык, сарказм, ирония, юмор, комизм. Писателей объединяет общность мировоззрения, хотя и выражено оно по-разному. Подтверждается преемственность Шукшина по отношению к Щедрину. The article examines the question of the succession relations between V.M. Shukshin and M.E. Saltykov-Shchedrin. The features of the problematics and poetics of the satirical works by the two writers are consistently considered. The conclusion is made about the typological proximity of the satire of Shukshin and Shchedrin due to the fact that the writers reflected a single Russian reality and a single Russian national character, although in different historical versions. In addition, we can also talk about the direct influence of Shchedrin’s satire on Shukshin. It manifests itself in the theme, idea, and image system. Shukshin’s works are distinguished by laconism and conciseness, genuine psychologism and subtle lyricism; they are characterized by dramatization close to Shchedrin’s, an increased role of a dialogue. The author notes the similarity of the artistic language of the satire of these two writers on the whole: hyper-bolism of images, grotesque situations, the use of literary and linguistic parody, Aesopian language, sarcasm, irony, humor, and comedy. The writers are united by a common worldview, although it is expressed in different ways. The succession of Shukshin in relation to Shchedrin is confirmed.
