Abstract The influence of welding parameters on temperature distribution in plunging and dwelling phase of friction stir welding (FSW) medium thickness 2219 aluminum alloy is blank. Improper selection of welding parameters will result in uneven temperature distribution along the thickness of the weldment, which will lead to welding defects and ultimately affect the mechanical properties of the weldment. To realize the prediction of temperature distribution and achieve the optimization of welding parameters, a simulation model of FSW 18mm thick 2219 aluminum alloy is built based on DEFORM. The validity of the simulation model is verified by temperature measurement experiments. With the minimum temperature difference in the core area of the weldment as target value, and weldable temperature range of 2219 aluminum alloy as constraint conditions, orthogonal experiments are conducted considering the rotational speed, the press amount, the tool tilt angle, the plunging traverse speed and the dwelling time. The results of variance analysis show that the rotational speed and the dwelling time are significant factors affecting temperature field during plunging and dwelling phase. Through single factor simulation, the welding parameters in plunging and dwelling phase are optimized. This study provides a reference for realizing high-quality welding of a heavy rocket fuel tank.

Background: Standard operating procedure (SOP) is a series of business activities to achieve organisational goals, with each activity carried to be recorded and stored in the information system together with its location (e.g., SCM, ERP, LMS, CRM). The activity is known as event data and is stored in a database known as an event log. Objective: Based on the event log, we can calculate the fitness to determine whether the business process SOP is following the actual business process. Methods: This study obtains the event log from a terminal operating system (TOS), which records the dwelling time at the container port. The conformance checking using token-based replay method calculates fitness by comparing the event log with the process model. Results: The findings using the Alpha algorithm resulted in the most traversed traces (a, b, n, o, p). The fitness calculation returns 1.0 were produced, missing, and remaining tokens are replied to each of the other traces. Conclusion: Thus, if the process mining produces a fitness of more than 0.80, this shows that the process model is following the actual business process. Keywords: Conformance Checking, Dwelling time, Event log, Fitness, Process Discovery, Process Mining

Background: The increase in the success rate of peripheral intravenous catheterization against a difficult intravenous access (DIVA) using ultrasonography is reported; however, reports related to the effectiveness of using ultrasonography in increasing the success rate for visible and palpable veins is limited. Furthermore, according to a previous study, first attempt success in catheterization contributes to low catheter failure incidence. Thus, we developed a catheterization method using ultrasonography for peripheral veins including visible and palpable veins. This study investigates the effectiveness of ultrasonography use in improving the success rate of catheterization and preventing the catheter failure for peripheral veins including visible and palpable veins. Methods: Adult inpatients were recruited. Trained nurses inserted intravenous catheters using ultrasonography. Ultrasonography was used for all vein assessment, target vein selection, and puncturing (i.e. target point selection and/or needle guidance), regardless of the target vein’s visibility or palpability. Catheters with over a 24-h dwelling time were followed for catheter failure incidence. Results: Thirty-one patients were recruited, and they required 34 catheterizations. Total number of catheterization attempts were 39. Of the peripheral veins, 51.3% (20/39) were visible and palpable, 48.7% (19/39) were DIVA. The rate of successful intravenous cannulation was 29 of 34 (85.3%) after one attempt and 4 of 34 (total 97.0%) after two attempts. The catheterization failure incidence was 3.2% (1/31) in the catheter that had an over 24-h dwelling time. Conclusions: Using ultrasonography to all target veins might have contributed to higher success rates of catheterization and extremely low incidence of catheter failure based on objective findings. Selecting the vein with larger diameters and healthy tissue as puncture point and showing center of vessel lumen clearly using ultrasonography might have been contributed the results.

The performance system at the container terminal at Semarang Container Terminal (SCT) is not yet good, it can be seen from the average dwelling time which is still long. Dwelling time optimization needs to be done in order to get a balance of projected increases during trading and to compensate for the various limitations of terminal facilities and infrastructure. One of them is the container handling procedure using an application, namely the cost terminal operating system application. With the qualitative descriptive method, the dwelling time and container handling procedures will be explained using a cost terminal operation system application and the quantitative method is used to find out how much use is in the presence of a vehicle terminal using the formula. There is a very significant positive effect of dwelling time on Port revenue. The long dwelling time is due to several factors, such as high volume / import demand which causes queues during the inspection procedure, 24-hour system inability to perform inspection procedures, weather conditions, and importer readiness. By implementing this system there will be an acceleration of the dwelling time so that Beneficial to importers and the impact caused by container dwelling time after using the cost terminal operation system application is that the waiting time can be reduced.

BACKGROUND Pre-symptomatic imported COVID-19 cases play an important role in border control strategies for containing their further spread to community outbreaks. OBJECTIVE A pre-symptomatic incubation model was proposed to develop precision screening, quarantine, and isolation strategies for containing imported COVID-19 case. METHODS The natural history model of pre-symptomatic and symptomatic COVID-19 was constructed by using 727 imported cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan, consisting of the first pandemic period (March-June), the second containment period (July-September), and the third pandemic period (October-December) in parallel with the evolution of new virus variants. We collected the valuable information on symptomatic cases ascertained upon the arrival and the natural transition from pre-symptomatic RT-PCR detectable phase (RT-PCRDP) to symptomatic phase during 14-day quarantine period. We estimated the incidence of pre-symptomatic disease and the dwelling time from pre-symptomatic RT-PCRDP to symptomatic phase on which we were based to simulate various strategies of screening with RT-PCR test and the optimal interval of quarantine and isolation for the vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers. RESULTS The overall daily rate (per 100,000) of pre-symptomatic COVID-19 cases was 106 (95% CI: 95-118) in the first period (March-June), fell to 37 (95% CI: 27.9-47.2) in the second period (July-September), and resurged to 141 (95% CI: 117-164) in the third period (October-December). Given the median dwelling time, over 82% of the transition from pre-symptomatic to symptomatic phase were noted in 5-day quarantine. The length of quarantine given two tests can be reduced from 14 to 5 days for the unvaccinated traveler. It can be precisely determined by the classification of country-specific risk and may be reduced to two days or lifting, depending on country-specific risk, after vaccination. CONCLUSIONS Precision strategies for imported COVID-19 cases provide a solution to the trade-off between border control and re-opening to travel before vaccination to reach herd immunity worldwide.
