Abstract The main aim of this study is to determine whether and to what extent the use of celebrities to dub animated characters affects the degree of credibility of the final version. Our hypothesis is that the character’s voice has a major impact on the degree of credibility: the animated voices performed by professional dubbing actors will be more credible than those performed by actors and non-actor celebrities. Results reveal that the dubbing voice has a significant influence on the degree of credibility of the animated character. In fact, voices dubbed by professional dubbers are perceived as the most credible, whilst voices dubbed by non-actor celebrities are perceived as the least credible.

An animated interior represents a departure from the idea of interior space as a permanent and timeless entity. The understanding of animated characters in the interior allows for the emergence of our complex relationship with space through various forms of engagement. The understanding of an animated interior offers further possibilities that become the basis of design practice. This issue of the Interiority journal presents a collection of inquiries and approaches that reveal various animated qualities of the interior in various contexts. The articles address the character of the interior, which is dynamic and dependent upon various temporal conditions of inhabitation. At the same time, they demonstrate the possible design practices that could emerge from the understanding of animated interiors.

ABSTRACTThis research is to create an animation as a vehicle for relief from animal stories, especially goats and elephants in Sojiwan Temple to be applied as character education for children. The animation model based on the reliefs of animal stories at Sojiwan Temple is useful for reviving story reliefs that are not recognized by children as local wisdom of the nation's culture. By transforming animal story reliefs into animation, it is hoped that the message of character education can be disseminated to the younger generation.Methods of creation and presentation: (1) exploration of ideas and ideas for creating animated creations based on relief of animal stories; (2) designing a model to find an animation design with a transfer approach; and (3) presenting the results of creating animated characters to facilitate the delivery of character education messages for children to strengthen the character of the younger generation. The results of this study indicate that 1) the reliefs of Sojiwan Temple are mostly in the form of potential animals to be used as references for animation creations and are loaded with good moral values for children's education; 2) the design of the animated characters of Gaga and Bingo, which originates from the form of an elephant and a goat, looks its uniqueness. Keywords: vehicle transfer, animal relief, animation, character, Sojiwan.  ABSTRAK Penelitian ini untuk menciptakan animasi sebagai alih wahana dari relief cerita binatang khususnya kambing dan gajah di Candi Sojiwan untuk diterapkan sebagai pendidikan budi pekerti bagi anak. Model animasi berbasis relief cerita binatang di Candi Sojiwan bermanfaat untuk menghidupkan kembali relief cerita yang sudah tidak dikenali oleh anak-anak sebagai kearifan lokal budaya bangsa. Dengan mengalihwahanakan relief cerita binatang ke dalam bentuk animasi maka pesan pendidikan budi pekerti diharapkan dapat didesiminasikan kepada generasi muda.Metode penciptaan dan penyajian: (1) eksplorasi ide dan gagasan untuk penciptaan kreasi animasi berbasis relief cerita binatang; (2) perancangan model untuk menemukan desain animasi dengan pendekatan alihwahana; dan (3) penyajian hasil penciptaan karakter animasi guna mempermudah penyampaian pesan pendidikan budi pekerti bagi anak untuk memperkuat karakter generasi muda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) relief Candi Sojiwan yang mayoritas berbentuk binatang potensial untuk dijadikan referensi bagi kreasi animasi dan sarat dengan nilai moral yang bagus untuk edukasi anak-anak; 2) desain karakter animasi tokoh Gaga dan Bingo yang bersumber dari bentuk gajah dan kambing tampak kekhasannya. Kata kunci: alih wahana, relief binatang, animasi, budi pekerti, Sojiwan.

Dalam penciptaan desain karakter animasi erat kaitanya dengan prinsip Appeal, namun prinsip animasi ini sangat bergantung terhadap penilaian pribadi. Sehingga diperlukan cara yang sistematis untuk memahami penilaian prinsip appeal dalam penciptaan degain karakter animasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Kansei Engeneering untuk mendapatkan penilaian mengenai prinsip appeal dengan menggunakan studi kasus karakter dari animasi Battle of Surabaya. Metode Kansei Engeneering digunakan berdasarkan perasaan psikologis yang tercermin melalui kata kansei. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik multivariant. Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi elemen desain karakter yang dihasilkan dengan prinsip appeal melalui pendekatan Kansei Engenering. Elemen desain pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari studi kasus karakter animasi di film Battle of Surabaya yang berpedoman dengan Kansei Word. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa pengaruh appeal pada design karakter dapat dicapai dengan elemen desain seperti Teritary Color, Near Realis, Hooded Eyes, dan Square Face Shape. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi ilmiah mengenai penciptaan desain karakter yang mengacu pada prinsip appeal. A systematic way to understand the appraisal principle is required in the creation of animated characters. This research uses Kansei Engeneering Method to get consideration of comparative principles by using case studies of characters from the Battle of Surabaya animation. The Kansei Engeneering method is used based on psychological feelings that are reflected through the word kansei. The analysis in this research uses multivariate statistical analysis. This researchy provides recommendations for the character design elements produced with the principle of appeal through the Kansei Engenering approach. The design elements in this study were obtained from a case study of animated characters in the film Battle of Surabaya, which is guided by Kansei Word. The analysis shows that the effect of appeal on character design can be achieved with design elements such as Teritary Color, Near Realist, Hooded Eyes, and Square Face Shape. This research is expected to make a scientific contribution regarding the creation of character designs that refer to the principle of appeal.Keywords— Kansei Engeneering, Appeal, Character design

21st-century knowledge economy driven modern curriculum needs students to perceive complex dimensions of knowledge to be intellectually competent [1]The authors have observed that animation is an excellent way of presenting academics in a less complicated form to students as the concepts can be presented lively and engaging students visually. It has been found out that the platform and the learning atmosphere impact on data mining [2]This study was conducted with the main objective to assess the impact of using 2D animation as an effective teaching tool and to evaluate the most effective learning atmosphere for undergraduate studies. The authors have incorporated a qualitative approach to systematically investigate in-depth the effective use of 2D animation as a teaching tool. The authors have selected 180 business management undergraduate students as the sample of this study.The sample was divided in to two groups where each group comprised of 90 students. One group of students were taught using the 2D animated videos using animated characters relevent to the course module and the other group of students were taught using only the presentation slides created throughMicrosoft power point using only text and images. Through thematic analysis and participant observations, it was found out that there is a direct effect of using animated characters as a teaching tool and it was found out that using 2D animations add more value to the role of a lecturer when delivering through online platforms. This study's findings contribute towards emphasising how effective and innovative teaching techniques can be developed using 2D animations in a classroom environment. Thereby, through positive enhancement of the next generation of leaders' knowledge and attitudes in our country will increase the human intelligence assets in the knowledge-driven economy.
