In attempt to improve stormwater management and compliance the Ministry of Environment Conservation and Parks (MECP) has proposed a multi-site Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) system for managing stormwater compliance at the subwatershed level. This research focuses on the identification and selection of stormwater objectives, criteria, targets, and thresholds to be included as part of the approval. This research also identifies and recommends traditional and alternative monitoring techniques for inclusion in a multi-site permit. Recommendations are provided for database architecture including storage, manipulation, and viewing of monitoring data. The selected stormwater objectives, criteria, targets, thresholds, monitoring techniques, and frequencies were compiled in a multi-site stormwater ECA framework to assist with the MECP with the implementation of multi-site stormwater ECAs within Ontario. The framework serves as an overview of important parameters that can be effectively monitored within a multi-site stormwater ECA.

"Epigraphic squeezes are a key tool for research and teaching. They also have historical and documentary value. They are reliable copies of inscribed text and become the only evidence that remains if inscriptions are lost or destroyed. This paper describes the Venice Squeeze Project for the preservation and enhancement of epigraphic squeezes in the Department of Humanities at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. For the initial phase of the project, the Ca’ Foscari University collection of epigraphic squeezes was published in the digital ektypotheke E-stampages. The current phase involves developing a web application to digitise epigraphic squeezes according to the metadata architecture of E-stampages. The first part of this paper describes the background of the Venice Squeeze Project and methodological issues, which fostered the partnership with E-stampages. The second part describes the relational database that was set up to digitise the Ca’ Foscari collection. The third part introduces the project initiatives to promote a network of Italian institutions interested in digitizing their collections of epigraphic squeezes. Keywords: Greek epigraphy, squeezes, database architecture"

The purpose of this study is to design a School Information System database architecture based on National School Standards. National School Standards are used as a reference in determining business processes in a school, especially elementary and midle-high school. These processes then describe the entity and its attributes. The database used is a Relational Database so that entities and attributes are drawn as a table that has relationships between entities. To model relationships between entities, use Entity Relational Diagrams. The results of this study are the realization of database architecture with national school standards. This database architecture design is expected to be a reference in building School Information Systems that are in accordance with National School Standards.

Increasing digital technology has revolutionized the life of people. The banking system in today’s world is open to threats of fraud and cyber-attacks. Since todays banking system is built on centralized databases, it is easy for an attacker to penetrate in any such database which will easily compromise all the information and data of the customers of the bank. This vulnerability of today’s banking system can be reduced by re-building the banking systems on top of block chain technology, which will remove the centralized database architecture and decentralize the data over the block chain, thus reducing the threat of database being hacked. Since the transactions over the block chain technology is verified by each and every nodes of the chain, it will make the transactions more and more secure thus making the overall banking system faster and secure.

Innovative software with elements of software robotization for the purposes of product quality management and reliability control, including electronic components, has been implemented. The database architecture (DB) as part of an information system (IS) for a quality management system (QMS) has been proposed. Examples of calculations of quality and reliability indicators are given.
