Oral cavity diseases are common among small domestic animals; they can be of traumatic, inflammatory, bacterial, viral or mycotic origin. Pathologic process affecting superficial as well as deep layers of mucous coat of gingivae, ligamentous apparatus, periosteal coverage develops secondary to deterioration of metabolic processes or traumas and in any case is followed by decrease of immunological status of organism as a whole as well as local immune response to introduction of pathogen. Sharp pain syndrome and inflammatory edema of tissues troubles eating and drinking which additionally weakens the animal's organism and leads to even worse course of disease. The necessity of conducting research is dictated by the lack of information concerning the use of condylar blocking using immunomodulating and antibacterial drugs as a part of complex therapy of oral cavity diseases among small pets. Clinically disease declared itself in salivation of different intensity, hyperemia, anabrosis and ulcers with festering incrustations on mucous coat of oral cavity, swelling of submandibular lymphonodus, troubled eating and drinking or complete incapability to eat or drink as a result of sharp painfullness. In such cases the use of procaine block of supramaxillary and mandibular branches of trigeminus (V) which innervates skin and mucous coat of lips, gingivae, bottom of oral cavity, front parts of tongue, hard and soft palates and notal and ventral branches of buccal nerve (VII) which innervates cheeks, lips and nose muscles, joining together along their bodies and with branches of infraorbital nerve, temporal-auricular and mental nerve, sufficiently improves the state of animal by removing pain syndrome and as a result restoring blood circulation in damaged areas. Our work describes the methodology of condylar blocking with small pets as a part of complex therapy of diseases of oral cavity. Two new methods of blocking have been developed and tested. Anatomic assessment of effectiveness of different compositions of condylar blocks with cats and dogs has been made. In our work we studied the effectiveness of drug «Forvet®» as part of complex therapy of animal diseases of oral cavity using blocks of notal and ventral branches of buccal nerve (VII), supramaxillary and mandibular branches of trigeminus (V).

The article is devoted to the study of the capabilities of the EG-2990Zi video gastroscope combined with the EPK-i7000 Pentax video processor in the process of comparative assessment of the effectiveness of using narrow-band video imaging with optical magnification in diagnosing certain diseases of upper gastrointestinal, namely, the esophagus, gaster, and duodenum. In particular, the method of comparative assessment of the mucous coat condition and morphological criteria in patients with Barrett's esophagus, as one of the serious complications of gastroesophageal reflux disease, is considered when performing narrow-band video imaging with optical magnification compared to a routine endoscopic examination technique. At the second stage, endoscopic indices and morphological diagnostic criteria in patients with ulcers and cicatricial deformity of the gaster and duodenum were compared. The final stage is connected with the study of the state of the mucous coat and morphological criteria in patients with polyps of the stomach and duodenum. The result of a comparative analysis of the findings obtained using these methods enables the early detection of changes in the mucous coat of the esophagus, preceding neoplastic ones when coinciding with the morphological conclusion in patients with the above diseases. The main points of scientific novelty include the following: a clear diagnostic algorithm has been first proposed for diseases of upper gastrointestinal diseases, taking into account the use of innovative technologies combined with a morphological study of biopsy material, which differs from routine endoscopic examination only in white light using a logical structure of study of the effectiveness of various endoscopic imaging visualization modes in terms of detailing of the micrograph and angioarchitecture of the mucous coat during the identification of spread and extent of manifestation of various chronic pathologies of the esophagus, gaster and duodenum; it has been proposed to assess the inter-relation between the data of endoscopic examinations and morphological criteria within the independent main and control groups, differing in the use of correlation analysis by the Spearman criterion and allowing to statistically substantiate the advantages of narrow-band imaging with hig

Department of hospital and pediatric surgery, Novosibirsk State Medical University OBJECTIVE. The authors made a complex assessment of functioning of the artificial esophagus, which was formed from the stomach. The pathological study of biopsy material of mucous coat of the stomach was carried out at different terms after surgery. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The research analyzed the results of esophagogastroplasty in cases of scarry strictures of the stomach after burns and esophageal achalasia in 101 patients. All the patients underwent extirpation of the esophagus with the gastric tube plasty. RESULTS. There weren’t noted any complications with gastric graft functioning. These data were confirmed by X-ray and endoscopy. The structural reorganization of the mucous coat with signs of atrophy was revealed according to the data of pathologic research. CONCLUSIONS. The authors indicated the necessity of the dynamic follow-up of the patients after esophagoplasty.

Barrett’s esophagus is considered as a predictor of esophageal adenocarcinoma with multistage neoplastic progression at present time. The research assessed an expression of microRNA-21 in 25 patients with different degree of metaplasia and dysplasia of mucous coat of esophagus. The level of expression of microRNA depended on the presence and degree of expression of neoplastic changes of mucous coat of esophagus. The expression rising of microRNA was noted in patients with columnar-celled metaplasia and intraepithelial neoplasia and in case of esophageal adenocarcinoma. The treatment strategy could be determined by the method of estimation of the level of microRNA expression in biopsy material from mucous coat of esophagus in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease and using other criteria.

The authors analyzed complications in peroral endoscopic myotomy in case of esophageal achalasia in 27 patients. There were noted hypercapnia, carboxyperitoneum, hemorrhage, perforation of mucous coat of esophagus. These complications were suppressed during endoscopic manipulations.

The paper presents the results of the macro-microscopic examination of the vascular bed and the structure of the endometrium at 20 specimens of uterus, taken from the corpses of children’s and teenage periods of ontogenesis. It is shown, that the growth of the glands of the mucous coat of the uterus begins in the second infant periodand intensifies in teens. This determines the transformation of single-layer network of lymphatic capillaries to the double-layer one. There were marked transformations of glands and fibrous structures during the cyclical changes of endometrium. Glands increase and lymphatic and blood capillaries and lymphoid elements occur as the primary divisions of the glands and their ducts.
