A vertex set S is called a power dominating set of a graph G if every vertex within the system is monitored by the set S following a collection of rules for power grid monitoring. The power domination number of G is the order of a minimal power dominating set of G. In this paper, we solve the power domination number for splitting and degree splitting graph.

In this paper, the total dr-power domination number of graphs such as complete bipartite graph, generalized fan and generalized wheel are obtained. The forcing total dr-power domination number of graphs resulting from some binary operations such as join, corona and lexicographic product of graphs were determined.

This article aims to identify the content and organization of social representations about the concept of emotions and masculinity of young Bogota men, from a qualitative study design in the light of social representations through associative techniques such as free listings and questionnaires. In comparison by pairs to 20 young men with employment in Bogotá, Colombia, by means of proactive sampling and convenience, the analysis was carried out in the light of graph theory, after identifying the distance index.  It was found that the social representation of the emotion concept is related to a feeling associated to success and motivation, as well as to emotional expressions such as: anger, joy, sadness and happiness.  The masculinity concept is permeated by hegemonic elements, linked to strength, power, domination and manhood, related to responsibility and work.  It is concluded that the social representation of the concepts of masculinity and emotion is diverse, it is reconciled in several peripheral elements which can be fractured and generate mobility in social representation recognizing the mandates of hegemonic masculinity and male stereotypes.

Colonialism exerts its influence on the colonized in the fields of economy, politics, and ideology. Iksaka Banu, a well-known Indonesian writer, takes colonialism issues as the topic in his works. This qualitative descriptive research implemented postcolonial approach to uncover and explain various forms of the West hegemony and the East resistance in fictions entitled “Semua Untuk Hindia” and “Teh dan Pengkhianat”. The research results reveal that: (1) there are forms of hegemony carried out by the colonizer (West) in perpetuating its power in the colonized (East), (2) there are forms of resistance carried out by the colonized (East) to resist the power domination carried out by the colonizer, (3) The forms of hegemony carried out by the colonizer include torturing, restricting access, and degrading the natives, and (4) the forms of resistance carried out by the colonized include performing both passive and active resistances such as learning a language, wearing traditional clothes, building schools, building painting studios, performing coolie rebellion, and kidnapping the colonizer.

In this paper, the lower and upper bounds of the forcing total dr-power dominationnumber of any graph are determined. Total dr-power domination number of some special graphs such as complete graphs, star, fan and wheel graphs are shown. Moreover, the forcing total dr-power domination number of these graphs, together with paths and cycles, are determined.

In this commentary, we respond to Ruez and Cockayne’s ‘Feeling Otherwise’ and consider what is at stake in debates concerning the moods and modes of critique. There is a tendency in geographical work on affect to privilege affirmation, yet a key question remains as to who benefits from such moods of critique and the kinds of analysis that they afford. We argue that dominant theorisations of affirmation and negativity often elide uncomfortable discussions of power, domination, and violence. We offer a reading of the relations between affirmation and negativity through ‘minoritarian affects’ – a reading that arises in the midst of living through racial capitalism, coloniality, patriarchy, and heteronormativity and which builds an indeterminate future from the fragments of our lives and bodies.
