Management implementation is a form of regulation in conveying information visually with the aim that everyone can understand the situation and conditions in the laboratory area. Visual management implementation uses the 5R principle in its application, namely concise, neat, clean, careful and diligent so as to produce habits that make it a culture to carry out activities in the laboratory according to operational standards. This study aims to determine the level of efficient performance in the operation and safety of the biochemical laboratory. Testing is carried out by identifying the layout of the laboratory interior including tools and materials, planning, compiling, socializing and implementing SOP and K3 in activities in the biochemical laboratory.

"With escalating SARS-CoV-2 outbreaks, the fight against the disease has become an absolute priority and social distancing measures have been adopted both at the level of the community and at the level of higher education in Romania. The present article emphasizes the advantages and disadvantages of online language teaching for economics students while taking into consideration various aspects such as the flexibility of the program, saving information on the platform for the benefit of the teacher's focus on teaching materials, planning courses and communicating with students, adopting a new assessment system, improving time management, use of internet resources but also drawing attention to the fluctuating internet connection, the crash of the devices or of the platform, potential disturbing factors, students' passivity, the lack of motivation and real connection, the lack of a sense of belonging to a group or an institution, etc. The present paper brings forth several solutions while advocating the integration of the online experience within the traditional teaching system"

Recently, multimodality has attracted the attention of researchers, notably in the educational milieu. However, only a few studies reported on the way students perceived the use of Genre-Based Multimodal Texts Analysis (GBMTA) for teaching multimodality. After addressing the gap, this study focuses on students’ perceptions on the use of GBMTA in multimodality teaching in higher education. Sixty-nine students were involved in the study. Each of the students produced one journal through three meetings. The journals were then collected for document analysis and thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2006). The findings reveal that the students perceived GBMTA as facilitating them in the building of multimodal discourse analysis, challenges and solutions of comprehending multimodal teaching materials, planning better learning strategies in the future, engagement on multimodal learning issues, and multimodal text analysis practices. This study contributes to multimodality teaching or multimodal discourse analysis within genre-based learning.

The purpose of this study (1) to test the development of poetry writing teaching materials planning with a combination of demonstration models and class VIII word giving techniques in junior high school; (2) test the feasibility of the design of poetry writing teaching materials with a combination of demonstration models and class VIII word grammar techniques; and (3) testing the effectiveness of developing poetry writing teaching materials with a combination of demonstration models and class VIII word syllabic techniques. This development research refers to the 10 stages of Borg & Gall which are simplified into 3 stages, namely information gathering, product manufacturing planning, and product development. The results showed that the development of planning poetry writing teaching materials with a combination of demonstration models and class VIII word syllabary techniques has 14 important parts. The average score of assessment and validation by media experts, material experts, and Indonesian language teachers was obtained 4.43, this value means teaching poetry writing material with a combination of demonstration models and class VIII word giving techniques is very suitable to be used as an independent teaching material for students Class VIII Middle School. The results of the trial evaluation and validation of each aspect obtained an average score of 4.58, this value means the teaching material of writing poetry with a combination of demonstration models and class VIII wordbearing techniques is very effective according to the responses of students of class VIII SMP.

Because few studies have explored preservice speech-language pathologists’ (SLP’s) learning outcomes in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) coursework and clinical practica, there is a need to investigate student learning in this area. This article represents a portion of a larger study that explored the expert-novice gap in planning for intervention with children who use AAC. The companion article reports clinical reasoning skills, whereas the present study revealed intervention planning skills. The methods are the consistent with those reported in the companion article. In summary, eight novice (i.e. preservice) SLPs and eight expert SLPs completed think-aloud tasks while they developed intervention plans. Verbal data were transcribed and analyzed qualitatively. Eight intervention planning skills emerged from the data: selecting treatment style, planning activities, selecting or developing materials, planning teaching strategies, selecting targets, goal setting, collecting data, and feature matching. Considerable overlap across expert and novice performance was observed in some areas, while minor differences were noted in other skills. Expert-novice gaps were identified in two areas, developing a treatment style and feature matching. Familiarity with expert-novice gaps in intervention planning has implications for preservice instruction in AAC.

Introduction:There has been a dramatic increase in the number of mass shootings (loosely defined as an incident with four or more indiscriminate victims) in the United States (1). Additionally, the use of high-caliber, military-style weapons, has become more common in civilian shootings. These trends should influence how emergency departments prepare for disasters, including an inventory of what critical care medical materials (supplies) are readily available in the event of a disaster.Aim:To demonstrate the need for the adoption of medical materials planning for disasters to account for new injury patterns from mass shootings. Methods:A review of injury patterns from recent mass shootings was conducted using available literature (2). The average number of victims presenting to the emergency department in these events was reviewed. Estimation of critical care specific medical materials in the emergency department required for the management of an “average” number of victims with the typical injury pattern of these events was conducted. Results:Some critical care specific medical materials: intubation equipment, chest tubes, and central venous catheters may be in short supply during a mass shooting event.Discussion:Emergency physicians must anticipate and prepare for new disaster trends such as mass shootings and high caliber weapons injuries. This includes having specialty medical supplies readily available in sufficient amount. Normal stocking of critical care specific medical materials may be inadequate in a mass shooting event based on the available literature.
