Background:  The study author, while still a medical student, observed microscopic evidence of chronic inflammation in joint tissue of patients suffering with osteoarthritis and hypothesized that osteoarthritis was caused by an infectious process. After graduating from medical school and entering into private practice, the study author had several patients who informed him that when they were on tetracycline therapy, for reasons other than arthritis, their arthritis symptoms diminished to some extent. After reporting improvement of arthritic symptoms with tetracycline, one of these patients subsequently received metronidazole and while taking both tetracycline and metronidazole reported that his arthritic symptoms improved to an even greater extent, as his joint pain further diminished but did not resolve.  Subsequent treatment of osteoarthritis in other patients included the combination of tetracycline, metronidazole, other antibiotics and some natural products but only when L-lysine was added to the tetracycline and metronidazole combination therapy did the author observe yet further improvement in arthritic pain. Since L-lysine was reported to inhibit the growth of herpes simplex virus, the author and another colleague concluded that acyclovir might be a beneficial addition to the tetracycline, metronidazole, L-lysine combination. This four-component combination treatment resulted in total resolution or a marked diminution of osteoarthritis joint pain, joint tenderness and joint stiffness in most patients treated. It was further determined that L-lysine could be eliminated; that acyclovir could be replaced with valicyclovir; and that tetracycline could be replaced with minocycline or doxycycline. Preliminary studies of patients diagnosed with osteoarthritis and treated with tetracycline alone or the combination of tetracycline and metronidazole demonstrated improvement   in their osteoarthritic symptoms.  However the triple combination of doxycycline (broad spectrum antibiotic), metronidazole (antiprotozoal and antibacterial imidazole) and acyclovir (antiviral purine nucleoside) administered orally twice daily for eight weeks showed marked success in a group of patients suffering with osteoarthritis by substantially eliminating their joint pain, joint tenderness and joint stiffness while overcoming their fatigue and increasing their energy level. The data in this report substantiate that this triple combination is a disease modifying therapy that eliminates or markedly diminishes the symptomatology of osteoarthritis and further supports the hypothesis that osteoarthritis is an infectious disease. Objective:  To evaluate the effect of the triple combination therapy of doxycycline, metronidazole, and acyclovir on the joint pain, joint stiffness and functionality in   patients suffering with osteoarthritis. Design:  Non-blinded study of treatment of patients suffering with osteoarthritis Setting:  Primary care internal medicine practice in Alameda County, California. Sample:  Six adult individuals suffering with osteoarthritis. Patients: Six patients, ages 53 through 82 years.  Patient 1 was treated for 28 days and Patients 2 through 6 were treated for 56 days. Method:  After obtaining informed consent, six patients suffering with osteoarthritis were prescribed a 56 day course of treatment with the triple combination of doxycycline, metronidazole, and acyclovir for treatment of their osteoarthritis. Utilizing the WOMAC index for assessment of the effectiveness of treatment of osteoarthritis, pre-treatment   pain, stiffness and functional limitation, were compared to post-treatment pain, stiffness and functional limitations. Results: Three patients demonstrated total resolution of pain and stiffness and greater than 95% improvement in functional limitations.  One of the remaining three patients demonstrated a 70% improvement in pain, total resolution of stiffness, and an 85% improvement in functional limitations; another one of the three remaining patients demonstrated an 86% improvement in pain, total resolution of stiffness, and a 79% improvement in functional limitations; while the last of the three remaining patients demonstrated at least an 85% improvement in pain, 67% improvement in stiffness, and a 63% improvement in functional limitations. Limitations:  No randomization. No placebo. No control group. Small sample size. Conclusion: The results of treatment of these patients suffering the osteoarthritis support the hypothesis that osteoarthritis is an infectious disease.   These results further suggest that osteoarthritis is, at a minimum, modifiable with the triple combination therapy of doxycycline, metronidazole, and acyclovir and is even curative of with this breakthrough treatment in many cases.   The medical treatment reported in this article represents the first truly Disease Modifying medication therapy developed for osteoarthritis.      Keywords: WOMAC index

Abstract The general design of the methodology of the transmission system is usually used to give efficient power to the driven wheel, such as usually used differential to differentiate speed and motion of the wheel. In this paper; we analyze methods of motion control and power transmission variation for an electric vehicle (EV) with two independently driven in-wheel motors and conventional differential used EV. Compares the power transmission ratio of two different configurations drives energy conversion differential and epicyclic gears train analysis. This investigation gives an orderly examination of compendium an electrical vehicle is driven by transmissions system journals published and about different losses through mechanical differential system transmission and how they affect on torque. These studies present a comprehensive convergent study report of power Variation and torque transmission with simulation result distinction in differential and differential-less EV’s by compendium studies and show some comparative results. After a compendium study author finds few losses in differentials such as Pocketing power losses, WPL, drag mishap, friction, and different slip in gears. We have mention different factors also affect drive trains and illustrate the main reason to generate losses during transmission. In addition, we have explained this through simulation.

Recent visualization research efforts have incorporated experimental techniques and perceptual models from the vision science community. Perceptual laws such as Weber's law, for example, have been used to model the perception of correlation in scatterplots. While this thread of research has progressively refined the modeling of the perception of correlation in scatterplots, it remains unclear as to why such perception can be modeled using relatively simple functions, e.g., linear and log-linear. In this paper, we investigate a longstanding hypothesis that people use visual features in a chart as a proxy for statistical measures like correlation. For a given scatterplot, we extract 49 candidate visual features and evaluate which best align with existing models and participant judgments. The results support the hypothesis that people attend to a small number of visual features when discriminating correlation in scatterplots. We discuss how this result may account for prior conflicting findings, and how visual features provide a baseline for future model-based approaches in visualization evaluation and design. @article{yang2018correlation, title={Correlation Judgment and Visualization Features: A Comparative Study}, author={Yang, Fumeng and Harrison, Lane and Rensink, Ronald A and Franconeri, Steven and Chang, Remco}, journal={IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics}, year={2018}, publisher={IEEE}}

Oral Error Correction (OEC) is an essential component in the English language classroom, and how teachers do it can impact students’ learning in different ways. Above all, it is important for scholars to understand what teachers and students think about OEC, so that any similarities and mismatches in perceptions can be further explored and strategies for effective learning through OEC can be proposed. Thus, through this study, author aims to investigate the teachers’ and students’ perceptions toward OCF. With more than 20 research articles thoroughly studied, author presents a literature survey by investigating the students’ perceptions regarding what types of OCF they prefer, when, and by whom (teachers and/or peers) and teachers’ perceptions toward their choices of OEC. It was found that while students and teachers consider OEC to be of paramount importance for positive learning outcomes, there are also similarities and mismatches in terms of what types of OEC they prefer, by whom, and when. One outstanding mismatch was that while students like to get all their errors corrected, teachers do not consider it as pragmatic. The results also highlighted that teachers could create platforms for students to express their opinions about OEC and they should learn about various OEC methods to choose the best ones that fit students’ needs, proficiency, and the activity type.

The article intends to present some of the most interesting facts of the development of religious traditions in Ethiopia, and religion influence on the politics and vise verse in the process of the Ethiopian statehood formation. Course of development of the Ethiopian Statehood was inextricably linked to significant and contradictory influence of different religions: Christianity, Islam and Judaism, but Christianity above all. However, it is not only religion influences different sides of the country’s political life. From the Empire, later the People’s Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (1987 to 1991), and present-day Federal Democratic Republic, religion has been often exploited for the state’s benefits. Thus, this influence was mutual, but not always mutually beneficial. Realizing the scale and significance of the designated topic of this study, author limits his research ambitions only by highlighting the most general trends in the interrelations of politics and religion within the conditionally allocated three historical stages. Firstly, from 4th century until 1974, or from building and strengthening the Ethiopian Empire since Christianity until the overthrow of the last emperor Haile Selassie I. Secondly, through the attempts to build the socialist state (1974 to 1991). And finally, through the Federate State (1991 – present days).
