The effect of dark matter on the weak cosmic censorship conjecture in the extended space

By analyzing the energy–momentum relationship of the absorbed fermions dropping into a Reissner–Nordstöm–anti-de Sitter black hole surrounded by dark matter, the laws of thermodynamic and weak cosmic censorship conjecture in the extended phase space are investigated. We find that the first law of thermodynamics is valid. However, the validity of the second law of thermodynamics depends on the density [Formula: see text] of the perfect fluid dark matter. In addition, we also find that when the fermions are absorbed, the structures of black hole surrounded by dark matter would not change. Therefore, weak cosmic censorship conjecture holds for the extreme black holes and the non-extreme black holes.

Schwarzschild black hole can also produce super-radiation phenomena and the cosmic censorship conjecture may be violated

This article points out that when the boundary conditions$\frac{T}{T_{c}}=z$ (when z is plural) are preset, bosons can produce Bose condensation without an energy layer. Under Bose condensation, the incident wave may condense in the Schwarzschild black hole. At that time, the Schwarzschild black hole event horizon Potential barriers can be generated nearby, and we think that Schwarzschild black holes can also generate superradiation phenomena(This article uses the natural unit system).This implies that the cosmic censorship conjecture may be violated.

Can Naked Singularities Exist Without Violating The Laws of Black Hole Thermodynamics?

According to the cosmic censorship conjecture, it is impossible for nature to have a physical singularity without a horizon because if it were to arise in any formalism, for instance as an extremal black hole (Kerr or Reissner-Nordstrom) then the surface gravity κ = 0, which is a strict violation of the third law of black hole thermodynamics. In this paper we explore whether a true singularity can exist without defying this law.

Testing the weak cosmic censorship conjecture for a Reissner–Nordström–de Sitter black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter

In this paper, we test the weak cosmic censorship conjecture (WCCC) for the Reissner–Nordström–de Sitter (RN-dS) black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter. We consider a spherically symmetric perturbation on deriving linear and non-linear order perturbation inequalities by applying a new version of gedanken experiments well accepted from the work of Sorce and Wald. Contrary to the well-known result that the Reissner–Nordström (RN) black hole could be overcharged under linear order particle accretion it is hereby shown that the same black hole in perfect fluid dark matter with cosmological parameter cannot be overcharged. Considering a realistic scenario in which black holes cannot be considered to be in vacuum we investigate the contribution of dark matter and cosmological constant in the overcharging process of an electrically charged black hole. We demonstrate that the black hole can be overcharged only when two fields induced by dark matter and cosmological parameter are completely balanced. Further we present a remarkable result that a black hole cannot be overcharged beyond a certain threshold limit for which the effect arising from the cosmological constant dominates over the effect by the perfect fluid dark matter. Thus even for a linear accretion process, the black hole cannot always be overcharged and hence obeys the WCCC in general. This result would continue to be fulfilled for non-linear order accretion.

Holography abhors visible trapped surfaces

We prove that consistency of the holographic dictionary implies a hallmark prediction of the weak cosmic censorship conjecture: that in classical gravity, trapped surfaces lie behind event horizons. In particular, the existence of a trapped surface implies the existence of an event horizon, and that furthermore this event horizon must be outside of the trapped surface. More precisely, we show that the formation of event horizons outside of a strong gravity region is a direct consequence of causal wedge inclusion, which is required by entanglement wedge reconstruction. We make few assumptions beyond the absence of evaporating singularities in strictly classical gravity. We comment on the implication that spacetimes with naked trapped surfaces do not admit a holographic dual, note a possible application to holographic complexity, and speculate on the dual CFT interpretation of a trapped surface.

Diving inside a hairy black hole

We investigate the interior of the Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet charged black-hole with scalar hair. We find a variety of dynamical epochs, with the particular important feature that the Cauchy horizon is not present. This makes the violation of the no-hair theorem a possible tool to understand how might the strong cosmic censorship conjecture work.
