ABSTRACT Objective: to identify the scientific production in health about children with congenital heart disease in COVID-19 pandemic times. Method: this is an integrative review, carried out in June 2020 in the information resources Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health (PubMed), Scientific Electronic Library Online Journal Portal (SciELO) and Brazilian Institute of Information Science and Technology (Oasis Ibict). Results: 14 studies composed this review. Most studies pointed to tests, interventional procedures and surgery for children with heart disease in pandemic times; others discussed possible complications of COVID-19 among children with congenital heart disease. Conclusion: the incipient production of studies and the weak level of evidence denote an important knowledge gap so far, highlighting the need for studies with strong scientific evidence for the formulation of care guidelines aimed at children with heart disease.

The aim of present study is to examine the intellectual structure of the reference lists of postgraduate theses on mobile learning in Turkey. In this research, 88 postgraduate theses indexed in the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education were examined. According to the obtained findings, it was determined that the most theses were conducted in 2019. The average number of pages and citations of doctoral theses is higher than that of master’s theses. The supervisors of the master’s theses are mostly Assistant professors while the advisors of doctoral theses are mostly Associate professors and Professors. In both master’s and doctoral theses, citations to journal articles are more common. The most cited journals in master’s theses were Computers and Education, Turkish Online Journal of Educational Technology, British Journal of Educational Technology. The most cited journals in doctoral theses were Computers and Education and British Journal of Educational Technology. Agnes Kukulska-Hulme and John Traxler’s book Mobile Learning: A Handbook for Educators and Trainers is the most cited book in master's theses. Mohamed Ally’s book Mobile Learning: Transforming the Delivery of Education and Training comes first in doctoral dissertations. Mike Sharples has been the most cited author in both types of postgraduate theses.

Scientific journal is an indicator of the progress of an educational institution. Publication in Scientific Journals is a tool to build the reputation of lecturers, researchers, teachers, and universities. However, the management of journals in Indonesia still does not consider the importance of indexing as a way of global dissemination. This is evident from the data showing that of the total journals registered in Indonesia, only 5.17% have been accredited. Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Mineral Technology, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta has a Scientific Journal called Jurnal Ilmiah Lingkungan Kebumian (JILK). JILK is a forum for writing, scientific work, and research related to the environmental management of the mining industry, environmental management of petroleum and geothermal industry, regional development and disaster mitigation and relevant fields of environmental science and technology studies. Journal accreditation can expand JILK connectivity to improve the quality of publications. The main objectives of this research are to optimize and improve the management of JILK to get maximum accreditation score. There are several steps to conduct this research including identification of the requirement for journal accreditation, preliminary assessment, evaluation of journal management, workshop and benchmarking, implementation of evaluation results, and submit the journal accreditation. The methodology that used for this research are discussion with journal expert and benchmarking with another scientific journal. From the implementation of preliminary assessment from internal editorial team and evaluation from external journal expert, JILK can increase the accreditation score from 59 to 67.

ESL learners have varying perceptions towards their English language learning experience because no one student is alike with the other. Gender differences is an important aspect of ESL learners’ identity which is frequently overlooked because English curriculums and teaching methods are usually carried out in classrooms with a one-size-fits-all concept, and does not cater to the different needs and learning styles of their students. This study aims to determine whether gender plays a significant role in shaping ESL learners’ perceptions towards English language learning. This study was conducted via the systematic literature review method. A total of ten literatures were chosen for inclusion in this study based on specified criteria and gathered from various online journal databases. Based on the results, it was found that gender does play an important role on ESL learners’ perception due to societal and environment factors that feed into stereotypical gender roles. Also, the inherent biological and psychological differences between males and females can affect ESL learners’ perceptions and attitudes when learning English.

Academics are an important user group for their university libraries. Academic libraries are trying very hard to balance limited funding and users’ needs, especially while the information-seeking behaviour of academics is being changed by electronic resources. This study was undertaken to discover the information-seeking behaviour of academics and their use of the library at Lincoln University of New Zealand. The results from this study will be useful to enhance the collection development and prioritise programs and services to meet academics’ needs more effectively. An online survey was used for this study. All academics from the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the Faculty of Commerce and the Faculty of Environment, Society and Design were selected and 49 academics responded. The results indicated that a great number of academics depend on libraries for getting information. Academics are facing a big problem regarding the lack of time to obtain information. They also display great interest in using online journal articles and printed books from Lincoln University Library. However, academics are not interested in using the latest tools, such as smart phones, e-Pads etc. It was also established that academics from different disciplines have a very similar information-seeking behaviours. In addition, academics are satisfied with the library resources and services but they do not use it as much as they recommend it to students. Finally, academics have little contact with library staff. Based on these findings, it was recommended that library resources should continue to have both electronic resources and printed resources. Librarians and library systems must do better to improve the time lost in information-seeking by academics. There is a need to improve the communication and collaboration between librarians and academics to encourage academics to use more library resources in their teaching, and librarians should encourage academics to learn the latest information-seeking tools and skills, as well as promote the library services and resources more.
